Breaking News: Brian Lawler Fired From WWE
-We have just been told that Brian 'Grandmaster Sexay" Lawler was fired from WWE upon arriving to RAW last night. We do not have very many details on this other than the fact that Lawler showed up late to one of the RAW brand house shows this weekend and was warned by management.

Lawler was told that if he showed up late again to a WWE event he would be fined.

Christopher had previously been released by WWE in 2001 after being arrested in Canada and charged with possession of illegal drugs. Christopher, real name Brian Lawler, pled guilty to possession of cocaine.

News For RAW Next Week; Spoilers, Matches, More
-As announced on RAW last night, there will be a 20 man over the top rope battle royal for the number one contendersship for the World Title next week on RAW. The winner will face Chris Benoit at Bad Blood. As we have been reporting, the current advertisements in Ohio indicate Chris Benoit vs. Kane for the PPV so take that for what its worth.

Also next week on RAW, Kane has given one week for Lita to give him an 'answer'.

Speaking of Lita, she will go one-on-one with Trish Stratus next week.

Konnan Going To WWE, Guerrero Involved; More
-Thanks To Mike Sawyer For The Following:

Konnan is apparently working in TNA without a contract. He has been telling people that he plans to head over to the WWE in a couple weeks from now. There is also some talk of Eddie Guerrero being the one who is bringing him in to the WWE.

The problem is that Vince McMahon doesn’t really like Konnan too much from something that happened a few years back. The only reason Vince would let Konnan in the WWE is because it’s apparently a favor to Eddie Guerrero. Many feel that Konnan is not ready for a run in the WWE, however according to Konnan he will be going there to work something out in the next couple weeks.

Eddie Guerrero and Konnan both wrestled in Mexico around the same time period, they also wrestled in WCW in the same time period. They were both members of the WCW stable “The Filthy Animals” from late 1999 to early 2000, right before Eddie left WCW.

Working without a contract in TNA means that he is under no obligation to continue working TNA shows for any certain amount of time. Him not having a contract with TNA means he is a free agent and that he can work pretty much anywhere he pleases. Konnan was a huge draw in WCW and is still a crowd pleaser in TNA

Triple H's Next Movie In Major Jeopardy
-A report on the Film Force website notes that Triple H's feature film starring vehicle "Jornada del Muerte" may be in trouble due to political issues between WWE Films' representatives and reps for writer/director John Milius, who is set to helm the film when it begins shooting this July in New Mexico.

The project, set to star Triple H as Jonah Hawk, an ex-marine who goes for revenge against a biker gang who kill his friend and kidnaps his girlfriend set in the desert, may be derailed due to political chasms between WWE Films' representatives at Endeavor (which represents WWE, their characters, and properties within the entertainment field) and Milius' representatives with ICM.

Endeavor was formed several years ago by agents who left ICM to create their own company, so politically, there is a minefield to cross before those two sides will want to work together. Milius had agreed to do the film after discussions with WWE owner Vince McMahon and without the involvement of Endeavor, which is now pushing not to use ICM talent and instead bring the film "in house."

Although there is a chance that Jornada del Muerte may fall apart due to the politics involved, Triple H and Milius have already agreed to work together on Milius' next Conan film, when that is produced.

Benoit/RAW Notes, WWE/NJPW Agreement, Halloween Havoc; More:

Just a note if you didn't notice, Chris Benoit was not on screen at RAW last night.

WWE used footage from New Japan Pro Wrestling's 1994 Super J-Cup tournament in their Benoit video shown on RAW last night. A few weeks back WWE had apparently reached out about an agreement with New Japan for either leasing or buying footage to use in the United States, and it appears as if a deal has been made between the two sides.

The video also featured some clips of Benoit in the Hart family dungeon, which was filmed a few weeks ago around the time of the Backlash PPV.

Speculation as of right now is that WWE's October PPV could be called either "Halloween Havoc" or "Road Wild."

Scott Steiner Done With WWE, Austin vs. Hogan Update; More:

AWA Wrestling Superstars is still promoting a Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan match even though they have already received a cease and desist letter from World Wrestling Entertainment about dropping the "Stone Cold" name from their promotional campaign. The reality is, Dale Gagner does not have Austin and Hogan available for a singles match, rather he is just using the names to gain attention for his own talent, while mentioning that the two are free agents and would be available for independent bookings. Whether or not they would accept independent bookings, or what price they would be asking, is unknown.

Scott Steiner has been physically cleared to wrestle, but as of right now the plan still seems to be that WWE will have Steiner ride out the duration of his contract. Currently WWE creative "has nothing" for Steiner, and the feeling overall is that Steiner is too injury prone to be a guy who gets a lot of TV time, or gets a big push. For the past several years Steiner has had severe back and nerve problems in his leg, and the amount of stretching that Steiner had to do before being durable enough to do a limited match was said to be incredible. Steiner's contract expires at the end of this year, as he signed a two-year deal with the company at the start of 2003.

Stephanie McMahon's Return, Ric Flair/RAW News, Y2J; More:

It has been reported that Ric Flair missed last week's RAW (5/3) so that he could spend time with his newborn granddaughter, but I have been hearing that wasn't the reason why he missed the show. Not sure exactly what it was, but it had to be something significant considering the roll Flair has been on as of late.

Chris Jericho's next album will be released in August of this year. It should be finished by this month.

Stephanie McMahon is healed up from her nasal surgery last week, as reported right here, and since then she has been traveling full-time with the RAW roster. She hasn't come out in front of the live crowd, as it is more so that she can travel with HHH, rather than being something official. It is unknown when she will return to an on-screen role as of right now.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller Shoots on McMahon, WWE:

The New Voice of Wrestling went live once again this past Sunday! The show was highlighted by a highly controversial interview with Ernest “The Cat” Miller. The Cat was definitely not happy with his latest job in WWE, and he held nothing back from Chris and Brando!

Some of Ernests comments include

- Everyone in the WWE are nothing but a bunch of ass kissers!

- J.R said all of two words to him during his time in the WWE. And he would like to “smack his face straight”.

- The writing team asked him to “go out and dance like a black Dusty Rhodes”.

- He wonders “how in the hell they couldn’t write for him but could write for someone like John Cena”.

- He doesn’t like WWE, and didn’t even watch the program when he was there.

- He feels that The Cat is a character anyone could put over, and sees no reason why the creative staff could do nothing with it in the WWE.

- He has a great relationship with Jeff Jarrett and the guys over at TNA, but right now he would rather concentrate on his Karate than work in wrestling.

- “There aint no bad-asses in wrestling” and he could “Beat everyone’s ass in that locker room”

- “If Vince stopped in the hall real fast, he’d have all kinds of heads up his ass.”

More Information On Bobby Heenan's Return:

In recent weeks, reports have indicated that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan would be making a return to the WWE. Reports continue saying that he will be back, but not for RAW or SmackDown! this time he will be the voiceover for the new 24/7 video on-demand service. A Majority of the matches shown on that service will be from the Heenan era.
Although this seems very likely, things can change in a matter of days but we'll keep you posted on any information we receive.

Official WWE RAW Preview: Kane/Lita, Bischoff & More:

As usual, General Manager Eric Bischoff is throwing his weight around and nobody seems to be complaining about it this time. Last week, he announced a blockbuster series of matches that resulted in one of the most dramatic weeks of Monday Night RAW in recent history. This week, Bischoff has set the stage for yet another Monday night full of drama.

An opportunity to win the biggest prize in sports entertainment highlights Monday’s RAW, as a 20-Man Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal will determine who faces Chris Benoit at the Bad Blood pay-per-view event in June. In what will be a virtual RAW All-Star team in the ring at one time, only one man can emerge as the No. 1 contender. Who will this be? Find out on RAW.

Also, last week, in yet another exchange between Kane and Lita, it was revealed that Kane made a proposition to Lita. Kane demanded an answer this coming week in San Diego and threatened that Lita “better make the right decision.” What is this proposition that Kane made and what will Lita decide? Will this decision affect her match with Trish Stratus next week? Tune in to find out.

All of this, as well as the fallout from a blockbuster Monday Night RAW last week at 9/8 PM CT Monday night on Spike TV.

I guess we can take Grandmaster Sex-ay off that list.

I hate it when they do this shit, you know that about 5 or 6 of those guys really have a chance, and you know the rest have no shot in hell.

Perhaps they can replace Grandmaster with HBK.......................

If he doesn't get his 1 on 1 title shot at the ppv, that is bo-fucking-gus..

Triple H as the new Conan?

IGN FilmForce (http://filmforce.ign.com) reports that WWE wrestler Triple H will star in Warner Bros. "King Conan," the third film in the Conan series which originally starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first one.

The site says that it is not a done deal yet. Triple H will be making his feature film acting debut in New Line's "Blade: Trinity" opening this December.

Has anyone here ever went too see the WWE Live?I have once and it's something I'll NEVER forget.Even though me and my Dad had bad seats(the balcony) you could still see the matches.Stone Cold was there he fought Triple H and won.It was low budget though it wasn't a big event. It was just a House Show. They used the WWF In Your House Mats and aprons. When Kane came out Fireworks didn't come out of the ring post it was just smoke.

UnderTaker Vs Kane was a good match but Paul Bearer tried choking Kane from ringside and it was DQ.I laughed when Road Dogg and Billy Gunn came out.Road Dogg took the microphone from the announcer and said "Mother F******" for no reason. Then he went on with his announcement like he always done and the crowd went wild.I forgot who he fought it could of been The Headbangers(good tag-team by the way.)It was alright.I would have went again but I heard it wasn't going to be too good because Owen Hart just died.

Yes i have. By no means am i trying to brag but i have been to 3 Nitros and 5 Raws. By far the Raws were better. The only way i go is if we get floor seats. Its pretty easy to get them too. Just go to Publix or some other place that has Ticketmaster and get there about 30 mins before they go on sale. We have gotten floor seats every time. And to me 40 bucks plus surcharge aint that bad for really good seats. Id love to attend a PPV but its like 200 for the lowest seat price and thats a little out the price range.

Major Announcement Regarding Hulk Hogan, Austin; Details:
The following is listed on the American Wrestling Association's official website, AWAStars.com:

"A major announcement to be made regarding HULK HOGAN and AWA Wrestling Entertainment, Inc."

It should be noted that this company had been promoting an Austin vs. Hogan match for the past month, ever since it was known that Austin had parted ways with WWE. As reported here earlier this week, WWE sent a cease and desist letter to Dale Gagner of AWA with regard to the use of the "Stone Cold" name. As a reminder, there is no confirmation on whether the company has actually signed Hogan for an appearance, or if they are just using his name to get more promotion towards their own superstars. This story has been documented over the past month or so on this website, but now all mentions of Steve Austin have been removed, and a "major announcement" concerhing Hulk Hogan was put in it's place.

WWE SmackDown! Preview: Match Listings (*NO-SPOILERS*):

(1) D-Von Dudley w/Bubba Ray vs, Rob Van Dam

(2) Booker T vs. Johnny Stamboli & Nunzio in a handicap match

(3) Hardcore Holly w/Billy Gunn vs. Rico w/Charlie Haas

(4) John Cena vs. Sakoda.

A video to hype Mordecai will air

(5) JBL vs. Rey Mysterio.

Austin And Goldberg Interviewed Together At Laker Playoff Game:
Last night at halftime of Game 4, LA Fox Sports anchor Larry Burnett interviewed Goldberg and Steve Austin. Here are the highlights:

* Burnett referred to Austin as “Stone Cold” but was quickly cut of by Austin who reminded Burnett that he is now only Steve Austin because Vince McMahon owns the name Stone Cold. Austin said it didn’t matter though because Steve Austin still has the same attitude & demeanor and its not about the name, its about the person.

* Goldberg said they were at the game because of his friendship w/ Karl Malone. Goldberg is clearly a Lakers fan. Austin reminded both Burnett and Goldberg that he is from San Antonio, but never came right out and said he was a Spurs fan.

* Goldberg stated he is still very good friends with both Malone and Shaq.

* Burnett then jokingly asked Goldberg if he owned his own name and, in Steve Austin fashion, said “Hell Yeah”
Burnett asked Goldberg if and when he was going to go back to wrestling for the WWE. Goldberg said “I’m done – Vince McMahon can kiss my tookus”. Burnett then asked Austin and he more congenially said “never say never”.

* Burnett then asked Austin about going back even though he’s suffered many injuries and he said you never know what could happen in that business. Burnett must have thought Goldberg was kidding so he asked him again and Goldberg said “I’ll be back approximately 50 yrs after Steve Austin returns”.

* Burnett then asked Goldberg about his movie project “Santa Sleigh”. Goldberg said he enjoys acting, especially when you consider that a 6’4”, 280 crazy jewish guy can play Santa Clause. (Hilarious)

* Burnett wrapped up the segment by thanking both of them & to enjoy the rest of the game. Austin intervened and thanked Goldberg for showing him around LA and how much he really enjoys it here.

Overall, both Austin and Goldberg came across great, except Goldberg is seemingly very bitter towards McMahon. I think we’ve seen the last of Goldberg based on his comments. Most of all I was impressed with Burnett, who is a mainstream sports anchor here in LA who came across as exceptionally knowledgable about Austin, Goldberg, WWE and even went on to say how he finds it interesting how many pro sports athletes enjoy and look up to pro wrestlers. All in all, an excellent segment.

Major *Spoiler* For Tonight's NWA-TNA PPV:
Credit for the following goes to PWInsider.com:

Several sources close to TNA are telling us that the company is planning on bringing Dusty Rhodes back for several appearances, possibly even starting with tonight's PPV. Rhodes worked for the company a few times in the last two years, with his last match taking place in November of last year when he worked in a "fans as lumberjacks" match against Jeff Jarrett.

From what we've been told, the plan is for Rhodes to continue on with his on-camera role with James Storm and Chris Harris, as he will be working with them in their feuds as well as Harris' quest to win the NWA World Title.

Plans are constantly changing, but as of right now the plan is for Rhodes to come back for another small run with TNA in the very near future.

NWA-TNA 5/12 PPV Preview; Confirmed Matches:
- AJ Styles vs. Chris Harris for the NWA World Heavyweight Title

- Sonjay Dutt vs. Amazing Red in the second match of their 3 match series.

- Bobby Rude & Petey Williams vs. Hector Garza & Mr. Aguila

- Shane Douglas vs. Michael Shane in a "Corporal Punishment" match

- B.G. James vs. Monty Brown

- Kid Kash vs. James Storm

Plus, a huge announcement will be made. It is expected that TNA will announce the details on their upcoming TV deal with FOX Sports Net. We'll have a full report of the show late tonight.

Backstage News From SmackDown! Tapings:

As we reported yesterday, there is expected to be an announcement tonight at the SmackDown! tapings that will put Jacqueline against Chavo Guerrero for the Cruiserweight title at Judgment Day this Sunday.

We also expect several other matches to be announced for this show.

Paul Heyman is backstage at the tapings.

Thank God, I'm finally able to get on here to update. The fucking server on this site has been busy, and I couldn't get on to update. Here's the news. Hopefully normal posting on this thread will be back to normal soon. More tomorrow possibly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Officials backstage decided that they would focus more on the TNA name than the NWA name.

As it has been reported over the past week, TNA is going to use a six sided ring for their new show, Impact, which will be airing on the Fox Sports Network on a weekly basis starting in June. As it stands now, they have two six sided rings and three regular sided rings.

Bad Blood News, Possible RAW *SPOILER*, Mark Jindrak; More:

Mark Jindrak had his bursa sack (elbow) swell up and needed it drained, although he hasn't missed any time from it.

As of right now, the 6/13 RAW Bad Blood PPV in Columbus, OH will be headlined by a Hell in a Cell match between HHH and Shawn Michaels. Other than that, there is no official word on the rest of the card. Recent rumors have been stating that Chris Benoit would defend the title against Kane (as advertised in a local ad for the PPV), but from what I've heard there has been no confirmation on that. A couple of names that I've heard tossed around are Kane, Chris Jericho, Christian, and Randy Orton, but Orton can be ruled out due to his current programs with Edge and Benjamin (most likely leading in to the PPV).

So as far as I know, the rumored card right now is HHH vs. Michaels, Benoit vs. Kane/Jericho/Christian (one of them), and Orton vs. Benjamin. I'll keep you posted.

Ric Flair's Upcoming Book, Goldberg, Foley, Much More:

Ric Flair was very dissappointed in his upcoming book so he is in the process of having it rewritten.

The Ultimate Warrior (Jim Hellwig) is in the works of planning a retirement show for the former WWE superstar, Jake "The Snake" Roberts in England.

Bill Goldberg will be on the cover of "Hardcore Muscle" magazine in June.

Kevin Nash will be making an appearance in Dublin, CA for an autograph signing at Who's On First? Wrestling-Gaming-Sports from 1PM - 3PM on May 22, 2004.

Speaking of autograph signing sessions, Mick Foley will be at the Cedar Rapids River Raiders Minor League Basketball game on June 3, 2004 in Marion, IA.

Huge Rock Update, Austin, Goldberg, Ultimo Dragon; More:

Ultimo Dragon and Sean O'Haire were both said to have put on disappointing performances at New Japan Pro Wrestling's Tokyo Dome show earlier this month.

Someone who saw a test screening of "Be Cool" (an upcoming Rock film) said Rock was very good in the movie. He plays a gay bodyguard and was "mature funny" as opposed to "child funny" like he is in wrestling and was on Saturday Night Live. Nash is doing well in Hollywood as far as people talking about him in a positive light, because he knows how to charm people.

Speaking of Rock, he is currently taking a vacation until he starts work on "Spy Hunter" this summer. John Woo is about to sign on as director, but it's not finalized. His WWE contract expires at the end of the summer. No word on whether he will sign a new deal or not, but he told several people that he has no interest in any start-up federation even though he's friendly with Austin and Goldberg.

Wild WWE Storyline Spoiler, Trish Stratus 'Blow Me'; More:

The Trish Stratus "Blow Me" t-shirts are available in the U.K.

As of right now the plan is for Booker T to be repackaged after Judgement Day, as an outlandish reprise of the old Papa Shango character. The company also has some wilder storylines planned for many of their current characters, as well.

It seems as though WWE is going in a direction of modeling some of their newer characters on previous stars that have gotten over well. Examples of this are Mordecai (early Undertaker), Tyson Tomko (early Kevin Nash as Diesel), Rene Dupree (Rick Martel), and Eugene.

Grand Master Sexay's Replacement In The Battle Royal:

As you all know, Brian "Grand Master Sexay" Lawler was fired from WWE, once again. He was scheduled to take part in next week's 20 man battle royal to determine the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title at Bad Blood. Since his departure, we've been awaiting to hear who is replacement would be in the battle royal. If you go to WWE.com they have the complete list of contenders for the battle royal, Lawler's name has been removed and Maven's has taken his place.

Paul Heyman/Smackdown News, ECW's Return In The Works:

A correction from something that was posted yesterday, Paul Heyman actually was not backstage at the Smackdown tapings last night in Reno. At this time, sources are saying that Heyman is not scheduled to appear on this weekend's Judgment Day PPV either.

As of right now the plan for Heyman long-term is that he will most likely establish a "renegade" group loaded up of ex-ECW talent, that will break away from the WWE name. The group may, or may not, be labeled "ECW".

Just so everyone knows, "Be Cool" is the sequel to "Get Shorty" with John Travolta. Eventhough The Rock is in the film, it's not his movie. I hope he comes off good in it cause he needs a good role where his acting overshadows his physical attributes.

On to the PPV. I think it'll be alright. I'm not expecting too much since WWE has been able to screw up PPV's in the past. I do hope that the Leyfield/Eddie match is good. The Taker/Booker math is on e that I'm looking foward to. Mostly, I just wanna see Taker have his way with Booker, although I hope it's a good match where Booker comes off well in his loss.

...And what happened to the "Official" tag in the subject line? LOL! Guess it's not to encourage other from following suit with all the "Offical" threads. Definately a good idea!!! Maybe the WWE title match will be entertaining, but I dont think JBL can hold up a good match. Guess we'll just have to wait.

Undertaker beat Booker T. Not much of a surprise there. Was the match any good?

Yea it was pretty good. Mordecai was pretty cool. His finishing move is The Razors Edge. The match between Torrie and Dawn Marie was cool. Near the end Torrie ripped Dawn's pants so we could see her ass. At first i thought she didnt have any panties on but she did, these very tiny flesh colored thongs, basically nothing tho. So the rest of the match she wrestled with her ass showing, it was beautiful. Cant wait to see it again on the replay ;) BUT OMG what a cut job by Eddie! He must have bled non-stop for 20 mins. He never stopped bleeding after the chairshot by JBL. It was the best cut i have ever seen. Even better than that one Austin did a few years back and better than the one Michaels did a few months back. It was worth my 35 bucks just to see that cut. The match ended with JBL winning by DQ but the fight after the match was over was better than the actual match.

Yeah, it's been a shitty week to post on this board. Now that E3 is over, hopefully the mods will get this site running back on track.

Anywhoo, Judgement Day was an ok PPV, not one of the years best, but not bad. Eddie's blading skills need some work, he needs to go to Rick Flair's school of blading to learn the proper way it's done. You can almost tell that was his first blade job, LOL!! Mordeci was ok, not great. Can't wait to see what him and Taker will do if they are matched up. Speaking of Taker, he killed Booker T, as if there was any doubt! All in all, not a great show, but still worth watching.

BTW, DrFatality, I don't really like the Legends franchise, but I'll try to get a review in, unless someone beats me to it. I will review Smackdown vs. Raw when it's released.smile

Eddie Hospitalized, Konnan & HHH Backstage At PPV; More:

Konnan was backstage at Judgment Day last night. No word on whether WWE has hired him yet or not, though recently there have been several rumors of Konnan's possible WWE debut coming soon.

Eddie Guerrero was taken to the hospital last night following his match with Bradshaw. From what I've heard, there are no problems with Eddie, and he was taken just as a precaution due to his massive blood loss in the match last night.

Triple H was backstage at the PPV last night rather than being with the RAW brand at house shows over the weekend. The feeling backstage is that once Vince McMahon steps down from the company, it will be run by Triple H and Stephanie.(TheMkGeek says: Oh dear God NO, not those 2 idiots!)

New WWE Diva To Do Playboy, Lesnar Back On TV, Booker T; More:

ESPN will cover Brock Lesnar's NFL workout that takes place tomorrow. Not sure when anything will air but I would expect ESPNEWS to do a segment on it sometime during the day on Tuesday or Wednesday.

WWE officials have told Booker T not to use the spinaroonie at house shows any longer, due to the babyface reaction that it receives.

New WWE diva Hiroko (Kenzo Suzuki's wife), debuting on Smackdown very soon, is said to be interested in posing for Playboy. She has already been talking about wanting to do a photo spread for the magazine.

Hulk Hogan & Steve Austin's WWE Returns, Goldberg, Eugene; More:

Eugene will be playing the role of a simple man whose Rainman strength make him pick up technical wrestling and submissions at an incredible speed and pace, as shown in his vignette with William Regal a few weeks back and more recently his debut match against Rob Conway. Many backstage like the way that the Eugene angle is turning out, and he seems to be getting over big with the live crowd.

Steve Austin and Goldberg were interviewed during halftime of the Lakers vs. Spurs playoff Game 4 last week. Goldberg noted that he is done with WWE for good, and that Vince McMahon could "kiss his tuckus." When Austin was asked the same question he came off a bit lighter and said to never say never. He also mentioned that WWE still owns the rights to the "Stone Cold" name, and that he might return to the WWE some day.

As of right now there is absolutely no talk going around concerning Hulk Hogan returning to WWE anytime in the near future. The latest Hogan news is that he hosted a favorite videos show on VH1 last night, playing his favorites from Van Halen, Guns 'n' Roses, and more.

Eddie Guerrero Special, Dreamer/WWE, Ric Flair, Hebner:

-Ric Flair's new autobiography has been pushed back to the release date of July 6th.

-Earl Hebner hopes to return to the WWE around SummerSlam after being out of action because of shoulder surgery.

-Eddie Guerrero will be featured in a UPN special at 9 p.m. May 26 titled “Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story.”

-Tommy Dreamer may be kept on with the WWE as a manager or may even appear as a host on one of their many shows. There have even been discussions of dreamer doing some announcing with the WWE.

Wait, you mean they dont run it right now?? wink

Seriously tho that's shitty, as the ONLY person I see running the WWE as good as Vince is Shane...Shane I think can and will carry on the legacy...HHH taking it over doesn't sound like a good idea, as apparently he's an asshole backstage..
