And Bill, I'm really considering trading in D for DOA. I really know nothing about the game, but it looks better visually and possibly gameplay-wise. Plus it's online, probably the only reason I like playing Deception, so why can't another online fighter be as/if not more fun... And not spam...

Noob Smoke is #1 on th tier list. Dairou is good but not number 1... Hell no.

Look at the shit I posted about noob smoke. He has an UNBREAKABLE infnite in the corner and a breakable infinite that can be done anywhere. I think that alone makes him number 1.

besides sindels fu jow pai is the counter for noob if he gets close to her just b+2 him...

oh and im not saying that noob smoke is bad.. they r good.. i felt they r better then sindel cuse i played this 1 guy on ps2 online his name is deeks.. he plays a awesome noob smoke.. beat me 5x's but the fights were close extreamly close.. normally it takes me about 5 matches vs elite players w/ their top character to figure out a way to beat them... he quit after the fifth match.. he got scared lol..

on ps2 i am tom brady as my main name. i use mkl and 012 only to practice or catch someone who is a bitch and runs from the tom brady name. i created a new name also. the-babe is my newest name. its like 17-3 and rank 60 lol. now those r quality wins.

Darrius owns. Spam d,f+3 over and over until they're conditioned to block low, then switch to Gauntlets and use 3, which hits mid AND launches. Wait until they're conditioned to blocking high again, then repeat. b,f+1 can be used for punishing projectile whores, though not safe against a lot of melee attacks. I use b,f+1 to get close, so I can spam d,f+3 all over.

Anyway. Konqrr, you never got the PM reply? I sent it about a week ago. If you did not get it, this place's new PM system/code/whatever is shit.

Christ, this game is broken. It's probably the fighting game with the fastest found broken shit history. MKDA was less broken, and more enjoyable, gameplay wise. This is just way too broken.

Do Ermac and Kabal have infinite combos?I was messing with both of them and couldn't figure out anything that hasn't been already posted.Kabal's Spin can only be done once in juggles I believe while Ermac's TS a little bit more,but still nothing that can lead to an infinite.

I seriously can’t see how Jade is ranked so high. I love her, she is one of my faves, but I don’t see anything that great about her gameplay.

Sindel is indeed a deadly bitch! I play better with her character then I do with Jade. Mileena is NOT low at all!!!! She may not be among the top 5 or 10, but she is definitely deadly if used well.

I agree with the others though, Dariou and Bo are the best. Scorpion is also good in this game.

I would like to know if there has been any “modifications” in the latest tier list.

I think Nightwolf and Kobra are really powerful, top tier. And how can Kabal be rated so low in your list Vers???? I definitely don’t think he is that bad!

Hey, couple questions for you guys..

Am I mistaken or can't someone duck under a throw? Scoot is talking about ticking into a throw(d+1 w/ N-S) being an infinite and throws being free after a jump kick(which can be blocked low, sadly).

Also, I saw some combo vids where special moves were being cancelled from unfinished strings. I've been trying this(112 xx d, b, 4 w/ li mei, right?) but the special never comes out.

How do you grab ahold of arena weapons? Is it worth doing?

And lastly, do you take extra damage with your weapon out, like in MKDA? Can't tell lol

1. You can't cancel strings, Li Mei just recovers very quickly from 112. Timing is all that is necessary.

2. Yes, 25% more damage just like MKDA.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you throw your opponent while they are against a wall you can land a d+2 in Mugai Ryu before they land.

The trick to pulling this one off is waiting a split second after the initial popup then tap 3.

So none of you know what I'm talking about with this rolling to the side as your characters get up move? Note this is not as you fall from the air and hit the ground, but as your grounded character gets up, he rolls to the side.

You can crouch throws but with noob smoke when you do a D+1 with smoke they are stunned long enough to land a throw and the other guy cannot duck in time no matter what. The only way to get out of it is to dash back. If you do it when the guy is in the corner he cannot dash back or anything so you cannot get out of it, not even with breakers. So basiacally if you have them cornerd all you do is D+1 then throw postittion so the guy is facing the corner and repeat. Very easy shit.

His other infinite is breakable but it works anywhere. Just land one throw back up about a step or 2 and jumpkick when they are about to land. right after the jump kick follow up with a throw. The jumpkick can be broken but it's a great way to get the other guy to waist all his breakers because he has to use them.

The stun from the D+1 and the jump kick does not allow you to crouch.

have u ever played a good sindel player? cuse if u try that shit vs her all that player has to do is back +2 in her fjp style.. yeah he'll hit her, but she'll hit him also and throw him all the way accross screen.. infinite................... OVER!!

all characters can get some kind of guaranteed damage off throws but some r only guaranteed in corners. take darrius. in the corner just throw then jump kick then gauntlett 12 then d2. 65% all guaranteed off a throw in the corner. noob has a 52% combo off a throw in the corner then 214, d2. tanya has throw(weapon stance) b2 f4, d2 for 60%. this game is way toooooo broke for me even.
