big thanks to flameshang for the sig.
We got a name for the bug lady?
I've seen bug girl, queen bee, ladybug and bug lady lol
It's weird that it bothers me but yeah Scorpion having a fireball seems..wrong
Hope it's one of those early build things that get phased out/given to someone else. But Sub-Zero throwing the Ice Clone is just great.
Also I like the Forest stage..it's quiet and gloomy.
Are there screaming trees? No. But it's nice to have a forest stage that doesn't have to adhere to that rule.
And there is a strange structure in the back if I recall..
You think the fireball is strange? What about Scorpion turning into M. Bison at 1:38? Ha ha....love it though. Very fitting move for him.
Yeah i noticed the bison move too when i first saw it lol. looks kool though.
Forgive me if someone else already said this, but does anything that ship in the background might be the Nethership?
That would make sense. Which got me to thinking...maybe they'll bring back some other stages from the 3D games and redo them.
Also on that same thought, given the possibility of multi-tiered stages, it would be cool if the characters could knock each other from the dock into the ship itself and then fight in the ship.
Yeah does Spike/Every voice/Wolverine but he's also the same guy who did Rocksteady Killer Croc who also did Guilmon from Digimon.

Nintendo is comprised of three Japanese words. Nin, Ten, Dou, and when combined it means we kicked the holy shit outta Atari.
I for one cannot wait, however what I am hoping for is not a Soul Calibur 5 situation where most characters are gone and we get all these new ones. I think there needs to be a fine balance between characters from MK9, returning characters we didn't see in MK9 and brand new original characters.
You just made me think of a possible justification for the bizarre shift in tone as well as an explanation for Boon's comment here:
RT @timbo869 @noobde will the story in mortal kombat X Kontinue from mk9 or be a new original story EB: Sort of BOTH.. hard 2 explain.
— Ed Boon (@noobde) June 3, 2014What if this is the distant past? Some timey wimey mumbo jumbo that brings us to what Outworld was like before Shao Kahn. Hell, before the Mortal Kombat tournament even existed.

Would explain Scorp and Subbie's Legacy-inspired looks
Gameplay and graphics look real good. Can't wait to see more!

NO
I'm sick of going backwards. We went far back enough in MK9, it's about time we make progress going forward. We've been stuck in the storyline for about a damn decade now.
I love the voice, personality, and vibe I get from Wasp-Gal just from her little intro animation. Look at her face when she says exterminate, her head motions and all. She has my curiosity. This vile being.
Brute character looks all right but that is just because I don't care for bulky fighters.
The 3rd character has potential that is for sure, interesting.
My only gripe was seeing Sub use daggers simply because Frost used them in DA. I never took Sub-zero for a dagger guy? Hm.
Looking forward to seeing what this game is all about.

I was thinking the same thing, I was waiting for Ladybug (what I'm calling her until we get her official name) to be thrown through the hull of the ship.
These new characters>Some or most of the 3D MK characters
Though I'm trying to like Ladybug and the Duo, they're still miles ahead of Mavado, Hsu Hao, Darrius, Jarek, Kobra and Meat. *shudders*

Remember, the reason he was powerful enough to create ice swords in MKDA was because of the Dragon Medallion.

Exactly.
Just with the presence of those two characters and the 'Nethership' stage...I get the feeling we'll be seeing some of the much darker parts of Outworld this time. Thank freaking god.
Also, Aztec guy's not just a god, his MK9 appearance in that Raiden vignette means he's an ELDER god.
Shit is now WELL and truly fucked up if they're getting personally involved.
:D
If it tastes like chicken, keep on lickin'. If it smells like trout, then get the f*** out!

I've been a little baffled about that tweet myself. Hopefully its not another time traveling story, though it wouldn't surprise me if they go even further back in time (like you said before Shao Kahn and even Onaga) maybe it'll be about the war between the Elder Gods that Raiden talked about in MK4 when Shinnok was first banished.
It could be a storyline about how chaotic everything becomes after everyone dies in MK9, it alters the history we all know so who knows. Since Shao Kahn, his minions, and the heroes are all dead maybe a bunch of Netherealm creatures come about or Elder Gods come down to stop all the chaos.
