Why even bother with the rebooted timeline if they were just going to go ahead with the post Armageddon plan they had back in 06?

Cassie Cage, a character related to Shao Kahn, story taking place over 25 years... I am loving how new and fresh this all seems. This is what MK needs, not the same old shit.

Love the new yellow scary bug lady! The blue guy is interesting and I think the big guy with the lil imp/kid might be a challenge to fight.

Someone mentioned this might be the next step after Armageddon which it could be. Maybe every other game will go with one storyline of another.

Maybe we will get both timelines in this game and we are only seeing one.

We don't know anything yet so I'm not making judgements.

I will be a little annoyed if we get no mention of MK9 ending and what happened.

Still - This game will be a blast!

Of all the new characters, I'm digging Kotal Kahn the most. He has a very interesting design...like a cross between Shao Kahn's asian style armor, and a more Greek or Spartan like feel.

D'Vorah looks interesting as well. Her fatality was well done and delightfully bloody. I wonder who the main baddie will be...Ed said its a "surprise returning character" who no one will expect.

I always wait and buy games when they're half price. MK however always has me counting the days with anticipation. MK9 is my favourite game of all time, and this trailer looks like they haven't messed too much with what I loved from that last game. Add better graphics, new characters, sick fatalities, sweet environments... I need a calendar to start X out the days.

Also, I finally have a good reason to upgrade to 1080p and get a next gen console.
