Hope it's one of those early build things that get phased out/given to someone else. But Sub-Zero throwing the Ice Clone is just great.

Also I like the Forest stage..it's quiet and gloomy.

Are there screaming trees? No. But it's nice to have a forest stage that doesn't have to adhere to that rule.

And there is a strange structure in the back if I recall..

MasterBlaster is a pair of characters in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. As you can imagine, they're a midget named Master who rides a dude named Blaster.

Mola Ram is the badguy from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Sounded like Steve Blum to me.

I think im in the minority in liking that kid character most. When he/she said "MY TURRNN" I was cracking up laughing and played it over like 10 times.

The insect lady was pretty cool as well. Tho like a few others I think shes merely a counter character to Sadira from KI (not that its a bad thing at all, It'll be really nice to get that MK/KI competition going again).

Im not too sure what to think of the 3rd new character as theres not enough to base him off of, I'm guessing his fatality is just a deep cut into the chest pull out heart and squeeze

Seeing some of them in mulitple costumes makes me wonder if we will get 2 or 3 different costumes at the start. which would be nice as well.

Lastly the fatalities...HOLY SHIT! they were great, and so detailed!!!! To the fact you can see the bone marrow! He'res to hoping we get alot of very unique ones. I dont want to see a single stand-alone decap lol

I'm loving what I see so far. The new characters are right up my alley, completely fresh and unlike anything we've seen in the series so far. I love change and progression. This game looks like it's going to deviate from the plot of MK4 and every game that came after it, which is great imo. I also have a feeling we won't see (maybe ever) most of the characters from the PS2/Xbox era.

A few things that stuck out for me in the trailer were 1) Wasp Lady petting the grub before she fought Master Blaster. It's a cool added touch that adds to her personality. 2) Scorpion summoning a NetherRealm demon to hold Sub-Zero's legs to hold him in place for an attack. Simply brilliant and SO Scorpion! 3) This is obviously just a guess, but I think the third character (blue Aztec warrior) is a god, maybe even an elder god. He looks so menacing and powerful, I just got that vibe.

Can't wait to hear more details over the rest of E3. So happy to be stoked and talking about a new game in the franchise with the rest of my MK brethren!

Aww I hope not. Every time I hear him in something, it's distracting as fuck 'cause I just keep picturing Spike from Cowboy Bebop or, if he's playing it growly, Wolverine from every X-Men thing for the past like 15 years.

My favorite thing about the VAs in MK9 is I didn't recognize any of them from something else, so their characters were just those characters.

Raiden is Batou from Ghost in the Shell.

It's just that thinking of him as Raiden now supercedes thinking of him as Batou because MK9 Raiden is the dumbest fictional character in the history of fiction and you don't forget a thing like that.
