Watch out he may think he has become cannon fodder oops I mean cannon folder, from all of this attacking he is receiving. I don't see the big deal and I don't view any character as really a waste of space. And who is to say what a true fan is? Story or not fans can just love the fighting in the game and have been loyal from the very first MK, I love both the story and the gameplay. A true fan is someone who buys the video game for their entertainment IMHO. And someone can't use the same defense as "oh it's only people from Facebook or certain characters fans" repeatedly after being shown otherwise or so I would assume. Drop the whole omg don't ruin my game with putting this filth in. Each character has some right to be in the game and some chance of redemption no matter who hates the characters (even my own opinion of characters clashes with this argument so it may be hypocritical just my thoughts)

So no, I don't think having her parents will render Cassie a pointless character.

And I seriously hope that Sonya has similarities to Big Mama. I mentioned that before, it would so suit her well.

Didn't I say that myself? Uhmmm duh I suffer from that.
Everything in that little link is what i'm suffering from everyday, except for relationships with offline friends,. And my boyfriend and I are together like 8 years and he still isn't crazy, so that part in that link isn't true for me.

I'm getting tired of myself often, but this disorder is here to stay anyway, sometimes and with some people it is gone completely, with others (jaded/charybdis/icebaby) it gets worse, much worse.

And blablabla, thanks for helping me offtopic AGAIN. But it wasn't me who posted that link.

I would acutally like to see old badass Sonya kick some ass, as long it doesn't prevent Cassie from being her own character. She shouldn't be Sonya 2.0 (or Johnny 2.0 for that matter), and so far from what we've seen of her gameplay, she isn't.

Cassie is as much Sonya as Kitana is Sindel.

... which means she isn't, to those who didn't catch that.

Because a few rotten appels help me to express my narcisstic feelings, isn't a reason I stay away, there are some people I really enjoy reading things from. And mostly those people don't give me attention, they just reply to my normal/good posts and leave my blattering rant alone, unlike some that love to see me mad it seems.

You know, with word saying they're aging, I find that to be absolutely fascinating.

It's a bit tiresome to see how everyone appears to not be aging while only a few characters have, i.e. Shang Tsung, Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang).

I mean, if it's true that Sonya and Johnny are aging, that would be by far one of the coolest things to see because we're not stuck in this ageless world anymore.

Though... is it wrong for me to see Johnny make fun of his old self? Like, maybe as a victory pose or something, he moves and he cracks his back or something? Just to keep the humor there while also throwing in the whole, he's getting old thing?

I also wonder if the good guys will become bad and visa versa because this is all speculative. What if Kano became some kind of Informant Sonya couldn't take it an went against the law. I know it's a big stretch but then and maybe I've watched too much batman with the "Die a hero or live long enough to become a villain". I just wonder how they would tackle it. I'm quite excited to see where people's loyalties lie.

His personality annoys me, his looks are plain and boring in all the games, I don't like his moves or his gameplay overall in any of the games either... Even the Shadow Kick that Jade got as well - I would rather Jade got her own unique kick move, though it was rather different in MK9 and she could do two right after one another which Johnny couldn't, so Jade's is vastly superiour, in my opinion.

... No, I just really don't like Johnny. I don't hate him, but I'd rather he wasn't there.

I hope Cassie's participation doesn't rely on her parents' death. It should be something different, but if Sonya and/or Johnny are to be killed in this game, it should happen much later.

But...

If they are indeed playable, and Cassie is indeed participating because of her parents' death, then we should get the opportunity to see it happen. If Sonya and Johnny are to be playable characters, then they need to have the first and second chapters, showing what happened after 2011's events, the birth of Cassie and training her, and their death. They could easily pull all of that off in two chapters.

It should definitely not be a heard but not seen thing with them.
