His personality annoys me, his looks are plain and boring in all the games, I don't like his moves or his gameplay overall in any of the games either... I hope Cassie's participation doesn't rely on her parents' death. It should be something different, but if Sonya and/or Johnny are to be killed in this game, it should happen much later.

But...

If they are indeed playable, and Cassie is indeed participating because of her parents' death, then we should get the opportunity to see it happen. If Sonya and Johnny are to be playable characters, then they need to have the first and second chapters, showing what happened after 2011's events, the birth of Cassie and training her, and their death. They could easily pull all of that off in two chapters.

It should definitely not be a heard but not seen thing with them.


Yeah I'm hoping that if her parents die that its not her only reason for fighting. I'm hoping they Johnny/Sonya raise her to have a responsibility to protect Earthrealm.

I have no doubt that if they die, we'll see it.

I mean, the death course would make it too easy, obviously.

But considering the new story, that seems to be their specialty atm.

Hi, the beauty Icebaby. The question is, why does Sonya want to have a baby? Is she going to simply go housewife mode 24 7? Isn't she the type of person that will probably still stay in the game for as long as she can? My theory...maybe Sonya made her own decision living life her own away and she wanted to retire from the Special Forces so that can lead a life of her own, she would like to become a mother.

I'm still hoping to see Johnny Cage try and talk to Cassie about sex education and puberty, Sonya being a strict parent in a funny way. Lol.

Hello! Your last statement...That... would be hysterical, and it definitely wouldn't hurt to have a scene like that.

The thing that questions me as well as why Sonya and Johnny decided to have a kid. Was it... tension rose between them during one moment in life where romance blossomed? A fight that turned sexual? That is... probably the biggest question that needs answering. All the fan fiction in the world that pins these two could try, but it needs an answer. Hopefully, GamesCom could enlighten us somehow with a story?

Would it be bad to have some questions about the story be answered finally? I don't think so, and I'm sure a lot of others think so too.

Not really. I only made a lot today. What I wrote in the satirical post was banal.

Do you honestly think I believe that Sonya began a relationship with Johnny Cage because he is the last man on Earth(even though he is not)? Or the fact that I do not know people get together to have children? Or the time that Sonya and Johnny would lead to them having deeper feelings for each other?

The post was designed to highlight the complete disregard at how Sonya and Johnny Cage got together even though it is obvious as to why Johnny Cage and Sonya got in a relationship.

I don't think Johnny & Sonya will be playable.

Instead, they'll be as cameos but as older.

In fact, in story mode, they should have Cassie having flashbacks of times with her family. As they were training her. Of course, she'll see their parents arguing with Raiden about making her a defender of Earthrealm as shadows.
