Days not over yet, guys. Just because he's acknowledging the press release doesn't mean there's no trailer. The first pack's trailer dropped late in the day, if you'll remember.

I'm hoping for a "...and here's the announcement trailer" tweet. It just looks unlikely. I'm thinking they would have launched the trailer with the press release if there was one.
Edit : I understand that the KP2 had not been officially announced and that announcing new DLC is indeed a big news... but in this day and age you can't just hype something so much without having anything to show.

I just funny the idea of just one new arena... I don't know how long it takes to make one, so I won't complain about it... I just find funny to read "1 new environment". Hope the newbies get more skins this time too.

Think about it logically. Why would he then have revealed the exact same picture last night spoiling the news? That picture pretty much cemented DLC is coming, so why post "Yesterday?" along with it if that pic gives it away?

It just doesn't make any logical sense if the surprise is already spoiled.

I cut Boon and NRS a lot of slack, but multiple teases to an announcement of an announcement of an announcement....

I am having a hard time believing this is what we've been waiting for but if it is that's pretty shitty.

They said we'd get some big news and posted a press release of new DLC coming.

It's entirely possible that this is indeed all they wanted to share today and that we were just stuck into overhype by Boon.

We might be wrong for thinking there's a chance there won't be anything else today, but it's also wrong to assume there's definitely something else coming.

It's not negativity, we're just thinking out loud.

All im looking forward to right now is SF5 and Fallout 4.

It would be a wink with how Noob Saibot's alt in MK9 was just Bi-Han's Sub-Zero costume in black... and NRS hasn't been shy to retexture costumes in MKX, as seen by Empress and Tournament Mileena having the exact same body with a different color.

I am gonna buy Fallout4 no matter what but the voiced character is horrible imo.

It's not the wait that bothers me, it's that we don't know who's in the pack. It would really suck if we had to wait months just to find out what's in the pack.

So todays big announcement is........DISAPPOINTMENT! Seriously, I could have told you we were getting 4 characters, a stage, and skins. Everyone was expecting this much. Boon hyped us up last night with that picture only to snub us again. Terrible marketing strategy at this point.

It's been terrible marketing strategy when it comes to characters ever since June 2014, so I'm not surprised.

Really? Boons been teasing a new pit arena we might not even get till next June? What the fuck are they even doing? Mortal Kombat is their only IP. (Don't say "Injustice 2" because WB would have announced that about a year before it actually goes into development. It's their way.)

I'm sure we'll get all this before next June. Probably starting in January.

But idk, it is still early in the day, KP1 trailer dropped randomly at night, like 9pm my time- I remember it like it was yesterday as I had just finished watching the series finale of my favorite show and was on an emotional high from that- then I go immediately to facebook and saw the KP1 trailer was just dropped- talk about a crazy night lmao.


But then again I don't know if they'll want to reveal all four characters this early if they are really waiting for 2016. I mean they announced KP1 like two months before Jason was released, this at the least is like 4-5 months before January. Then you think about all the flack(which was rightfully so) that Tanya got when her model was shown super early and they just might want to wait until closer to 2016 to reveal them(not that I want that at all, I want to see them NOW).
