Yeah but the KP1 video felt more like a last-minute job before Microsoft spoiled it all.

Well that is definitely a long ways off....... While this does give others that were maybe planning on buying the last-gen version time to upgrade for the holidays, it does suck that the wait could be anywhere from 4-6 months basically.

However, at least we now know we're getting more skins which likely means maybe skins for the newbies as well as the additions from KP1, hopefully. And as for The Pit, well, I'm assuming there will be two variations of it so that's at least something.

I'd bet money we get a trailer revealing the four today, it'll just be super early looks at their models like with the KP1 reveal.

I wish they would make Baraka sindel and rain to hold us over for the 4 new characters they would get done faster but doubt that would happen.

I still think they should have pulled the X-Rays and Fatalities from MK9 too and just release them without variations. I would have been fine with that. Hell, that should be the Encore pack to tide us over until KP2.

let's see how they fuck this up by catering to everyone but MK fans. Incoming Ash and Spawn announcements... Or just be the good old lazy MK team we have known for the past two decades.

So after taking a close look at the shadows, here are my guesses:

#1 Smoke, because the general shape looks to similar

#2 I'm leaning towards Sindel, MAYBE Frost, however the bottom portion of the shadow looks a bit bulky for their slim figures. Though that could mean anything.

#3 At first I thought it was Cyrax, but looking at it, the head is a bit misshapen, and it looks like I see a couple of strands of hair as well. Probably Fujin.

#4 Bo'Rai'Cho, dead giveaway from the shirt outline, and the face scruff.

Here's hoping for KP1 skins. I need that Deception Tanya skin pronto.

I'm betting none of the fightable/playable characters from story mode are in this. Not worthy of a big reveal IMO.

However, I still expect we will get Sindel, Baraka & Rain before it's all said and done. Even before the KP2 is released. They have only $$$ to gain by doing this or of course, a nice FREE service to the loyal fans being that they are already in the game technically.

I hope the KP2 is all MK characters this time. 2 guests is more than enough.

I'm sure we'll probably see them too. Though if Sindel is released she better have an updated look- the yellow eyes and fishnets they gave her in story mode does not a new outfit make, truly design her into a stunning queen of hell!

That takes all the fun out of speculating though. lol

Let's also not forget what they did with the character select screen silhouettes back in the day just to throw us off. It's a waste of time to try and guess who these are based off their contour because it's likely a troll move on Boons part.
