Its a lot more work to animate... I think thats why. In this one they wanted to avoid it looking funky like it did in MK9. sindel's and kitana's looked ehhh. Jade was the only one who pulled the long do.

This is why I don't really mind them giving her original backstabbing MK4 role to D'Vora. This allows Tanya in this new timeline to be about something different. Her trying to free Edenia is interesting. I just hope NRS have more plans for that in store and that it wasn't JUST the shock value element of why they had D'Vora become the traitor and not Tanya. A fresh path Tanya has now.

Gotta wait for her ladder ending to find out what she really wants. Like someone said. Maybe she is a spy.

There's a lot of bitching on Twitter to Ed about Tanya, mostly about her having lighter skin, and taking the place of 'better' characters like Noob, Cyrax etc

They wouldn't decide to pull her from the game and replace her with Noob or something just to please the masses would they? lol. I'm not gonna be happy until she's safe and downloaded in my game.

And why don't those idiots go after fucking Tremor? Last I checked Tanya at least had a pretty significant role in story mode which makes her a sensible DLC choice. Tremor? Dude doesn't even cameo in story mode. Hell, before now dude wasn't even officially apart of the MK fighting game roster. Yet they want to target Tanya? Fuck that.

The MK team likes Tanya, Ed Boon likes this kharakter, Tanya is a 3D era kharakter, she is a female, she is flawless, she is immortal, she's been requested since before the release of MK9 several years ago.

This is why Noob Saibot is not replacing Tanya in a million years :
He was already playable in the last game MK9, he would just be another male kharakter on top of 785367347 other male kharakters we already have in MKX, he is a fugly canon-palette-swap, zombie version of Sub-Zero. Hsu Hao is more epik than him.

It's not rocket science.

Tanya is extremely foking epik as fok in MKX and everyone will learn to deal with it.

Tanya will kick everyone's favorite kharakter in the face, with her solid gold boots. Let's make that klear.

So I guess since this is her look in story mode, her DLC release won't be any different (as a lot of people kept claiming). As much as I haved liked Tanya in past games, I can't see myself paying five bucks for this design. Nothing about it says Tanya to me.

First the problem before was how bad she looked graphics wise which improves. Second there is a things that are Tanya. Her bangs her sash her colors her strong facial features her personality not to mention her variations will have different looks like her weapons. Also I'm sorry but people are stupid if they think they would take her out so late. Also every fighting game that has dlc has at least one female character. Another thing is she deserves this spot being in the story. People would also go crazy if they added another mk 9 character over a "3d" one.

I've concluded that there is no point in debating people who defend this new look. Also, based on your response, I'm not even sure you read my post. All I'm saying is I'm definitely not going to pay extra for her like this. Maybe if they make it alt where she actually looks like herself...

I think u didn't read my post. The only thing u care about is her skin color which is not all Tanya has to offer.

The thing is that all of the Mortal Kombat kharakters always get drastik, huge makeovers. Some more than others. It's not just Tanya.

For example, Jax and Johnny Cage are two kharakters that always look extremely different in every game... their face, their skin kolor, everything... Jax in particular has had every shade of brown, tan and beige that you can think of, literally the rainbow... personally, I am oblivious to this, I don't care.

I think every kharakter in MKX looks better than they ever did before. The polygons are more realistik, the kharakters look less cartoony, it's great. Personally, I just wish the females were just a tiny bit taller, that is literally the only single tiny irrelevant flaw. lol Everything else is flawless.

If anybody is suddenly not a fan of Tanya anymore because she appears a tiny bit lighter than before... then I'm going to assume they were never a fan of Tanya to begin with.

I mean, if anyone is a true Mortal Kombat fan.... then they'll know that Tanya is a MAGIKAL EDENIAN ALIEN WITCH that can do whatever the fok she wants with her own skin kolor and outfit kolor and hair kolor and etc, with or without your approval or validation.

Everyone should stop going all up in arms about Tanya. Everyone should relax and chill and stop worrying about what Ed Boon chooses to do with his own kharakters and how he chooses to kolor his polygons on the komputer.
