What role would you like for our yellow girl Tanya?

What connections with other characters would you like?

Would you like her to be a traitor still or do you want her to evolve into something more?

DO you want her to have an important role or a minion role of someone else? And who would that other someone be? Quan Chi? SHinnok? Reiko? Rain?

I'm curious what you would like for my girl!

She can use her boomerangs for an interesting fatality.

It was never really explained how she could become Invisible.

I would love Tanya to have powers over illusions, it just suits her sneaky, traitorous and silent nature.

I definitely want her in the game, but surprise me with her story. I don't have any expectations in that regard. I did like her boomerang in MK4, I thought it was the third best weapon in the game besides Fujin's crossbow and Sub-Zero's ice scepter, so it would be great if it was brought back. Good opportunities with the boomerang for fatalities as well.

When she is in the game I really hope her Fatalities aren't as boring as in MK:Deception!

Her kiss of death in MK4 is my favorite fatality of all times, I just love that bone-breaking horror and the sounds it makes!

Boomerang fatalities isn't something I would like to see at all, I didn't liked the Jade fatality in MK9 at all..

I hope to see that kiss fatality + a fatality of her doing something with backstabbing, that really suits her nature and behavior.

Tanya will be in. I have no doubt. She was the most requested in MK 9 DLC. Always liked her tbh.

I kind of hated her after seeing her MK4 ending. But now I'm curious to see what she brings to the next game, assuming she made the cut.

I want to see interactions between all the Edenian women. I would also like to see what Tanya was doing the whole time Edenia was taken over by Outworld.
Also, the kiss fatality is okay. It's kind of a rip off of Kitana's. I would rather see Kitana with it, since it's originally hers.

But Kitana kept the square wave punch (ripped off from Sonya, who had it originally) so they can have Tanya keep the KOD fatality, now that they've removed it from Kitana's arsenal

Oh yeah, you're right. I always forget about that. MK was the one I played the least of, not that it wasn't great, I just always went with MK2 most of the time. NRS figured out a way for both Kitana and Sonya to have their thing in MK9 though.

I've always hated the boomerang she got in MK4/Gold. The weapons the characters used in MK4/Gold weren't canon anyways, so I hope Tanya never gets a boomerang again! I mean, WHY would Kitana have a throwing star and Mileena a katana as weapons? Makes NO sense at all!

I did like her Tonfa/Elbow Blades though. The weapons for most of the characters in MKDA-MKA made sense, unlike those in MK4/Gold. So I'd like to see those return as a Variation, like Scorpion with his swords.

Tanya was going to have her boomerang in Deception. I hope/expect it will be back in MKX.

I like how the female ninjas have their own weapon.

I haven't read through this thread so I apologize if this has been discussed already. Has anyone brought up the fact that both Jade and Tanya use a boomerang. I'm cool with them both having that. Does any have any issues with that?

Tanya has a traditional boomerang. Jade has A staff much like Raiden and some weird star that can act as a boomerang.

I actually liked Tanya's boomerang. But since Jade have something so similar maybe it's best to ax it. Idk, I REALLY liked it though.



I wish Tanya would be the next character revealed since she's so requested. Last time I couldn't really enjoy the MK 2011 hype because I was so damn worried about Rain. Will he make the cut? Ok he didn't make the cut, Will he be DLC? Ok he will be DLC, When will he be released? ect. I just couldn't relax and ride the hype train that whole year prior to release. I don't want a repeat of that with Tanya. Just show us she's in and I can relax.

But the razorrang isn't a boomerang at all, that's what made Tanya's interesting, it's the only one in the series that's the real thing.
