It's neither the right title or year, so I am iffy on it.

However, I went to IMDB myself and looked up MKX, and this is what I got for the synopsis:

After Scorpion founds out the true death of his family, a new alliance is made of Scorpion and Sub-zero.

This too seems faulty, but at least it's something different, right?

Nobody in the world but Chrome actually has a problem with "Reiko" or "Hotaru" being girl's names in Japan.

Those of us capable of enjoying fiction are content to either not care at all, or satisfied with the logic that those characters aren't Japanese, their names existing in an Earth language is coincidental.
Aaanyway, Hale's a good actress, I really like her as military characters like Shepard, or Ms. Marvel on Avengers EMH...but maaaan, she only has the one voice. She's not a good fit for Tanya. Coulda been a good Sonya though maybe...

Interesting--maybe she'll be one of the characters at E3. Does anyone know how Ed Boon likes the character? He did say 2 of his "new favorites" will be at E3. Maybe Tanya has grown on him since her Deception appearance.

Funny enough Jennifer Hale did play Sonya. It was that one animated movie, Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins.

It looked like that thing came from IMDB which isn't that accurate of a source so I'll take this info with a grain of salt. Although, I personally wouldn't mind if she does voice Tanya.

I can't wait to see what she looks like in this game. I really did enjoy her Deception outfit. And her alts in the fourth (the gray one in particular) is something I'd like to see again.

That doesn't mean there won't be more. All we know is that it will be Subby and Scorp plus two of Boon's "new favorites". Boon never said either way just how many characters will be at E3. Of course there won't be many but it could easily be 6.

I believe there were 8 characters in MK9's first E3 demo.

Not saying that's what they'll do this time, just setting precedent.

It's just that all her characters sound the same. There was no difference between her Hawkgirl and Killer Frost. It's not even a complaint or anything. Just saying.

WTF? Where did you hear Kitana is in? I hope that's not true...

Karen Strassman (who is Kitana and Mileena's voice actress in MK9) updated her resume, which included 'Mortal Kombat 2' (likely the beta name of MKX,) as being in a "supporting" role.

Thus, people assume she'll be back either as Kitana, Mileena, or both, for MKX. The "supporting" part gives hint that her character(s) will not be as prominent.
Edit: Upon re-examining her resume, I noticed that the 'Mortal Kombat 2' listing is back up (after it had disappeared for some time.)

Especially when the date says 2014...
