you're not the only one feeling that way. Alot of tanya fans and non-fans have voiced that her designed isn't up to par. While i'm glad they kept some signature things about her (the sash, the bangs, the black makeup around her eyes, and they gave her pupils back), the combination of Yellow and Purple doesn't fit but we can assume they did this cause of Dvorah :/

plus they modeled her face weird and they also took away her dark skin tone :/

And i reeeeally really hate the raggedy beads around her neck. Makes her look less elegant and her MKD look was extremely elegant imo (and it was her best look)



but as i've said before, as long as they keep her special moves, she'll still be my main/fav :D

Just remember this: DLC characters are still being worked on. I'm sure those designs are preliminarily and will look better once they finalize the product.

All my favorite kharakters are konfirmed in MKX. It's extremely official now. It's amazing.

Love Tanya, her weave looks hideous but i'll still sub-main her along with Kenshi after Sonya/Jacqui.

With Tanya getting in MKX, she has now appeared as a playable character in the same amount of MK sub series than her rival Jade!

It's actually a bit funny. I've always hated Tanya with a burning passion that could burn down 1,000 orphanages, scorch the eyes out of puppies and wreak such havoc that it causes loving grandmothers to abandon faith in the world and eat their grandchildren's toes.

Then, I see her revealed (much to my chagrin), and I gotta admit, I kinda like the design.

Then I come to find a good portion of the pro-Tanya people hate it.

There is no winning for this character with me.

I'm ecstatic to see Tanya back!! She was the one character that I wanted most, and I finally got her!

Her new look i going to take some getting used to. I do like that its very bohemian looking, which is a direction I wanted to see her go in. The beads and the eye make up are a nice touch! My only complaints are those that apply to EVERY female revealed so far....the face model, and the hair.

Tanya looked much better with long hair, and the bob cut just doesn't work well for her. Hopefully she has an alternate with a ponytail at least. Then again, it seems that Nether Realm is avoiding long hair for a reason....

Still, I am a loyal Tanya fan, and I plan on maining the hell out of her!! I can't wait to play around with her variations!

Now, if I could just get Rain, I'd be all set as far as my favorites go!
