Awesome issue! Kotal is a fucking amazing character, that killing spree was EPIC! Guess we know now why Goro is a pre-order character too. Wonder who will restore his arms or if he'll get Jax arms.

Reptile being able to group cloak is sweet ("ssurprise" lol), also how Kotal spoke to both him and D'vorah with respect was brilliant. I love this comic so much.

Hopefully Sonya and Kotal work out what happened to Cassie peacefully, I'm guessing they're posing as Shadow Priests to be able to move around Outworld more easily. I wonder who is under those cloaks, Sonya's team from previous issues or Cage, Jax and Kenshi?

wow some people here really need to have a reality check....crying because some characters died in the comic in MK the same game that had like half the cast die in the last game and come back in MKX...seriously characters are going to die some originals, some trilogy some 3D era etc it would be pretty boring if nothing of note happened so try and act like an adult this sort of behaviour is embarrassing.

There is some really good MK fans but there is some real trash as well the same ones who are such easy marks because Boon "trolls" them with his obvious jokes and hype twitter lines I hope NRS ignores 90 % of the garbage that gets posted.

This is probably some of the best story that MK has had in a long time.

I mean they REALLY went out of their way for this one. It's got better writing than some of todays movies (Yes, I just said that, and I mean it.)

Just to clear one thing up: Goro is on disc, he's in the game from day one, fully playable. The pre-order is probably to have him unlocked. That long thread of tweets by the nrs guy confirmed this and Goro is in the living towers (very low so he's not a sub-boss. Finally he has a normal slot in the select screen.

I'm going to agree with you, the story is awesome.

As for the Rain fans, I mean Rain got it pretty bad but that last panel you do hear him moaning in pain, I wouldn't consider him out of the picture as of yet. The way Kotal amputated Goro's arms was so awesome and his last exchange of words with Goro makes Kotal a personal favorite of mine now. I hope to see a lot of him in the story mode of the game.

Since we've seen Goro with all his arms back, my guess is that the way you could bring Goro and Rain back into the fold is by taking allegiance with Shang Tsung. Imagine the mighty prince Goro without his arms, he'd be considered weak and his Shokan people would toss him to the side for another warrior like let's say Kintaro? Shang Tsung is able to clone and create hybrid breeds in his flesh pits, what's not to say that he can generate limbs and what not? Goro has had over 500 years of acquaintance with Shang Tsung so I don't think it would be to far fetched if they go that route.

So keep hoping Rain fans, he may be back and after Kotal's head. But best bet DLC.
