Damn Kahn is badass. Glad he ends up taking the helm in Outworld. And for people counting out people that die in the comics, don't forget these take place somewhere in between the game. Though Rains chances were slim to begin with, him turning into a roasted marshmallow doesn't really affect them.

After seeing how Kotal Kahn took on Goro, I really don't want to see him fall in the game. This guy has great potential to rule Outworld and revive it. Kittlesen did a great job in developing a character I had no interest at first.

Just read the issue. Kotal is fucking amazing. Hands down my favourite new character so far. The panels where he just annihilates the Red Dragon was so good, and him



I wouldn't worry about Rain. I highly doubt he'll be playable, but I still think he'll turn up as a cameo or as a background character. Torr looked like he was using what could be his alternate costume, but Ferra looked normal. Still want to see what's under the mask. Sonya is definitely playable, there's no way she's not. Can wait to see if Johnny has been training in Seido. I'd lose my shit if he was in his MK9 Arcade ending outfit. Reiko looks more and more likely to be playable. I don't know if I'm seeing things, but every time he appears in the comic his outfit seems to be a little bit more unique. I honerly think he has a new outfit but I can't really tell. Mileena just needs to be revealed at this point. She's just in the way for other characters to be revealed.

Overall, pretty damn good issue, but i, just waiting to see Johnny, Ermac and Sub-Zero in the comic, but I'm enjoying this nonetheless. And the Golden Desert needs to be a stage in the game.

Um that wasn't about Rain it was about Tanya. I didn't see how killing off Tanya- a character who we haven't seen in 9 fucking years and who the general public has forgotten about is edgy or even PROGRESSIVE! Makes no sense. If Tanya had been appearing in game after game for 9 years then I might can understandthis person disliking her as we all have xcharacters we dislike. But why be so hateful about a character thats pretty much been vanquished from the series since Bush was in office and PS2 was the system of the century?

What a great issue.

- Mileena's full costume looks good, love the mask.

- Kotal Kahn riding a fucking mini T-Rex into battle like a champ.

- Kotal disarming Goro.

- Rain getting sizzled made me laugh.

- Finally see Sonya in Outworld.

I'm guessing the reason we didn't see Erron Black shooting motherfuckers is because he's on guard duty with Cassie and Jacqui.

Goro is legendary. One of the few brutes in MK I actually care about. I know it's a comic, but he could be so much more menacing in actual continuity.

Yup, here's the EXCLUSIVE first look at Rain's return in chapter #15

Kotal is just so amazing!!! The way he got of the theropod and killed the first two Red Dragon members was ninja like...just so incredible. I love ninjas. I loved it. Finally we see Kotal using his beam power melt someone. I always wanted to see that. I want to know how strong he can make it. Looks so cool. I hope that it is a Fatality in the game. Kotal just dismantling Goro was the highlight of the comic. I always thought he was going to kill Goro but no, Kotal let him live. Unexpected but welcome. Kotal is a more nuanced character then I realised. Overall Kotal is shaping up to be the best character in the game judging from this comic in my opinion. He looks fantastic. His voice is epic and his personality is the most complex and fleshed out.

Loved Sonya's appearence at the end. She looks like she means business. I think both Sonya and Kotal will resolve their problems between them.
