Whelp, it's a definite yes for Cage, so here's the list again:

Next up is Kabal!

Well, he's undead, so he'll obviously be appearing in the next game. And if there's a chance his character is going to be more developed in the next game, I'd like to see where he's going to go. We saw a little bit of him and Kano talking about the Black Dragon and how Kabal is no longer apart of it, since he went to the police force and such. If there's a chance he'll be able to be more developed, could we see him return to it? I'm going to say yes, for the sake of just he's undead, he'll be seen in the next game, and since this is about appearances, well... he'll be appearing in the next game, no doubt.

I'd say yes. Non-playable in 10.

But I'll happy if Kabal returns playable again in 11.

However I'm worried though if he comes back at the end of the game...

What if he gets manipulated by Havik again!? And what'll happen to the friendship & partnership between him and Stryker? I don't wanna see that relationship fade!

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him return in MK10.

I just hope he remains good. I hated seeing him evil in Deception. Anyway, it's a yes for me.

Me too. I want him good permanently! Have someone else reform the Black Dragon, like Kano. Or someone else. Or better yet, let the Red Dragon take over.

So I take it that you are voting for "yes?"

Kabal is a yes for me. I think he's got a sweet ass design and some of the coolest weapons in MK, in my opinion. Whether or not he'll be good or evil is yet to be seen, but like most people are saying, I'd like to see a good guy Kabal.

I like Kabal as a character but I fucking hate fighting against him in MK9. He's ridiculous.

That being said, I'll say YES since he's one of the 'A-List Zombie Horde'

Yes because he's one of the undead, so he'll be there anyway.

So, Kabal is in:

Next up is Kai:

I wouldn't mind seeing this character come back and replace Liu's role in this, while also helping Cage and Sonya out. However, I would like for them to make this character look better. I thought his debut appearance wasn't that much interesting, and his Armageddon appearance, I was not really that much of a fan of either. I'd like for them to just make him look like he could be a hero rather than someone who's bland and dull to look at. I don't mind what his moves are, I mean I did like his moves that he had in both games. Just touch up on the appearance and we'll be good. It's a yes for me.

I'd say yes to Kai.

But how would you make him a better hero while Liu is going neutral rogue?

Plus if his handstand kick returned, what of his projectiles? And what other moves can they give him? Something tiger-related?

Definite YES from me. I don't know why but I think Kai has some potential to shine with the reboot. Maybe it's the body paint?

I definitely think Kai should be in the next game. He could very well be the a "main hero" character, but he should be developed into that role within a span of games. It would make more sense for characters like Raiden to be more on the focus of being the main hero despite the fact that it hasn't really worked out too well in the games.

In terms of looks, I don't really have many ideas though I'm sure that NRS' designers would do a touch up on his MK4 look. For his gameplay, he should come off as being very nimble as he was apparently intended to be. His handstand could be a mini-stance, and I'd like to see it return. Despite what many want, I don't want his moves to be based off of Capoeira. It makes much more sense for his fighting style to be based off of traditional Chinese martial arts such as Monkey style.

I'm not sure about his projectiles. They are ok, I guess, but I kinda wished that when they came up with the character's powers that they didn't go in the fire route. Maybe some of his special moves could be weapon based.

Wonder how he'll fit in?

When Kai is taken under Raiden's wing, Kai becomes concerned about his behavior and Liu Kang's

Kai & Liu can duke it out.

This right here.

His handstand moves must return, preferably as a stance. His fireballs could be very interesting for pop-ups and zoning.

Definite yes for me.

Kai has so much storyline potential but it's been nothing but squandered so far. I wouldn't mind having him as a "new" Liu Kang or something to that effect.

And I agree, I'm a fan of his handstand. It's sure as hell better than Sonya's.

If they bring him back, they should have him in this old design:

Give him the machete.

How could he fight in an outfit like that? In all honesty he'd look pretty silly.

Actually, I like that kind of look for him. It's different, and I'm sure there's a way to work around.

I mean, you have women wearing outfits that if real world physics would apply to this game, their ta-tas would be bouncing out of them the moment they get hit.

There are ways to work around baggy outfits in a fighting game.

Well, Testament from Guilty Gear has a similar costume, and he moves pretty darn well. Check it out.
