Yeah, that's why I like this fatality of his the most out of all his other ones (besides maybe his MKDA one). It's gory, disgusting, and it suits him. I'll probably never use it though lol, it's a little too nasty...

No. It just doesn't make sense. Cutting the face was itself something new in MK and could have been a fatality on its own. The heart and the face part are two disconnected things that just don't make sense together. Kinda like Jax's fatality when he ripped the opponent's arms AFTER killing them by smashing his face? That.

Jax or Kung Lao or Scorpion's or other ones in MK9 were over-the-top because they were butchering an already dead body. But this one, the opponent here is still alive, so he's just finishing the kill. The heart was a cool little touch, but I wouldn't want Scorpion to do anything with it (that's Kano's thing).

8 pages of bitching over a fatality leak? Nobody cares about fatalities except little kids and ninja fanboys anyway. Everyone wants more and more of them yet they only do them a handful of times before forgetting about them, not to mention you can just watch them all on youtube the day the games comes out anyway.

We never forget them, Fatalities are a huge thing for us who actually care about Mortal Kombat.

With people complaining about how this is a two-parter fatality, I'd like to remind you all of Mortal Kombat 2011's fatalities. Most of the characters had them doing two things to the opponent's body, even though they didn't need to. Not sure why it's a bothersome when we've seen a lot of the characters did this is in the last game. Sure it was "overkill" as some explained it, but hey, it's something to watch.

Fatalities were always meant to be a bragging right to the victor. To have a character blow a hole in someone's chest and slice their face off pretty much says, "Haha, I won, you lost."

People complained then too.

I feel like that's more impressive for the 90's when fatalities were somewhat secret and there were more people around to audibly react to them.

Scorpion's Fatality is definitely nice. I have not been a big fan of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Some people can't be pleased even if you give them gold on a platinum plate. Whatever.

Another suggestion for that fatality would have been to pull the heart from the chest with a spear and roundhouse kick it towards the camera. That would have been siiiiiick!

Brutal, it embodies everything MK has been about since it's inception.

Nothing inconsistent about it either, Sub-Zero was still alive at that moment and Scorpion dealt the final blow. So long as no Fatalities feature pointless post death mutilations, all Fatalities will make sense.

I think there were like, 3 threads about his full fatality a month or two ago.

You can tell it is old news because that video was posted a month ago.

Yeah I guessed it was old news but I searched the threads containing "scorpion" and initially didn't find it. I guess it happened on the middle of my university exams and I wasn't checking the site that much by then.

The second part of this fatality is almost exactly like a death in the TV show Sparticus, where Sparticus slices a mans face off toward the end of the series.
