Neat. I don't really get the holy crap reaction though. I mean...this isn't exactly new territory for gore in Mortal Kombat.
Also I'm kind of wondering what the point was in him blowing a hole through his opponent and the emphasis on the heart. I mean with the set up I was expecting him to spear grab his heart out of him or something.

Leaks suck ass, and so do the leakers. Boon clearly didn't want to show this for a reason (whatever it may be), but that apparently meant jack shit to whomever leaked this.

This is why we can't have secrets and cool unlockables in MK. Right here.

Oh, get over yourself. It's a fatality for fucksake, not a character/story leak. Don't consider yourself all high and mighty over everyone just because you didn't watch it. And how does it encourage leaks? Leaks are going to happen whether we like it or not, so prepare yourself for them. It's your choice to watch the video and other videos like this, but when they do happen just don't preach this bullshit, 'cause it makes you look like a dick.

I was going to watch it, but, I actually stopped right when he swipes the blade (just like the trailer). The quality is just too bad to spoil it like that. I want to see it properly, specially since its been so hyped.

I'd feel happy! I prefer knowing what to get before buying a game, so I love spoilers and leaks like this.

That said, am I the only one who thinks Scorpion's fatality is rather boring? Sure, the heart in the hole thing is cool, but in the end, it's just a fireball and a sword slash to the face... It's not all that interesting or unique.

Um... welcome to the age of the internet dude. There is no point in trying to keep anything secret anymore because in minutes someone is going to spill it out onto the net for all to know. Need I remind you about the last time they tried to approach this crap as if this were the "good old days for nostalgia's sake. This isn't the 90's where we were drip fed information through magazines.

Normally I would leave this topic now, but just for you I'll keep at. Personally, I love spoilers. The last three films I've seen I've read its synopsis on wikipedia before I go and see it, I'll read a story synopsis on Walking Dead's latest episode after it aires in the States ect. Now, I have no problem if you don't want to look at spoilers. That's your choice and I respect that. What I DON'T respect however is your overly dickish and self- righteous attitude towards people that do like spoilers. You acting like you're better than us because you chose to not watch the video is why I said you look like a dick. I stand corrected, because you ARE a dick. I chose to watch this video just like you chose not to watch this video. Respect my choice and I'll respect yours, but previous posts suggest you won't. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch this video a couple more times.

Nah, you're a tithead for carrying on like the ultimate arbiter for how people are supposed to conduct themselves with reference to seeing spoilers for a video game. I imagine NRS are well aware of the likelihood of leaks. If they really wanted to keep something secret, they wouldn't show it at all.

Okay... don't flame me.. (no pun intended) but I'm going to complain here for a second... Does any one else think there is too much going on? I felt this way for some fatalities in MK9. Don't get me wrong, the gore isn't too much.. But, it seems to me like NRS tries to cram sooo much into each fatality. I would be happy with a scorpion fatality JUST being the flame through the chest with the heart dropping down.. or JUST the face slice. They both look great!

It seems like they just go, okay now lets add this, okay, now this and this and this!

Maybe im just nostalgic and like the classic fatalities where the character just does ONE really awesome thing. I don't need 3 fatalites crammed into one...
