Ermac is with Kotal too. He is seen leading Kotal's army with Erron Black in the trailer.

Mileena has Rain, Mavado, Reiko and Goro by her side. And I guess Daegon too. But it seems none of them will be playable except for Goro.

Which is kinda or ridiculous. Who will we fight except Mileena? Or will we end up helping Mileena because Kotal will be much more evil than predicted and Mileena would the lesser of both evils?

I am pretty sure Ermac is aligned with Kotal Kahn. In the intro between them, Kotal assumed that Ermac is allies with him and in another shot in a Trailer Ermac is walking with Erron Black down an Outworld street.

And since Goro is a pre-order bonus, that rules him out from being playable in the story. He was in pretty bad shape the last time we saw him in the comics. I don't know how he's going to bounce back from that.

Also thought about Hurricane or Typhoon, but I think that may venture too far into Fujin's territory.

What could he get anyway? I thought his MKX super moves were all over the place. He had a lot of them and he could do pretty much anything.

I'd say give him his MK3 moves back (thunder, super spin kick and water bubble) then focus on the three different concepts of electricty, super strength and water.

I have a feeling he is in as well, I just don't know if he'll be playable.

I wish he is but I'm slowly losing hope because the roster leak seems to be real and the last character left on that list which we have not seen at all yet is Liu Kang.

Me too. There's just to much circumstantial evidence to blatantly ignore.

Now rather or not they leave us waiting until April 14th(or until someone gets their hands on the game super early and leaks the true roster)- is another story.

Is this now the Official Rain SuperThread?

RoyaL Storm does sound better as a Rain variation, and so does Storm Lord.

I was really hoping that after mk9, NRS would flesh out this Son of Argus angle for Rain. Then when I heard about the 25 yr time lapse, I got really excited. I imagined a whole scenario where Rain finds out he's not just hydrokinetic, but he's actually Edenia's Water God and Sea God. Maybe Argus left him a magic weapon, just like he did for Taven and Daegon. Golden Trident anyone?

Besides a rivalry with Kitana, I really wanted to see him battle Daegon. Brother vs Brother, Water vs Fire.

I really want to believe Rain is in. Does anyone else find it odd about the random select option getting its own square? I mean, has any main, non-compilation MK title had one on the select screen before? I don't remember there ever being one.
