Very happy Shinnok made it. He was my first choice by far of all the 3D era characters. I like his design but was hoping for his MKA alternate to be in the game.

The guy who plays Tywin Lannister is called Charles Dance, besides Game of Thrones I only know him from Alien 3 (a very underrated movie)

He has a very ''cold'' voice, would definetly fit Shinnok.

If they hired an actual voice actor to do something similar to his Armageddon voice I'd like it.

Excellent choice. In my head, he sounds a little like Mythologies Shinnok, just much more menacing.

Never been a fan of his look before but he's only been in a few games. I think the character has a lot of potential though and that low res pic of him jumping looks good. Everybody looks better in mkx.

Good catch. Indeed, he does appear to have markings on both his arms, similar to the markings on Quan Chi's skin. Here is a larger close-up, and a deeper hue to make them more visible.

If there was ever a game for Shinnok to make his comeback it was certainly this one. His designs are top notch and he actually looks like a feasible threat. Now I wanna see those skeleton hands!

I'll reserve some judgement until I see some gameplay, but so far I'm definitely wanting to main this guy!

I really hope his moveset and variations are worthy of an Elder God. Shinnok was always in my top 5 characters in the series. So I have a very high interest in his gameplay because as far as his look is concerned this is my second favorite look he's ever had, game wise or story wise. The long robe attire will always be my favorite for him but his new look is still fantastic. This is Shinnok's first true chance to shine in a game.

Shinnok actually has a very VERY Light teal skin color. I assume all the elder gods do. Remember that goddess from Jade's mk9 ending also had that teal skin tone.

Didnt Ed Boon say in a very early interview that KotaL Kahn is related to Shinnok? I might be tripping tho. The question was if KotaL was related to ShaoKahn, and boon's reply was something like "No, he's actually related to Shinnok in a way".... This could explain KotaL's teal skin as well. Maybe the Osh-Tek descended from Shinnok?

I am so excited to have Shinnok back. I have always had a soft spot for this demonic jester. His MKA appearance was a little lacklustre but I have no doubt he's going to be (and I hate this word) epic in MKX. I'm really intrigued by this Impostor variant that's been talked about. I feel like I'm the only one who loved him stealing entire movesets in MK4. I doubt he'll be doing that in MKX.

I can't wait to see some more skull hands, they're always fun and just general Elder Godly/Netherrealmly goodness. I'm also curious to finally see his personality. We got a glimmer in MK9 but it really wasn't much. Shinnok's the ruler of the Netherrealm, I hope he fucking acts like it.
