I'm pretty sure one of the developers said Cassie's working for the police force, although she has a military background. Don't quote me on that, i haven't been following Cassie Cage, but i believe they said that. And i know there's a real life SF, and that it's part of the military, i don't live in a cave.

I haven't read that. If you can find that interview, I'd like to see it.

Liu is not comin' back evil. He's turning neutral.

He'll be an unknowing pawn of Shinnok taking advantage of him using his hatred for Raiden within him. There's still some good in his heart though.

As for the OIA, perhaps it can be developed either by Cassie or by Jax once he and the others are revived to normal at the end of the game.

Still way too cliche for me. Theres so much room for him to be independent of the gods without being a tool for evil. SO much room. He's a friggin Shaolin Monk. He is supposed to be above emotion and passion and vendettas.

But we'll see what NRS actually does. Im prolly going to be disappointed in this regard.

My first impression of Cassie was never a "Police Officer." I mean how many cops do you know that can call in missile strikes?

I personally could care less if they bring Liu Kang back or not. He seems to be one of the MK darlings, so if they somehow bring him back to life again, I just pray that they make his fighting voice a lot less annoying or frequent. Whenever I played with him or against him, in MK9 I'd turn my volume down cuz every move he did involved an annoying high pitched shrill sound effect accompanying it -__- None of the other character had that issue. Just his ass.

LK in MKX, we still haven't seen him. I wanna wait and see if he makes the cut. From there on, it doesn't matter how he's coming back. Good, neutral, evil... people are going to get their precious butt hurt one way or another.

Seriously, for the sake of quality ban the djectives of good, evil and neutral from your vocabulary. We have to have moved on from that simplistic reductions.

^^ Well, we know that VERY Shaolin looking boot that was teased is NOT Kung Lao's (his boots are completely different). Probable suspects are Liu Kang or a new Shaolin character. Although it doesn't necessarily have to be either of those.

Since Kung Lao and Kitana came back, I'd be happy if Liu returned somehow in the game.

I feel like some of these ideas are becoming a lot more likely as the old characters keep getting revealed... I imagine Liu Kang WILL somehow come back and go rogue like his MK9 ending and be the first antagonist of the game before skipping to 25 years later. I always liked that ending and wanted to see it be recreated somehow.

I love the bad ass Legacy season 2 version of Liu Kang. Combine him with a burnt scarred look and he would be awesome.

I can see his variations:

Variation 1: Dragon Fire - involves his dragon fire projectiles
Variation 2: Shaolin - His flying kick and bicycle kick
Variation 3: Merciless - his fury punches & parry

Me too, it's only time the character has been remotely interesting IMO. There no shame in liking Legacy.
