Liu Kang (hooded rogue scarred & burned)

Since Raiden accidentally fried Liu, to me he appears to be out cold after his last words "You... have killed us all!"

Would you all like to see Liu Kang return as a neutral rogue-like character?

I can see the scars and the burns all over his body. And he can wear a hoodie like his Legacy counterpart and Jin Kazama's T4 outfit to hide them.

I don't want to see him as a "zombie" or a "fire god".

Perhaps he can go to the "Gouki/Akuma" road. But he can still have a good heart for his friends alive and fallen.

He wasn't out cold, dude. He was dead.
Not that he can't come back. It's MK, resurrections happen. He could even still have the scars. But what you saw was a corpse. We've been over that part before.

I like the idea of Liu going rogue and not fighting alongside the heroes but still fighting with them. However, I loathe the idea of Liu wearing a hood to hide the burns and scars. Liu Kang isn't some pretentious cunt, he doesn't give a damn what he looks like.

Thank you. I appreciate it. And from what you said. Perhaps he'll show his scars when somebody knocks him and he gets back up revealing his face.

Here are mine:

Variation 1 - Dragon Fire (fire attacks - fireballs & parry)
Variation 2 - Shaolin Monk (flying & bicycle kicks & defensive moves)
Variation 3 - Rogue (I'm thinking something about him using wild offensive moves or something and using wild fire?)

I think it'd be cool to see him resurrected in story mode and show his ascension in to a fire god by the end of it. Zombie had it's day, if he comes back I want something new.

Which is where I believe Shinnok/Quan Chi will come in and play a part. I think they may be behind Liu Kang's potential resurrection if he is indeed back. They'll likely be the masters and Liu the puppet of destruction.

The trick of mutilating Liu Kang for the shock value has always been ... BAD!

I absolutely hated Zombie Liu Kang. I could have taken spirit Liu Kang more. If the old champ is coming back he must look normal.

No more zombie stuff.

They have tried to do the shock value thing with him once and it failed miserably the next game. I don't think that needs to be given another chance even if it's having him do and look completely different. No thanks.

When I was talking about a ninja sword for Liu Kang it is because I ran out of options. I mean it wouldn't be too out of place for him to use some kind of sword maybe even a dragon sword if that is a better choice.

I think Shao Kahn's soul should take over Liu Kang's body in order to cheat death, which we shouldn't know about until later in the story. Liu Kang's own soul, meanwhile, should be trapped in the netherrealm with the others.

I'm of the opinion that he should just stay dead. Given the theme of MKX, we need more focus on new characters as well as post-MK3 characters.

If Liu Kang appears in the game, these are the 3 variations I'd like to see:

1) I don't think he's breathing
2) I think he's dead
3) Yep, that guy's dead
