I would absolutely hate for the final boss to be Liu Kang.

I'd like to see Shang Tsung be the boss again. I don't think it will happen, but that's what I want.

Otherwise, pretty much anyone besides Liu Kang I'll be okay with.

I dont think it will be Liu Kang either. Im pretty sure he will have evolved into the fire god from his mk9 ending, but that doesnt put him at boss status in my eyes. He will just be on par with Raiden and Fujin.

MK9 was a LoveSong to the 1st trilogy. I expect MKX to do the same with the 2nd trilogy. We'll probably get a Shinnok fight in Act-1, a different boss with Act-2 (either KotaL or Goro, from the Outworld Civil war) and then I predict Onaga to be the final boss of the game.

Ed saying the boss is someone unpredictable....Everyone predicts Liu Kang, so I don't think it will be him.

I'm going to guess Havik, only because he would be the funnest boss in the franchise because there's so much you can do with him, he's the cleric of CHAOS after of all.

Main Boss: Liu Kang or Havik (non-playable)
1st Sub-Boss: New Character (non-playable)
2nd Sub-Boss: Shinnok or Mileena (still playable)

Since they won't ever have a female as the main boss, a sub-boss position would next best.

I'm starting to think that Mileena might end up being the boss.

I prefer Evil Burned Liu Kang

It would be cool to see Tanya as a big bad she would tottaly fit that role but that would possible make her overpowered & ofc unplayable so maybe that's not such a good idea.

I would settle just for a regular evil Tanya who's there to ruin the day. :)

Not a bad idea either, i can tottaly picture that funny tarkatan freak as the boss withouth her veil & with her hillarious creepy smile.

Havik or Lui Kang

Havik was fun to me, and I still have a weakness for the man.

I would love to see Lui as a badass-mf..

I am still hoping for either Havik or Liu Kang. Shang Tsung could be acceptable, too, depending on what the story they come up with for him is. I'd rather see him as a playable character though.

I'm sticking with Liu Kang until they reveal him and someone smashes an egg on my face and I am left with egg on my face. Till then I'm sticking with Liu.
NRS aren't creative enough to not make him the "twist" villain.

I think I would enjoy him going through a phase in this game and later goes through conflicts in his life.

Only MK nerds expect him to be the villain. To the casuals Liu Kang as the villain would be a big time twist.

After the ending of the last game, which a lot of casuals will have played, Liu Kang is the most predictable contender for the end boss. It's entirely cliche by this point to have the most morally pure protagonist go rogue.

I'm thinking and hoping Shujinko. Mileena doesn't strike me as end boss material. Though I don't like him, Havik realistically is probably one of the most likely candidates for a twist end boss.

Definitly will be Shinnok, because Mk9 story ending had me assuming it will be back. They didnt just do all that for nothing. Trust me. Shinnok is the BO$$.

Oh wow. I would say at this point it is all but certain that "he who walks in silence", the being that possessed Forrest Fox, is indeed Havik.
