Once they revealed Quan i thought he would at least be a sub boss. His look and with the horse intro just make me think boss. If he's the boss with all variations available and a bit of a health buff i'd be fine with it.

I still think Argus is the main boss. Quan Chi may be killed by Shang Tsung and then Argus kills Shang Tsung near the end of the game and becomes the big bad the heroes have to face for the final battle.

It'd be cool if it was Shujinko or something. My money is on Liu Kang

Nah not quan chi I am sick of him he was good but his gig is getting old; always being one step ahead of everyone and playing both sides, I hope subzero and/or scorpion tear him to shreds in the story mode and that is the last we see of him!

After reading the comics and looking through some old stuff on the web I am tending to lean towards Havik maybe as the end boss or being someway involved. I think the demon in the comics that possessed Forrest fox will be the big bad and there are some clues to it being Havik or Havik related such as; where Raiden said it was from another realm, the mutilation of Forrest fox resembles Haviks mutilated look from previous games and the references to it causing chaos!

Who knows I could be wrong but that is what I am leaning to at the moment, oh and Havik was mentioned in noobs ending so he has not been buried and forgotten about by NRS

The only character that would surprise me, though obviously not much because I've thought of it, would be Mileena.

It would surprise me because I can't see Netherrealm making a female boss, though it would be a pretty awesome thing to see. And considering where the story's gone it would make sense.

The boss and sub boss for MKX ought to be any of the head honcho's, that are alive, from past MK's that we have already had. I am not with the likes of adapting to Liu Kang or any other standard fighter who hasn't been boss yet, being boss material for the foreseeable future. It's inapt, even if some see Kang as becoming darkly corrupt or turning into a fire god.

I really believe the main bad will be Shujinko who has been twisted by Raiden's interference in the timeline.

So who do you think is the final boss/main antagonist for MKX?

a) Quan Chi
b) Shinnok
or
c) Liu Kang

C (liu kang) is the obvious choice.

Havik, Mileena (since she hasnt been revealed), Daegon/Argus, are all possible choices as well. Even maybe a 'new' character.

I personally hope for Havik mostly, then Mileena.

I'm still leaning towards Liu Kang. They did say that it was surprising and Shinnok and Quan Chi just seem too predictable.

I'm thinking it'll follow the way the tower in MK9 flowed.

Sub-Boss 1: Shinnok (replacing Shang Tsung)
Sub-Boss 2: Goro (playable via pre-order after complaints of no sub-boss play from MK9)
Main Boss: God-like or Evil Liu Kang

From the start, I suspect Mileena will be a final boss. Then I'm beggining to feel a little bland about this, thinking she will be the next reveal everytime. Why? Absolute fan favourite, popular to casual fan and expected relevance in story of the game.

But now, is almost february and not one signal of her. My first idea about her as final boss has coming again, and I really don't want it.

I think the nexreveal must be her.

Not to mention NRS has a massive boner for everything Mileena.

Absolutely. There was some hints, even, from Boon, info leaked (???) (or, at least, rumours), MK community approve about Mileena to be included as a playable character. She might be a safe bet, of course, and I and a lot a Mileena's fans are crying for nothing. Dunno.

Liu could be a interesting option as boss, of course. I really want Shinnok, Onaga, Argus or a great classic evil to be boss. Anyone but Mileena

Shinnok will be the main antagonist of the Netherrealm War story arc and Liu Kang will most likely be the endboss in the story mode

Comics are making me lean towards Havik either being the big bad or at least having something to do with it.

I am not so sure Shinnok will be in the game much at all I kind of see the nether realm invasion being played out very quickly in story mode and Shinnok being screwed over by quan chi and either being killed off early or banished somewhere or some shit like that! Just reading the comics the nether realm invasion seems to over and done with but who knows we shall see.

As for Goro I think he will be killed by Kotal Kahn in the outworld fight for the throne and is just in as DLC because he is a fun classic character so I am expecting to see some sort of new unplayable sub boss in this game
