Smoke.

I like Cyrax, but I don't think he has much potential aside from another minot good guy. I don't see Smoke being someone very important to the storyline, but his new origin give very interesting possibilities in regard to his gameplay, while Cyrax was at his absolute in MK9.

Smoke did nothing other than getting kicked to the nuts and getting his neck broken by Sindel.

Cyrax rocked in MK9;.

I love Cyrax, always have and always will.

He was my favorite Cyborg in MK3, and the only reason I payed any attention to Nitara's story was because Cyrax was in it.

In the past, Cyrax would always win over Smoke, but the past is gone.

Smoke has most definitely changed for the better. I fell in love with him the moment I saw his render for MK2011. When I finally got the game, I played the shit out of him, and I say he has the best gameplay of all the characters. His purpose in the story served very well, and I loved it when he called Kitana a housemaid. My only regret is that he was dumb enough to fight Sindel.

Keep in mind that Sektor had weakened Smoke and co. with a plethora of Tekunin already and during MKII he beat Sektor.

Smoke is fantastic

Having a human Smoke for the first time ( a real one, gray Scorpion doesn't count) was one of the best things about MK9.

Seeing a pre-cyber Cyrax in action was great too, but I'm voting Smoke.

I waited for years to meet him as a human, This game did not dissapoint me in terms of character.

I voted for Smoke... but not because of his portrayal in MK2011...

Voting Cyrax because I want more than one black person to make it to round 3.

Cyrax has been a long term favourite, I'm only recently a Smoke fan due to MK9.

My vote goes to Cyrax but I'l be happy with who ever goes through.

I personally loved both characters, so it was rather tough for me to choose. But I slightly liked Smoke more than Cyrax in MK9 so I vote Smoke, though either way I'm happy with whoever advances.

I can accept demi-gods, gods, people that age slowly, etc. competing in a mortal kombat tournament. But I never understood the cyborgs. They always seem so out of place to me. So, Smoke. Had he been a robot again, I would have abstained from this vote.
