She is low tier because people suck at playing as her. XD
I don't care about tiers though. There's no fun in playing a character who is easy to spam moves with. I find Jade very enjoyable to play as, I like her gameplay alot and that is more important than what any tier list has to say.

That and the fact she has virtually NO low combos. Hell, the only one she has can be completely avoided with a block whilst standing, the animation wont allow her to follow through with the 2nd hit (which is the low part of the mixup) if the first move is blocked. Her projectiles are slow, and she also has no teleport to ease past zoners. She eats up meter to be in any way effective, and at that her moves are a total gamble to take that most characters can get around with ease.

In comparisson to a lot of other characters, her attacks and combos put her at a severe disadvantage. That and she's noted even in her bio for being "stealthy and agile" yet moves incredibly slow in battle.She's really only any use if she's got a full meter, and at that, it's complete guessing games on how the person you're facing is going to play and use their own character. She takes twice as much effort to use effectively in comparisson to Skarlet, which is why she'd be low tier.

I don't follow tier guides, I just stick with the character I find suits my own playstyle (which would be Mileena and Kitana), but I'm no chump at this game either. I can spot a character with disadvantages, and Jade certainly has them in this game.

Skarlet is better then Jade in gameplay. Jade is not horrible though, she has no low mixups, oh well. She has some good BnB's, footsies, and her glow is awesome. She may be low tier, but she is definitely a viable character in MK9.

I am not big fan of both of them, but I voted Jade because there is too little to Skarlet at the moment. She has potential to be awesome and has interesting powers, but that's pretty much it. Her design is boring and gameplay is somewhat awkward. Jade on the other hand is very impressive, when it comes to the gameplay and her designs one of the best amongst MK9 females (it doesn't mean that they are good, it's just better than what other females has).

Hate to say it, but Meat does have potential...gameplay wise. Storywise... he's worse than Mileena's retcon. I doubt they'll ever bring meat out of the shithole he's in though. Currently one of the worst characters in the franchise. There's so much potential in being able to rip off your body parts and use them as weapons... as far as gameplay goes, but as of his latest iteration... he's still got a generic and boring moveset.

Don't know why, but I found this hilarious.

I vote Mileena. Why? Because in a series filled to the brim with boring and generic characters, Mileena eats your face.

I look at her change this way: Mileena was a good enough character to be derailed by such a bad retcon, while Meat and many others can't even be ruined because we don't care in the first place.

Also... Though Mileena's MK9 story/design wasn't the best ( I think the changes could end up being for the better in future games), I think she's been consistently done well throughout the series and her gameplay in MK9 is almost perfect. I'd call her one of the most balanced characters... Which is far from her #1 spot in MK2, but still...

Mileena, I just love the whole "Ugly face, overcompensates by dressing like that" thing she has going on. and even her retconned story is more interesting than meats.

Meat was a fun skin-change in MK4, but I have never liked him as a real character. He will always be a joke character with no substenance to him, in my eyes.

Mileena is one of my favourite characters in Mortal Kombat and though she had her story retconned, I still think she is one of the coolest and most awesome characters ever made in MK.

Even though I want Mileena to win, I'm going to vote for Meat, just to show how much I do like him.

Obviously Mileena. I have a tattoo of her on me. I'm not sure why anyone would vote for Meat though.

Oh and I think for the Scorpion vs. Moloch fight. I think we all need to vote for Moloch to get rid of Scorpion so he doesn't win this compeition.

I doubt everyone would do that, but I'm on board for it. ^^
