>Scorpion
He lost due to a lot of us being tired of having him being in our faces all the time. Most people here thought Sub-Zero vs. Scorpion as the final match in this harmless little tournament would be boring.
>Raiden
Apparently, having human-like qualities and not being a wise, all-knowing god isn't a good thing for Raiden in the Story Mode. I like him in the Story Mode as well. Gameplay, not so much.

Kabal has one of the coolest background stories in MK history. It's too bad they kinda ruined it a little in MK:D, but he was one of the few reasons why I played MK3. The guy is just awesome.
C'mon Kabal fans! Step up and vote!

Well they Shinnok and Raiden are on even ground. In MK9 showed that Raiden wasn't so smart.
By the way him and Shinnok are both mortal. Shao was a demi-god in the series. Why, do you think Raiden got beat the shit out of him. When, the Elders blasted him it hardly had an effect on Khan.
He laughed it off like a boss.

LIKE a boss? Shao Kahn, yeah, he is a boss (for most games) But I wouldn't say that they're all on even ground. Raiden could more than likely defeat Shinnok or Fujn in battle, he has more experience (even though he doesn't show it). I thnk that god characters shouldn't exist, but not due to power. It overrates them and makes people think they're massively powerful, but they're just Mortals in this game series. They're looked at too highly.donsian Wrote:

It's like saying that Sub-Zero being more iconic than Frost is an insult to Frost's fans. It doesn't make sense and ridicolous though and thorough.

Dude, it's because I read it WRONG and thought you were saying it's obvious that people were going to vote Raiden instead of Kabal. Like totally dismissing him.
Yeah, maybe something is wrong with my head, but you would know, right? Just by some text? Yeah.. Definitely.

It is hinted in MKD that Shao Kahn is of the same race as Raiden and Lucifer. One of the backwards lines made by one of the inhabitants of the Chaosrealm says so. That confirms Shao Kahn is or indeed once was a god, at least.

MKD is as canon as the other games. It's part of the main storyline, not some spin-off game. But as I said, it is only hinted to, nothing has been explained further. I guess until it is officially confirmed otherwise, it is up to each individual to decide wether or not it is true. However, the statement is in the game, so take it or leave it.

Those who ignore would be ignorants, no?
One thing is to be sceptic about something that has happened in the games, another thing is to just pretend it didn't happen. The latter would be the choice of the ignorant.

Yeah, like Ashrah speakingof Noob Before there WAS a Noob, or how Sub-Zero didn't exist during training. A lot of characters appear far before the first MK in totally different ways, before many were even born. Think about it.

those who ignore for reasons are not ignorant, thats just a fan who hated the plot that badly. if they ignore without reason, then that is being ignorant
While there are many incosistences in the MKD Konquest, the game is canon and many parts of Konquest canon as well. If people dismiss them - it is only their problem, that they ignore important part of the canon. Such opinions don't make MKD less canon or affect storyline at all.

Okay, I definately won't dismiss it, but plenty of inconsistancies made plotholes in the game- like when you are training with Sub-Zero, not even the Elder Sub-Zero would be a master yet, so muh as an elite assassin. While it is a canon game, I see plenty of problems conflicting the storyline. While there are many incosistences in the MKD Konquest, the game is canon and many parts of Konquest canon as well. I quite disagree. Why would anyone want to ignore something for no reason? People ignore the things they don't want to accept as reality.
People who don't want to accept MKD as a canon game and choose to ignore it are ignoramus.

Certains things you just have to ignore..Like no one else ageing apart from Shujinko and some of the Derpier moments in Konquest.
I did love Konquest mode, It was a treat for MK fans.
