My vote for this one goes to kabal. He is always a fun character to
play as, and i always thought raiden was a huge interruption
to the series. (MK2011 specificly)

On another note, I think that most of the matches left in the tourney are more or less right down the middle, that each matchup pins characters of equal strength against each other. Maybe I'm wrong, but let's find out.

I dont think Raiden is an interruption. I think he has become one of the most changed characters in the series. In the old timeline he became ruthless to protect Earth at any cost. This time he's shown to be desperate finally resolving the problem with MAJOR sacrifices.

He has came up with every way to stop a villain in this story IMO. I don't find him an interruption he's like Velma from Scooby solving the mysteries lol.

I don't know who I i will vote for this round. Most likely Raiden because before MK9 I really liked him.

Never really have been a fan of Kabal, but I don't neccessarily think he's a bad character or anything.

Also in reference to Jade getting eliminated, I'm not going to cry over it because like many have said in the long run this poll won't mean anything. However, I will say that I do feel it was to appease some whiners who couldn't deal with Jade being somewhat popular. I was hoping she would beat Cage because honestly it would have been the biggest uphill battle for her of any character because she's faced 3 popular characters in Skarlet, Mileena, and Johnny Cage. She really did fight an uphill battle.

I actually find this to be true, thogh he actually did relinquish immortality to be ablt to comppete, so it still was pretty fair, but I get what you're saying. But the fight isn't more popular or who's the fairer fighter, sadly. It's about who's stronger, so I gave my vote to Raiden.

I know. If it would have ended when it should have Jade would have won. I'm usually up pretty late, and Cage was winning there for a bit, but Jade was still in the lead about the time the poll usually gets changed. Jade should have won, and if it weren't for the extra day we got then she would have. Plus she led the thing the majority of the time. Oh well though, it's just a poll in the end. Jade fans fought hard.

Kabal takes this one for me. I feel this game did very well by him, and Raiden...no, not so much. Again, great fatalities and classic gameplay made Kabal a blast to come back to.

Whoa! Kabal is doing way worse than I thought he would. In fact when the whole thing started i kinda had the feeling that Kabal would be the underdog that would cause the biggest upset against a fan fav, and place very high. Kinda like Sektor did in the previous tournament...though i never realised why he did, Kabal had everything working for him in this game. Awesome look, amazing gameplay (he was considered top tier along with Cyrax, Kitana and Mileena if I remember correct), and a good anti-hero development in the story mode. Oh well...maybe it was just me. Hope he turns things around though!

Raiden IS more iconic than Kabal. That's not an insult - it is a fact of life.
If you think that's an insult to Kabal's fans then there is something wrong with your head.

It's like saying that Sub-Zero being more iconic than Frost is an insult to Frost's fans. It doesn't make sense and ridicolous though and thorough.
