How about no ninjas? That would be nice. Since most people are looking for less predictable outcomes, why not have Johnny Cage vs. Raiden? Or Sonya vs. Liu Kang?

Well if those are the matchups,then i'd hope it'd be Kung Lao vs Sub-Zero,Or Kung Lao vs Rayden.Maybe even liu kang to take kung lao's place in case.I really hate noob,so of course i don't want to see him.

Why the hate for Ninjas?

I'm hoping if Sub-Zero is in the next game it's just a completely unmasked version like the old days, and he can have a mask made of ice for his alt.

I'm thinking along the line of this for sub-zero in the next game.

A leather clad hooded sleeveless attire. Solid blue with some kind of white dragon design on it, and some kind of metal attached to the top half of the arm openings. Think like assassin's creed but without sleeves and blue. The hood would be down for his primary, revealing his face. The hood would be up in his alt with a mask made of ice. Also he would have a black shirt underneath this "blue hoody" that would go up to the top of his neck. Like some under armour or something.

No loincloth at all. Just some solid black pants with blue stripes down the side.

A metal belt similar to the one in MK9 or even a belt similar to his deception attire, with a blue ninja belt wrapping around the outside of the metal and covered by the buckle of the belt with the blue straps of the ninja belt hanging down.

The ice arms should make a return with some kind of shoulder guards or upper arm bands, possibly like the arm bands from his DA alt.

The boots should also have more blue on them than in MK9, but I could be fine with the metal boots again as well.

That's how I picture MK10 sub-zero. Just a completely different look from previous games, with pieces of old attire to still give him the sub-zero feel. That's assuming he can get rid of his metal and wires that he's now covered in. Oh well, I guess I can get used to him looking the same for freaking ever. My god I hate cyber subz.lol.

The whole point I was trying to get to in general though is that I hope he's unmasked, as well as Rain. I think some of these ninjas just need to show there face because they aren't ninjas. Rain shouldn't be masked. Reptile should no longer be masked. Smoke shouldn't even have to be masked in my opinion.

The only "Ninjas" who should be masked at this point are Scorpion, Noob, and Ermac. Hell Ermac doesn't even look like a ninja anymore. More like a mummy. The rest should just have an alt that's masked to please everyone, but at this point the characters have grown past being masked. I don't feel that any of the female ninjas should be masked anymore besides Mileena and that's to hide her mouth. Jade, Kitana, and Skarlet could all be unmasked and I would be fine with it. Until we get the masks off of these guys people aren't going to get past the "Oh no they're ninjas" phenomenon that seems to be going on with some people.

Sub-Zero's = more epic-ier.

I don't think it's necessarily a hate for ninjas as much as a distaste for what they represent... I mean, obviously there are those who think ninjas are awesome for the mere fact that they're ninjas, but there are those who disdain the repetitiveness of their aesthetics and their appeal. At least, that's my issue, and I'm assuming it's what a lot of others who don't take so kindly to ninjas also feel.

I really value characters that are more diverse and unique in a world so dominated by the mask-wearing, where it seems "COVER THE MOUTH!" is the first place the artists often go during the creative process. That's why I'll be voting for Cage, Raiden, Tsung, Kung Lao and definitely Sonya. You guys really should take this into consideration IMHO. Character diversity is a big part of what makes stories and visuals unique, and therein is where the "cool" factor really lies - not in an overused gimmick.
