I'm glad Rain looks good,always liked him(then again I'm one of those sad ones that liked all the ninja's,except maybe smoke,he was okay,but is now awesome due to getting his own moves)

I personally think half the fun of the roundhouse was that it didn't have a portal,it becomes less fun with a portal to explain why they go across the screen,then it just becomes a regular roundhouse that happens to go into a portal,but I can understand why some would be bugged so i digress.

Like what they did with the control orb. And I am a fan of the actual fighting style,seems like a tiger, crane, eagle claw type thing.

It's a power jetstream of water in the shape of a sword. Rain is a water bender.

Props to whoever can dubb "I make it Rain on em hoes" over the vid and upload it on youtube.

This is awesome, really I can't believe they could make him beyond my expectations... never wouldve guess this...

I wonder though people, where are you getting Noob-Saibot similiarities...

The first move with water you see, is his throw. which looks similiar to noobs teleport... but he doesn't teleport at all..

His uppercut move isn't necessary a teleport, atleast the unenhanced version isn't , he propells himself with water upward..

Never really liked rain, as I didn't play MKT, because MK3 was so bad. But he looks awesome here. I might actually buy him.

I've watched the trailer twice now, Rain is looking pretty good. I've been excited to see him since he was revealed as DLC and I think NRS has done a good job bringing him into this game. His water moves look way better in this game than MKA. All of his moves totally fit and his intro is...interesting, but it also fits. I was hoping they'd give him some "storm" moves but it's mostly water based, and that's fine but I think it would have made ideas for his moves easier. All good though.

It sucks though that none of the DLC speak during their intros. Not that they have to but I'd think at least one or two of them would say something. Rain's look is pretty awesome, although during gameplay he looks kind of thin? No big deal but just kind of weird to me.

All in all Rain is looking great and I can't wait to play as him. I'd say most anticipated DLC character for MK yet.

He looks okay gameplay wise, though apart from the roundhouse and mind control orb, the moves feel recycled from other characters.

He looked better in MKA. But most characters in this game did anyway.

I knew people would complain haters gonna hate, but Rains fighting style looks Komboliztic, !!!!

and to the dude who said he's a copy and paste of Quan Chi,
you do know Rain was there before Quan Chi, and plus Rains Orb move is controllable, so i recommend you slap your self in the face for trying to state what you don't know, and do it again just for being silly

and to defend Rain and the Noob teleport, Rain's move is a throw, Noob is an attack Teleport, and the animation is different, so if the Properties are different and the animation is Different then the move is different,

those complaining about the Roundhouse not going through a portal are the also same ones complaining about rains moves being a copy and paste,
that's where you look like hypocrites, cause how many other fighters use portals, Scorpion, Noob, Quan Chi, Shao Khan etc

plus its a unique property and opponent appearing on the other side of the screen is a nice touch, if you think it doesn't make sense, then you shouldn't play Mortal Kombat since people can Produce fucking fire balls, which in reality doesn't make sense, so your points invalid

points i do agree on second fatality is a bit weak looking and the water is similar to Reptiles spit and Sektors flame thrower, but so is a lot of other moves,

i have a feeling Rain be very punishable, to those complaining about Spamming,

Well, looks like the emphasis on his water powers has increased even more with time.

Disappointed that he seems to have Noob-like moves, and I echo Razor's statements about the inherent silliness of the kick without a portal, but it's not like this is new.

Amazed as hell the control orb is back. Wouldn't have expected it in a million years.

Digging both his intro, and especially his winpose. Fatality 1 looks sick, but I just hope 2 doesn't end in a hack-and-slash job. I wouldn't mind another bisection, though.

Though I agree with you about the teleport- it should be passive like Raiden's.

I think that Water Jet may be another "free hit" attack- looks like it stuns them.

I knew he'd have his MKT moves back!

Hope none of you recognises this as words of hate, but the way he spreads his fingers in this version of his victory pose looks kinda like Sindel's MK:D outro.

Has anybody played Test Your Luck with Kenshi yet? Does he have an additional pose? Skarlet has no extra/Babality victory pose there, I hope they WILL remember about this detail as regards Rain.
