You may be a fan of those things, but those are driving reasons of why most movies based off of games always fail in the yes of fans. They are plagued with bad acting, lame writing, and they come off as cheesy, campy, and over the top. Those things do have a fanbase and a place in the media...but for the masses, most people want to see good storytelling, awesome effects, and believable acting. And based off of the majorities reactions to the vid, if this guy made a movie people would like it.

I know you're just stirring the pot for fun at this point, but what the heck? Describe inbred. Because the last time I checked neither Crow, Mick, IceBaby, Detox, Temp, MKF, etc. are related or fucking each other.

I find it disturbing that on this site, the majority of fans thoroughly go out of their way to replicate what Mk1 to MK4 has brought to the table. May it be fan art, fan fic, etc.

Very rarely do I see something that bothers with post MK4 stuff. Also, looking back, it is genuinely true that every MK release is followed by a bitchfest. Also, inappeasable.

It is like being trapped in a loop. Differentiating from the norm spills certain death, nevermind that aesthetics and the needs of the masses have moved on.

Do not get me the wrong way, I love you guys, we had some fun for years... but what is going on in the MK fanbase is something I find irritating and frightening for MK's own sake.




Also, a thought: I would find a capoeirista madman plastic surgeon who deformed himself and attached feet long rectractable blades into his forearms much more scarier than an orkified nomad that looks like a reject from Youngblood comics. Not to mention being written with the personality only a ten year old would find cool.

If you're implying that the masses don't always want something good, who are you to say what is good? Obviously the things you and I mentioned are all up for personal opinion on weither you like them or not, but you can't argue with something that sells. I may not care for any of the things you just named, but at one time they all made millions from the demographic that liked it. 95% of the responses to this video have been positive or supportive, the video got a million views in the span of a day, so there's obviously a lot of people out there interested in seeing this movie.
