You know what... I haven't really gone into much detail at all with the fighting style. I think due to the nature of my character. But I may have to edit that part to maybe explain; how he moves, how fast he is, things like that. All I did was explain the "styles" origins. Only a brief explanation. I don't think these guys want a novel size bio, or we would be waiting till MK10 for the winner lol

It's a quick creation of my character using WWE SVR2011's CAW mode lol.

Then I took a picture using my mobile of a screenshot. Then upload onto my computer, then run it through a quick edit.

Hey Crow. I will have my revised character sent to you within a couple of days. The first character bio I thought up within an hour so I needed some drastic change. I revised him so much I even changed his last name. I don't think I will win the tourney but I dont want to be knocked out in the first round.

I'm a little worried about my character now! looking at her as she isnt traditionaly Mortal Kombat in design and I think people may not approve ;)

I actually put much detail into my character's fighting style.

I did so by recreating an existing style, and adding new elements exclusive to my character.

I hope theres a few more designs like that :) although I have to admit my characters second costume is a bit more revealing but thats more for contrast to her original costume but its more covering the most of the current females in the game

Mine barely wears anything at all! So there should be a good spread of clothing styles and attitudes I think. Will be fun to see them.

I know that there's been previous tournaments such as these from checking other threads...but has anyone who've won the tournament had their character considered to be implemented in the actual MK video game?

I think this would be a great recruiting tool/platform to filter new and fresh ideas for the MK series. I mean for all the creativity generated...I would think some of the ideas could actually be ultilized. I mean knowing that they would have to be pitched to Ed Boon/John Tobias and WBs and the budgetary concerns for implementing an idea would have to be close to guaranteed to be a success.

I just think there needs to be more iconic characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden and others to really take the game to new heights which looks like it already has with the revamp of the characters. But look at Scorpion and Sub-Zero being that they've been in every game series. Just imagine if there was an entire roster of characters with the popularity of those two characters. Or ideas to enhance the gameplay of the established characters even more, that would make this game even more incredible.

i really respect that dude!! i felt that my character's costume WASN'T MK enough so i had to make some changes. example huge bust, cleavage showing etc

I'm making an update detailing each of De Kai's and De Kiô's moves. In the original the fighting style was a too poor. I hope this is not too much, jajaja.

I feel a little better now knowing that atleast a few others haven't got crazy in-depth descriptions of the fighting style. I still might give it a few tweeks before tuesday though to be sure I'm happy with it.



Aha, don;t worry! My girl's primary is the same, barely showing anything. Although her alternate could give that infamous flesh pit costume a run for it's money. Hopefully the judges see why though as I think my costume is slightly more justified and plausible than that toilet paper ensemble the team stuck Milly in for this game :/

'She tripped and all her clothes fell off and blew down a drain' would be more plausible than TP'd edition Mileena.

But to be honest I'm just as guilty of it with my character. She's virtually naked.

I think no one will be able to top the charisma of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. I think that some entries have tried to do similar takes but with different names and slightly different moves, but it's still Scorpion & Sub-Zero in disguise.

I'm not trashing the people "incarnation" of these iconic characters. I would like to see another Scorpion incarnation, like Frost is to Sub-Zero, with a plausible background/story. I have such a character in mind but I wanted to stay away from the "incarnation craze".


Originality is going to go far in the competition.
