I just want to see the art, I want to be able to imagine the character in my head while I'm reading their bio.

Ideally a well written bio will be enough to provide descriptive visuals that you can imagine while reading without the necessity of a physical image. I'd wager that the strongest character entries will contain both a well written bio and an interesting art piece however.

Incidentally the inability to provide a good art piece/screen cap is really the only thing keeping me from entering.

The lack of a piece of art is what it'll make my characher loose, i think. But well, I think they are still great.

Mostly just glances over them to make sure they are within my guidelines in most ways. I feel like learning about characters early will probably influence the way voting goes, for judges and the community alike.

I think i could've made them in either SC4 or MKA, but i don't have them anymore. I still have one week for updating it, so if i can get a friend os mine to borrow it for me, or better, to draw it for me, i will send it. I'm just soo busy at the moment!

Ire has inspiration from 2 separate video games, and neither of them is Mortal Kombat. I wonder if anyone will be able to figure out either of them. And before anyone asks, there exists no form of plagiarism in Ire's design.

Are the judges looking for plausible characters/bios/moves/fatalities and so on? Or just anything that "sounds" fun?

First off, Welcome To MKO.

Second, trust me, they're going to be looking for the real deal, characters that would actually fit in the MK universe.

For now, all entries are being accepted, to avoid discrimination for possible lack of better creativity (no offense to anyone whatsoever). Once the tournament actually begins, whatever isn't worthy in the eyes of the judges and users will be cast aside, and the best will remain.

I just hope my character becomes at least close to the best.

I didn't mean any disrespect by the way!!! I was hoping for this to be a little more on the serious side, but the fun creation should be entertaining also.

If I can get a few fans to like what I have done, then that would be excellent enough!

i have a comic i used to do so i'm going to use a char we were going to use in the last book but we never finished the comic.

Does anyone know of any FREE online avatar/character/monster creator? Not the cartoon style, more of the serious 3D style?

I want to use it to create my character.

I doubt any of the such exists.

For 3d renders of your characters, it is best you use character creation software from a particular video game, as ~Crow~ had previously stated.

Common choices include Mortal Kombat Armageddon and Soul Calibur IV.

I myself would recommend Def Jam Icon, for I feel it has the best character creation feature of any video game.
