Shang Tsung has been one of my favorites from the beginning. Here's hoping for a glorious return for MK11 after his shit exit from MK9.
Shang Tsung all the way.
This. Favorite "boss" villain of the entire series. I can't wait until they write him back into the mix.
Fingers crossed for Ermac's ending to be canon. Imo, it's the absolute perfect means for him. All those souls, all that power.
Well, Shang Tsung's a classic. There's no way they would write him out of the series for good. In fact, I kinda hope he returns as an anti-hero, much like in his MK9 ending. It would be interesting if they did that, and he would make an uneasy alliance with the heroes to stop Liu Kang and Kitana.

If he comes back, perhaps he could revive Quan Chi somehow and start Deadly Alliance again.
I wish.
Although, Raiden's attempts to stop Armageddon never did anything to stop Onaga from coming back, so perhaps MK11 will be about Onaga coming back to take his rightful throne. It'd be interesting seeing Kotal Kahn's reaction to that after having his main enemy, Mileena killed.
I predict that the next match is going to have either Johnny Cage or Kano in it.

In life, Drahmin had been a despicable warlord. In death, he became an even more brutal and sadistic demon amassing newfound power in the Netherrealm. As an oni torturer he caught the eye of the notorious sorcerer Quan Chi! Quan Chi's dark magic served the grand plans of a fallen elder god, but his own grand designs demand minions to do his wicked bidding. Drahmin may have served Quan Chi with an iron fist and an iron will, but with a certain spectre escaping their grasp his time in Hell is running out! What happens when The Oni Tormentor faces the Netherrealm Necromancer? Can the iron clubbed demon escape his fate? Choose their destiny!... ... FIGHT!
As for who would win? MKX didn't do Quan Chi any favors, he was made out to me a complete chump. Didn't he get his ass kicked like 3 or 4 times? I also seem to remember Qaun Chi asking Drahmin and Moloch to protect him from Scorpion while he was in the Netherrealm, which means Qaun Chi has some sort of confidence in Drahmin and his abilities.
But Quan Chi is one of MK's greatest. I know some people are bitter about him being too powerful in the past couple games, but come on. He's probably the second best villain after Kahn.
STATE FED LIES CHARM EMPTY EYES. Anon.
These are 2 of my favourite characters! It's so hard to decide. They have so much history to explore.......all the thousands of years they have been around. Drahmin a handsome Outworld warlord (remember that drawing of how he looked when he was alive?), Quan Chi a necromancer from the Netherrealm.......
I guess I love Quan Chi a bit more, but I'll vote for Drahmin (just to even the odds )
Back to voting, I really like Drahmin as one of the very few likeable 3D era characters and would love to see him return, but Quan Chi takes the win.
Personality: Quan Chi.
Design: Quan Chi.
Finishers: Quan Chi.
Backstory: Quan Chi.
In a fight: Quan Chi.
The tatooed sorcerer wins against the masked oni 6-0-0.
Even though he was a bitch in MKX'S story (who wasn't?), Quan Chi was still badass gameplay-wise. That, combined with one of the coolest costumes ever (yes, I said EVER.)
Which design?
Moveset: Quan Chi.

His MKX primary.
Drahmin was good...in concept only. That concept art they released prior to the launch of MKDA was amazing...there was more thought and backstory put into Drahmin than even the entire Mortal Kombat franchise storyline from MK1 - MK4 in that concept art...and they used NONE of it. He was the most feared, despised and ruthless warlord that ever lived in any realm...suffering the worst torment and punishment in the Netherealm than anyone who has ever lived...and the mask he wore was significant, and had its own backstory as well.
Nope. Nothing. Nada.
Drahmin was a forgettable, pointless footnote in the history of Mortal Kombat, just like the rest of the entire 3d era. The execution of Drahmin was terrible - he had NO combos whatsoever...nothing. He just had basic attacks and a few special moves. His Fatality was ridiculously stupid (as were ALL fatalities in MKDA). He even seemed stereotypically tribal African when he did his fatality.
"Mokojumbo batu botootoo!" *Crush head* "Mokojumbo batu botootoo" *Crush....head again even though it's not there anymore....?*
I feel like that entire era of Mortal Kombat was "We have 2 years to make this game, and we're going to spend 1 year and 10 months thinking up cool backstories and concepts that we aren't going to use." Drahmin was a prime example.
His ending was potentially interesting, but was again pointless as the character never appeared again (I don't count MKA).
Ugh. Drahmin. Quan Chi all the way.

That's the majority of MK characters in a nutshell.

I think that's MK in general.

Honestly, I'll take Drahmin's potential, which I think he has tons of, over the "other" sorcerer.
Quan Chi because the leg rip fatality in MK4 was head of its time.
You could say I voted to insure Quan Chi had a "leg up" in the competition.
Credits to some dude in an IRC channel on that one
YEAH, WELL, I DON'T KNOW YOU EITHER

Ancient clan rivalry boils over in 2016! When it comes to scum and villainy, Kano is head of the class in the Black Dragon clan! With a penchant for self-serving and survival, he has a cybernetic eye for ways to get ahead - selling out his entire world to make deals with Shao Kahn and Quan Chi! Daegon is the ancient head of the Red Dragon clan - arch-rivals to the Black Dragon! The Edenian demi-god was awoken prematurely from a slumber, leading him to wait impatiently for his destiny. In another lifetime he would've tormented Kano, but in this reality it's Kano who has the upper hand! Choose their destiny!... FIGHT!
Daegon has a ton of potential to be a major threat in MK11 with his underground Red Dragon army and the fact that he's a powerful demigod with a new moveset and a revamped look.
So my vote goes to the fallen son of Argus.
Personality: Kano. I love the accent.
Design: Kano. The eye is so cool, even after all these years.
Finishers: Daegon doesn't have any finishers, so Kano.
Backstory: Daegon. His was actually developed.
In a fight: Daegon.
The laser-eyed Aussie wins against scar-face 4-2-0.
By the way Mick, you haven't updated the tournament board yet, and it still says that Kung Lao won against Sektor in the percentages.
I predict that the next match will have Shao Kahn, Goro, or Johnny Cage.
He has always been one of my absolute favorites, and I "mained" him in both MK9 and MKX. His personality was fantastic in MKX, too.
Daegon...I never cared about him or Tragon, or whatever the hell the other one's name is. Two characters from Armageddon...an MK game that, to me, was as much a piece of utter trash as Special Forces was. They were both uninteresting characters and I didn't care about either of their fates. Apparently neither did NRS because they had no impact on the outcome of "armageddon", as MK9 showed us, despite the MKA "conquest" mode revolving entirely around them.
I hope they do bring both characters back and flesh them out in MKXI, since I'd like for them to have another shot, but I don't care about them either way at this point.
Kano all the way - a classic legacy character who has evolved throughout the franchise and become one of the best characters, both in personality and playability, 20+ years into the franchise.
