Im not too big on either of them but im going with Reptule because I used to like him whrn he was human. Takeda is the most boring character in MKX. His costume is ugly and he has no personality. Easily the worst of the newcomers. The whips arent even that great.

This one is very interesting. It's the past vs the future. Reptile has the legacy, uniqueness, and design. Takeda has fun gameplay, a connection to the rest of the MK world, and looks to be a major player going forward.
Reptile has had many designs (some amazing, some horrible) over the years compared to Takeda's meh two, but Reptile also has many creative avenues to explore with his design.
Takeda is the son of Kenshi and student of Scorpion, so he isn't the most original character. However, Reptile's interesting backstory hasn't evolved or added much depth. "Rebuild my endangered race." Takeda's background involves the characters and world of MK to a greater degree. This means Takeda's existence has an impact of the MK world. Can you really say that about Reptile?

I will have to go with the future. Simply because, Takeda's faults can be improved with time, and it looks like he will be here for a while. He is in the position to be a main hero and I don't believe Reptile could become that important. Sorry, Reptile

Takeda for me. He's my favorite of the new good guys and Reptile is...just another punching bag lackey that hasn't evolved in any shape or form since showing up in MK2 decades ago.

Really dislike Reptile in MKX. I never was a fan of the character, but MK2011 made me like Reptile a little more due to his fun gameplay, but in MKX I really dislike his variations. Not a fan of his voice either and his looks are boring (sick of all the green). I like him a little better in the comics.

On the other hand, I find Takeda annoying and his costume shitty. His gameplay is interesting at least.

I vote for Takeda. He was really cool in MKX, and he's fun to play as.

I want to like Reptile but his I think he could do with skipping a game or two the way hes been lately.

I went with Reptile because he makes me laugh. He's become ridiculous and lost a lot of his cool factor, yes, but I'm enjoying it. Dig Takeda too but I find him so hard to play.

Going with Reptile. He may get the shit end of the stick more often than not now, but because he is Reptile and he has pretty much always been there and I have always liked him, he is getting my vote regardless of what I think about his MKX self.

My all time favorite "ninja" Repteezy gets my vote.

Man I know she'll lose but I freaking love Ashrah. Best post-MK4 character concept, easily. I'd love to see a revamp for her next game.

Ashrah has a cool concept but she would need some work if she were to return.

Scorpion is Scorpion. Voted for him. Also, if I was in charge, I'd make the Hanzo costume his primary look from now on. A very refreshing change.

Scorpion has a lot going for him, since him and Subby are the face of MK. He's gotten get designs, a fantastic backstory (so good it's been told to death), some of the best gameplay every year, and a badass identity that people instantly get attached to,

Ashrah has potential. A character I would love to explore more of, but it doesn't seem like we will get that anytime soon. So, maybe one day Ashrah could compete with Scorpion. Not today, though.

I don't harbor any hate for Scorpion but I really like Ashrah.

I like Scorpion, but he's never been anything special in my eyes. Ashrah has the potential to be an awesome character whom I hope to see return in MK11, and this match-up is rather unfair (the icon of MK against a character who appeared in 2 games) so I'll vote Ashrah so she can lose with some dignity.

She is awesome with SO much potential. It's unfortunate she has been so underutilized. Hopefully we haven't seen the last of her. She'd be an awesome DLC surprise.
