Voted for Scorpion because he is iconic.
But Ashrah deserve a 2nd chance in the future.

Don't see why people are still calling the next generation teens, cause they not smh. But anyway, this was a tough choice. But i vote for Scorpion. I like both Ashrah and Scorpion, but he is a classic and I hope to see her in future games

I've never overly enjoyed playing Scorpion and really dislike playing against him. MK9 online..please don't pick Scorpion..please don't pick him again..and again..drove me bonkers.

Ashrah was an okay character from the old games but 'Come 'ere' is ingrained in Mk folklore. Innit?

Voted for Scorpion. His MKX look is the best I think and his story gets expanded as well in a completely new direction. Also love his role in the comic as well. Looking forward to what NRs does with Scorpion, I mean Hanzo, in the future.

Ashrah has potential but so does Scorpion now and Scorpion already is way in front of Ahsrah in terms of design, story, importance etc etc.

Voted Ashrah because she definetly has an interesting storyline and concept which would make me want to see her return but...who am i kidding Scorpion is gonna destroy her in terns of popularity and votes

Yeah, I was really surprised at how many people thought that about Takeda. Even though his look kinda resembles an armored Liu Kang with a yellow head band, I thought he had a ton going for him. I'd say he was one of the best newcomers, but that's just me.

As for this match, I went with Scorpion. Sure, he was kinda dumb and selfish in MKX's story mode, but he was a more fleshed out character, his moves have always been great and his gameplay is usually fun.

I know people tend to hate on him for how much love he gets from the dev team, but that's largely irrelevant to me. I still see a variety of ways his story can go and I still find him interesting.

As for his look, I'd love to be able to switch between the two at will, in match, and each one would have its own set of moves and combos. But yeah, assuming that never happens, his Hanzo look as his primary for at least one game would be cool.

I also find Ashrah interesting and love her story of a demon seeking redemption. I think that there's more that could be done along those lines as well. Only downsides for me are her weak moves and her whole "she-Raiden" look. Sadly, her alt wasn't much better.

Still, I want to see her again. Hell, she should've been in MKX as someone that went against Shinnok from his own realm.

Ah well, I'd have picked her against a lot of characters, but bad draw this round.

Scorpion

Ashrah was my favorite new female in Deception. Really liked her a lot.

However, Scorpion has always been in my tops across the board even if he is incompetent at times.

So, poster boy gets my vote.

I voted for Ashrah. She's an underrated character with an impressive story and was like, the only female not dripping with fan service from the first seven games.

Ashrah had a great concept in Deception but it went in a weird direction with Armageddon when she was just being brainwashed by the kriss to kill vampires.

I'm glad Scorpion is a human now. He probably prevented a lot of guys from being saved by killing Quan Chi but let's not forget Hanzo is neutral and has never interacted with them much. They mean nothing to him and the death of Quan Chi is much more important.

Still, I vote Ashrah. 3D era needs support.

Scorpion is do freaking overrated. All he does is go around and shout REVENGE!?!!,!*!*! €! €#€

I was never a fan of his moveset and I honestly do not like him at all.

I do have one problem with Ashrah tho. Her story could have easily been used for Sareena.

I like Kung Lao more. Baraka is worthless. I was very disappointed with Kung Lao in MKX. He also was pointless.

Kung Laos been my boi since MK2 but i have to say i really liked Barakas look in mkx.

Obviously going with Baraka, but this is a tough one for him to win.

Kung Lao has been one of my favourites for quite awhile. I am not the biggest fan of his gameplay in MKX although I played the crap out of him in MK9. I like Baraka and having a Tarkatan besides Mileena that's playable. Unfortunately we don't have Baraka playable in MKX and his appearance didn't seem to be anything special. For that reason and the reason that I would choose him over Baraka in MK9 as well I gotta go with Kung Lao.

Kung Lao is the home boy. Gotta vote for Lao. Baraka's cool, but henchman status isn't very impressive. I wish they had shown him more as a Tarkatan General in the storyline, since I think that's what he's supposed to be.
