@*SINNER* While I'm a tolerant guy, I consider that this part of your sig is excesive, not because they are 2 gay guys, they could be one guy and one girl or 2 lesbian girls and I will say the same.
The fact is that you are showing 2 half-naked persons kissing passionately with texts aluding temptation (a word that use to hint sexual intercourse) and stuff on a forum that is visited by people from different ages or that simply doesn't like to see others "having fun" this way (my english isn't good enough to say it with better words). You could be showing just a top-less man like one of the Sindel fans and I wouldn't have any problem, is just a body and he is just possing, but this one obviously is not a "romantic kiss between 2 lovers with all their clothes on from a love film that a kid could watch", just what I'm saying, keep it friendly to kids or just to people who don't like to mix this stuff with videogames ;)

If you had the same pick but one of them were a naked girl or one on bikini, on the same attitude, I will say the same. There are a lot of better ways to support this (like for example threads like this one) than "showing meat". A kiss on the street as said on previous posts is very distant from naked persons kissing. It's like compare olympic karate with Mortal Kombat xD
I'm not saying Disney level (please no xD), and I'm not telling you to hide homosexual material, I've been very positive about this thread for example. And while the game is for adults, everybody knows that kids play the game, and I remember some posters saying about going to school.
Anyway as I just told you it isn't just about kids but about people who doesn't like to mix sexual scenes with videogames. I'm not talking about opression, or religious beliefs or anything, simply there is people who isn't comfortable mixing sexual scenes when they want to read about videogames.

Because I know how this always ends, I won't post further. I don't like raining on other people's parades.
It's not offensive because of the homosexual content. I could care less about two guys making out. It's offensive because you're taking a concept (in this case, hell) from another religious belief structure and then trivializing it.
Christians do not celebrate hell. They see it as a tragedy. Any serious Christian holds the notion of hell close to the heart. Of course people will get offended if it's painted as something trivial, or in your signature's case, as something positive.

I forgot to mention it earlier, but my favorite female character is Sheeva, and my fave male varies. Some days it's Cage, others days it's Sub Zero. I have a couple of other male favorites so I guess I won't cast a vote for the men. It's a bit harder for me to decide which male is my favorite for some reason.

Here's the thing there are people who do believe in god in this thread, they have been extremely respectful to the LGBT community in this thread and on this forum, don't ruin it with your form of bigotry. I'm not Christian nor religious in any sense, but I'm personally offended that you would target people simply because of their beliefs, don't start that nonsene, it's not appropriate.

I'm not gonna lie. I do cringe a bit when I see your signature. I have nothing against homosexuality, but is there a need to flaunt it on a Mortal Kombat forum?
This isn't the place for it.
Yes, I realize that there are users here with gratuitous pictures of women in their avatars and signature, but most of them are Mortal Kombat related. The ones that aren't, I would also agree aren't appropriate.
Desensitization doesn't come from shoving a particular subject in someone's face. We don't need pictures of two men or two women kissing plastered all over the media to make people tolerant. I think it does the exact opposite, in fact. You're trying to force toleration, when it should come naturally.
Like TemporaryUserName said before. The key to harmony is communication. I also believe this. And what you're doing is counterproductive.
Look at it this way. People are sensitive to horror movies when they first start watching them. But is forcing someone to watch them going to desensitize them to it? No. It's likely going to traumatize them. They have to make the choice to watch them. They need to learn to tolerate it at their own pace.

I like how he said "your particular preference." As if having a straight couple doing the same thing would have been no problem.
"Imagery like that has the potential to alienate, segregate, and exclude other members or new members from staying, or becoming members on this site. And nobody wants that... especially because it's content that is not really relative to the content in the game. "
Well we have extreme violence, gore, and Mileena's tits and ass all over the place, but one mere user who doesn't even post much around here with one mere sig which only part of features one frame of guys kissing is gonna scare people away from this site? That kind of exaggerated biased thinking does not sit well with me.
And the second part tells me he thinks people shouldn't have sigs unless the content is MK related. Did he really mean that considering half of the users have non MK-related sigs or did he just mean that sigs should not be gay-related?
I'm sorry, I don't wanna start anything, but I just thought I'd let you guys know what he told me because it really bothered me and I do not appreciate being shadow banned just because of one guy's bias instead of for actually breaking any rules.
Again, I mean no disrespect to Pred. It's just some food for thought since we're all gays here and I'm sure most of you can relate to dealing with issues like this.

And someone already told you that if you have beef with a mod, take it up with them privately. By doing this, you already caused the entire thread to start talking about this issue more than what the topic of this thread is about.
Personally, I have nothing against gays, I'm at a college where I see a lot of them publicly displaying their passionate what-dos and stuff, I don't mind it. But honestly, this signature of yours... I don't think it needs to be here because honestly, not too many people on this site are against gays and well, your statement really isn't necessary here, especially since this site has to do with Mortal Kombat... A game, not religion, not sexual preferences, it's just about a video game.
This signature has caused more ruckus since Vash decided to post his face as the Joker... Honestly, it does cause a distraction for me. I have nothing against gays, but this is a bit distracting.
And this is probably the last time I'm posting in this thread too. You didn't need to edit your post, Sinner, to show what was said during your IM's, but like I said, if you have something personally against another user here, take it up privately. There's no need to get the entire MKO community to get on this. It's not our businesses, it's not our fight, it's yours and whoever else was involved.
Saying what another person has said privately out loud is just going to get another mod on your back and you may not like the consequences that comes after. Sorry, but what you posted, was kinda stupid.

This thread has completely derailed. When Sinner isn't provoking people in to religious debates, people start debating whether Scorpion is a top or not. I suggest everyone dial it back a bit becuase otherwise I can't see this thread staying open much longer. Quite frankly even if it stays open I'm not sure I'm going to keep posting. I'm gay and even I'm put off by all the flying dildo talk. I know they're just jokes but this thread should be some where that gay and straight people can post without feeling awkward. And they aren't adding sexuality to MK via Mileena, her suggestive dialogue, calling her a "man-eater," and the near-nude outfits every girl wears?
We can't even watch a Mileena fatality anymore without them emphasizing her fake boobs.
So yes. They are mixing sexual scenes with this video game. And if this site's administrator thinks there's nothing wrong, offensive, or unfit about my picture, then you'll have to stop telling me to change it and adapt.
