What can I say? I've been a long time fan of this cutie since MK2. His bladed hat really sets him apart from everybody else, and I've always enjoyed playing as him. The gameplay footage of Kung Lao for the new game has me chomping at the bit to main and play the shit out of him. I honestly think his hat is housing the rabbit of caerbannog.

Frankly I don't think the dude meant anything by it.

He didn't swear, he didn't insult anyone (at least not directly), he didn't make any threats, and he didn't technically say anything... incorrect. Cigarettes are bad and do cause diseases.

Now, I realize he was trying to make a joke in his use of a less common term for cigarettes, and I fully agree that this probably was not the best audience for that particular joke, but it was still just a bad joke.

Any female after MKG is on that list. My least favorite is Li Mei. She's a boring character all over, and kinda bitchy. And she sure likes stealing Mileena and Kitana's weapons lol.

I love all the designs during MKGold and before *except Stryker, but he looks awesome in this game!* I think that's why I'm extra hyped about this game

I don't really think my dislike for certain characters has much to do with my sexual orientation, but hell, let's take a look anyway.

I've always enjoyed Sub-Zero but I never really got into his counterpart, Scorpion. The blind rage thing was cool for a few installments, but really, blind rage isn't gonna cut it for almost 20 years of storytelling. Plus it was mixed with a "I'M A BIG STRONG MAN GET OVER HURR" vibe that really just rubs me the wrong way. Try for a subtle rage next time?

The only female characters that I outright dislike are ones from the newer installments, which shouldn't really surprise anyone. The classic six--Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Sonya, Sindel, Sheeva--are all among my favorites, but all the others (excluding Tanya) make me yawn. Kira always struck me as really underdeveloped in particular. It's like they pitched the concept by saying "I know...how about a female character that's really sexy? No, I mean like, really sexy."

Yeah at some point some pairings were thought up but I have to say, relationships of any sort don't really fit in Mortal kombat. I mean after all these games we've hints about relationships with Liu Kang/Kitana and Sonya/Cage but that's pretty much it. Not saying a love story can't work in MK just that most people are playing the game to beat people up rather then follow a romance.

If they ever did decide to make that leap I hope it would be a pairing that made sense otherwise it would just seem forced. Plus I really don't want to see Kano/Jax, or Scorpion/Sub, or anything to do with the cyborgs, or anyone who crawled out of the nether realm seeing as they're actually dead. And Female pairings are even harder since there are fewer female characters to start with. It would be difficult to tie up two of them in the same story line.

The more that I think about it the more I think it may be better to not have same sex pairings in MK :p

Least favorite? Hmm. Well, I've been sick to death of Scorpion and Sub-Zero since around MK4, but that's more from overexposure than anything.

My first thought was Nightwolf. I liked his alt in MKD, but overall he's just too stereotypical for me and seems out of place.

It will be an unpopular opinion, probably. But Nitara as well, for the same reasons.

No one's mentioned MK4 Jax in terms of attractive game models. I thought he looked mighty fine in that game. Cage as well. The guys looked really good in that game as a whoie.
