That's what I tallied. To be fair, I only picked one female and one male character from each gaymer's post. If there were multiple favorites, I only picked the first one mentioned *like if someone said their favorites were a tie between Sonya and Mileena, I just picked Sonya*.

Well I'd have to include myself in the bunch. It's good to see that there are a lot of gays who enjoy a game like MK, it kinda breaks a stereotype, if you will, that instead of us.
After all, MK is a FIGHTING game, not a man's game, meaning anybody can play. And kick ass...
Despite a lot of gays not being portrayed as "manly" as our straight counterparts, I still believe that straight & gay men as a whole have more in common than a gay man and straight woman.

I will say that I like characters like Kitana and Mileena seem to me like they're portrayed as the younger, immature type, especially lately... Kitana with her damsel ways and Mileena with this "childish" personality... Plus, something about a girl having another girl as a rival to me says that she might not be able to take on a man..

I like characters like Sareena and Nitara, girls who seem like they can hold their own against a man or woman, from what I can see. They seem to be more dark/gothy? Definitely not damsels, I can say that. I just like the idea of a powerful woman... lol and that's obviously not sexual....

But my favorite of all would have to be Sindel, when MK3 first came out I always thought of her as Shang 2.0 for some reason, but knowing she's the queen of Edenia so you know she has power, and I loved her portrayal in that one movie that needs not be mentioned... Despite her MK3 damsel moment, she was even powerful then, and her MKD storyline was pretty good too. She seemed a good choice to help take on Onaga.

As far as guys... i don't know, it's kinda tough... In the "looks" category, I'd have to say Kano now, even with the eye lol. Just love that aussie ruggedness, and the hair suits him SO much better. Loving the Trevor Goddard similarity

Well, well, well. MKO, you surprise me. Here I am, jaded as all hell about just how much immaturity seems to show through on this site at times...and we get a ten-page gaymer thread with little to no homophobia or bashing (until that last guy). I'm astounded and pleased. Way to go!

I'm straight, but I'm prone to effeminate traits. I'd call myself metrosexual or foppish.

Music-wise...well, I'm more into industrial or classic rock...like David Bowie. (That's probably the only man in the world I could consider myself gay for, incidentally).

My fave characters, male and female-wise, are Smoke and Jade. There's something about the 'stalwart friend' character type that makes them the best of B-listers.

Going to go the obvious route and say Rain's probably the gay member of the MK cast. Jade's crack about him choosing his wardrobe curiously (purple) could be a crack about Prince's clothes, but I just think she knows Rain likes looking fabulous, as it were.
