yeah, the Vince/Angle segment was pretty entertaining. It was great hearing vince saying that Angle is back as a active wrestler on SmackDown! because the show really needs him back. and Vince riding Eddie's rider was pretty funny.

When they took away Randy Orton's Intercontinental title, I thought they did it because they realized he's just a kid who doesn't deserve the title- which he doesn't. But when I read this, I realized that they only took away the IC title so they could give him the fucking world title. Benoit will lose the world title to Randy fucking Orton at Summerslam, and the main event itself is going to be Eugene vs. Triple H.

As reported earlier, Chris Benoit will not wrestle Triple H at this year's Summerslam event. Instead, it will be Triple H vs. Eugene in one of the RAW main events on the show.

The second RAW main event will be Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title. We are being told by reliable sources close to the situation that WWE is very interested in putting the title on Orton, and the plan right now is that Orton will indeed win the belt from Benoit at Summerslam.

WWE feels that this is the right time for Orton, and they will be putting a ton of pressure on him by having him defeat Benoit. There is a lot of feeling that this will do great things for Orton and the WWE, as The Rock was also in this sort of situation when he was given the belt, and he was able to grow into his role of being a larger than life superstar because of that opportunity.

It's factual, it's not even a matter of opinions. He's always been a fantastic technical wrestler, the sharpshooter and the crippler crossface are some truly painful submission moves that have really remained under rated over the years, as Benoit has almost no world titles in his carreer, and god damn it he sure as hell deserves them. He has extreme dedication, he is talented, he seems to be a pretty nice guy, and he was out for like, a whole year or so and he thought that he would never wrestle again. He's got so much more skill, experience and talent than Randy Orton. I'll admit that Edge does deserve the IC title, dispite what I said a few days ago... but I don't see where the WWE comes off taking Benoit's title away and giving it to someone like Orton. Orton, the fucking kid who has no experience, no talent (at least not that I've seen, his fights are extremely boring and the RKO is almost as stupid as the Worm) and IMO, his worst fault- the acting. At yesterday's RAW house show in West Virginia, Batista made a run-in after a ref bump, but Eugene appeared to counter the run-in. Chris Benoit then got the victory with the Crossface on HHH in the match. Usually WWE does "test-runs" at house shows for things that they plan to do in the future, so this could be something along the lines of what we will see tonight on RAW. Though as always, it is not certain so don't take it for anything more than what it is.


Huge Rob Van Dam News, Summerslam Update, RVD/WWE; More:

There was a lot of talk backstage over the weekend amongst workers on Smackdown! about the fact that Rob Van Dam has been "de-pushed" since being traded over to the Smackdown! brand from RAW. RVD has been wrestling on Velocity for two straight weeks. There was some feeling that maybe Van Dam hasn't re-signed with the company, but from what we've been told he has signed a new deal and for whatever reason, WWE is just not pushing him or even featuring him in any way at this point in time.

Summerslam is just a few weeks away, and that is not such a good sign for Rob Van Dam due to the fact that spots on the PPV are going to be difficult to obtain since it will be a split-brand show. RVD gets some of the best reactions from WWE fans, and it's amazing to see that WWE can't find an effective way to use him or push him into a role that would get him on the PPV and make the company some money. We'll see what happens.

After undergoing an MRI recently, Matt Hardy learned that not only did he have a torn MCL, but also a torn meniscus. While he will be out of in-ring action to undergo surgery, the pregnancy angle with Lita is still expected to last a full 9 months.

WWE Execs are talking about doing a complete makeover of Edge including a drastic haircut. Edge is fully against cutting his hair b/c he feels it is vital to him as a star. There are those within the company who believe Triple H wants to be the only wrestler with long hair.

Mike Bucci (Nova) tried out his new gimmick at the house shows this weekend. He plays a Richard Simmons exercise guru type gimmick which should debut on RAW shortly.

For one thing, I don't think he's cool. In fact, he is a Jericho wannabe in many ways. And as for Benoit, you can talk all that technical wrestling bullshit you want, but wrestling is fake, scripted, fantasy, just a fucking soap opera. And it is about entertainment. And Chris just isn't a good face to draw crowds. He has no real gimmick, and never gets the mike. Believe it or not, I actually wanted him to be champion. I just wanted to see what he would do with the title. And he's done nothing but a few good matches which are dragged down by bad writying and predictable plot twists. Yeahm I don't know how much longer we'll see RVD in WWE. As for Edge, the net doesn't seem to be able to make a decision on the matter, first there are stories that say yes he wants a new look, and others that say no he wants to keep his current look. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Everyone seems to be sitting on the fence on this one.

Wrestling is scripted, but that doesn't mean the wrestlers can just do anything the writers and coreographers tell them to. A good example of this is... well, Randy Orton. I'm sure it's not the coreographer's fault that he sucks.
As far as I'm concerned, Benoit's gimmick is that he is one of the most realistic 'big' superstars there is right now, and the guy who can make anyone tap out. Alot better than some shit kid who is a ''legend killer'', even though he's really shit. The RKO is a freaking joke. I have no doupt it would hurt if he would do it to me, but would it really hurt as much as... say, the stone cold stunner, the pedigree or the crippler crossface? I think not. It's sorta like a tornado DDT...only even less effective.

If Benoit has to lose the title to anyone, I'd rather have him lose the title to Kane. Even Batista has more talent than Orton.

World Wrestling Entertainment has been negotiating a contract with former WWF superstar Kamala, reports 1Wrestling.com.

Apparently, WWE wants to bring in the former superstar as soon as possible for an angle. No word is available on the current status of negotiations.
