Not sure how popular this game is to you guys, but I still stick with WWF Attitude... I'm sorry, this game was just hilarious to play...

i played 2009 last week. and totally hated the controls. i assumed you could change them, bc in the last one i played....07 or 08 i think...there was an option to use the "classic" controls.
they havent added anything good in a long time. they still have the same old create a superstar shit for the last 4 games. at least the create a finisher was kinda neat and fun. and the inferno match is just lame.

bragging rights was cheap the stuff I wanted to see happen did in the opposent
team smackdown won
smackdown divas beat raw divas
and miz beated morrison
I wanted to see ecw jumpin the mix but I guess that answers my question
WWE has 2 brands raw and smackdown ECW is just a side show it needs to be treated like a brand not a side show

Didn't like it at all. It's pretty obvious that WWE had Smackdown beat Raw just to get ratings for the B show. That, and that 14-man monstrosity should have been an elimination match anyway.
Cena over Orton was a given.

I agree smackdown beating raw was terrible the only match smackdown should had won was the miz vs morrison match the rest I wanted team raw to win but why wasn't there any ecw action at bragging rights aren''t they a brand of the wwe

Well the battle royal match I was in went pretty good. I was in there for a little bit got some stuff in and then thrown over the rope then I had to go in the back and went back to doin entrance music it's my second time doin over all it was a good day.
Now on other news.
Source: The Pro Wrestling Torch
Kevin Nash has been suspended from next week's TNA iMPACT! tapings.
The suspension is a result of Nash blowing up last week due to Chris Sabin's injury. Nash thought the match should have been stopped and then proceeded to go to the ring and cut an unscripted promo bashing the company.
All eyes were on Dixie Carter to see whether she would punish Nash over the outburst and that is what happened.
According to a source, there are more big things to come in TNA. According to reports, there is a bigger story on the way besides the Hogan-Bischoff deal. There have definitely been talks with Ric Flair and there was also talk of moving to Monday night head to head vs. RAW. There is also expected to be more TNA television as well with all of this.
They only planned to announce Hogan and Bischoff today but sources have told me there is lots more coming. Big changes and big stars coming in.
Vince Russo is still employed at this time and everyone says they will be working together. As soon as a problem arises though, things could hit the fan.
Hogan and Eric Bischoff will now be booking TNA.
This will be very very interesting to see how things turn out.

Hey firesnake glad things went well. Did you get to feel the crowd at all? How did going over the top rope go? It's not the easiest jump especially for new guys.
Regarding this Hogan thing.
People seem to be giving TNA a lot of shit because of this. Yeah, an old guy who couldn't wrestle in his prime, well yeah no shit but who cares? Hogan has never meant wrestling quality, but so what? He's only the biggest wrestling star of all time. He's not just some old guy, putting it in those terms is pretty ignorant. He gave credibility to WCW back in the day, and yeah he just gave TNA credibility too, regardless of all the bullshit that may be associated with Hogan or not.
The media world has NEVER EVER buzzed about TNA. Not even when they did that thing with Adam Pacman Jones. This does not compare to anything TNA has ever done. Knock this decision all you want, but nobody ever gives a shit about TNA and now people are actually talking about it.
You also have to give credit where it's due. Hogan didn't become rich or famous by accident. He knows main stream wrestling psychology as well as anybody else. He may not have a wrestling clinic with Bryan Danielson but he'll get people to react, whether they're hardcore wrestling fans or not, and that's VERY important for a company who wants to be main stream.
A lot of the dumb shit that goes on in TNA, Hogan knows how to identify it and stop it.
I'm not a Hogan fan personally but to see this has TNA signing just another big name with no quality is very untrue.

lol check out honky tonk mans say on the issue:
The Honky Tonk Man posted the following blog:
As an outsider looking in, I see the end of TNA. Is Hogan a double agent? Dumping Jarrett a few weeks ago, Russo having heat with every heart beating person on the planet to now work beside Hogan. Don't think so.
Hogan and WWe have been in bed for the last 20 years. Look what happened with the coke (cocaine) league XWF. As soon as they did all the tapes for to sell to TV, WWe pulled all the top players i.e. Hogan, Henning, Lawler and the list went on, thus killing XWF after they spent 30 million dollars.
This Dixie Carter has fell into the arms of the Hillbilly Jarretts, the Vince "man of God" Russo who said anyone over 30 was too old for the business! Now of all people, she wants to throw money at Eric Bischoff and Hogan. Good for you Hulkster, hope you kick some cheese back to Vince. I see the scam. TNA dead in 12 months.
WWe kills from the inside you idiots. WCW was the master plan. XWF was the next victim. ROH will fall when Vince wants them to go away. As long as they are not a PPV or TV threat, they will live on. Not wrong, just good business. Let the other guys spend and spend and spend, then take the top guys and the promotion starts to die. Tie up the buildings where they have no place to run. Case in point, WWe will tie up any buildings around the world after they see the numbers of the Hogan Aussie Tour.
Do you think for one minute WWe is going to let Hogan and Flair tour the world for TNA? Not going to happen.
Till we meet again,
Adios
im hearing rvd is shoping for a good tna deal.
theyre gonna have to get out of orlando and go on the road if they are gonna expect to pay all these ppl

I never denied Hogan was a draw. You'd have to be living under a rock to think that. He's obviously the most popular and well known wrestler of all time. There's simply no doubt about that.
That being said, my message is simply that this is not what TNA needed. It's what they think they need, but honestly this is going to be ugly. Whether or not it "works" or not isn't the problem. WCW competed with WWE, but at the end... was WCW even watchable? Could you even really enjoy it after a certain point? The answer is obviously no. While there were quality talents on the roster, WCW as a program gradually became so bad because of the booking. Now you have, virtually, that same booking in TNA now. You've got entirely too many individuals who you could partly hold responsible for bring down WCW all under one company? It's just going to be abysmal, and basically I just feel for the quality talents TNA has, much the same way I felt for the guys in WCW.

Yes I wasn't completely disagreeing with you Crow, just pointing out that it's not all bad.
Yes, Hogan and Bischoff (and of course Russo and Nash who have already been in TNA for a while) may be ingredients for disaster but the truth is they may also be ingredients for success. TNA is catching attention already and Hogan hasn't even appeared in TNA TV yet. This will probably be make or break for TNA.
My point is, this might actually be exactly what TNA needs. It has the young talent, it has the veterans, and now it has the one name that can change the tide of a wrestling company. I remind you that while this may seem like WCW all over again, it's actually quite different. Bischoff has matured as a producer, Hogan can't stand Russo right off the bat so I'm sure he'll shoot down whatever dumb ideas Russo will throw at him, Kevin Nash has also matured and he's not just looking to put himself over everybody else and make the most money he can like he was in WCW, and more importantly, there's no more ''ATM Eric''. Panda Energy and Dixie Carter aren't made out of money and they wont let Bischoff and Hogan just do whatever the hell they want.
If they keep them controlled enough, things might actually click this time around.

It was just dreadful. ZERO fucking logical psychology, and it was just one long, boring, shitty, shallow "hardcore" match. Practically the first minute starts off with Orton whipping Cena into the corner and running in after him, except Cena falls down at Orton's feet and Orton has to visibly pull his foot back while he's running to prevent himself from kicking Cena in the head. Why would he prevent himself from kicking Cena in the head and getting a free pinfall if not shelving him and winning the entire match? It's a mystery. That in itself wouldn't be too bad, but what makes it worse is that it's not until the last minute of the match that Orton has this epiphany to just soccer kick Cena in the head to beat him. Which he had the opportunity to do not only in the first minute, but throughout the ENTIRE match (which pretty much consisted of Cena on his knees and Orton looking at him). So the predication of half the matches supposed "psychology" (Orton trying to destroy Cena, largely) was completely shot to hell and ill thought out, to put it kindly.
And that's like, barely scratching the surface of why the match sucked and made no sense, I can't be bothered going into other stuff in much depth because it would be like writing a ten page essay. I don't even know why WWE would have booked them in an Iron Man match to be honest, it didn't need to happen, and if it did need to happen, it didn't need to happen like that. Basically it just consisted of one part hitting each other with shit, one part falling through furniture, one part random Cena superman comebacks wherein the previous fifteen minutes of him getting his ass kicked never happened, two parts Orton slowly punching Cena for no reason, and three parts Orton standing around doing absofuckinglutely nothing whatsoever except holding his face or trying to look deranged. I mean aside from making no sense, it was just flat out boring as shit. And I actually like slow wrestling as a general rule (coming from a guy who loves watching 70's AJPW matwork with ten minute headlocks for example,) but this was just quite literally a waste of time.
Pretty much the only people who will tell you this match was good are people who love garbage wrestling and/or WWE marks who don't watch anything outside of WWE and TNA. If this match had occurred in CZW in the exact same way with the exact same caliber of talent I have no doubt whatsoever that it would be widely panned as being the worst professional wrestling title match of the last ten years.
Anyway, in other news, HUSTLE just folded and closed it's doors, which raises questions about whether the more over the top "sports entertainment" type of pro wrestling is as much of a draw in Japan as many people want to believe it is. There's a bit more to it when you look at the specifics of why they stopped running, but it's still interesting to think about.
Regarding TNA: this is the most publicity they've ever received, and that's what they wanted. So in the short term, this is great for them. In the long term it's an unholy shitstorm of Apocalyptic proportions waiting to happen. Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash, Ed Ferrera, Hulk Hogan, Insane Kurt Angle, and God only knows who else, all trying to coexist in the same promotion? It sounds like something the Joker would throw together just to see what would happen.

Zentile I really didn't get to feel the crowd all to much in the royal cause I was in there so fast and it just flew by.
I don't think I was in there even for more then a min. I basically got kicked, head in the turnbuckle, punched and chop then was thrown out.
Goin over the top rope was very easy for me I did it great and got the right had positioning and all that. But I do have to say when I was first learing it I as hesitant cause it's just feels very unnatural to just throw yourself over like that. But once I did it and got I was great from there.
Now can't belive HUSTLE folded i'm really interested as to why tho.
And as a few people said as of right now TNA is makin people talk and turn their heads. I'm really lookin forward to see how it all pans out and what kindof changes are going to occur.

For starters interest in pro wrestling is down so nobody's attendances are great to begin with. But when HUSTLE was backed by FEG they were spending ridiculous amounts of money, over hundred grand per appearance for some guys, etc. After the Pride FC yakuza scandal broke, HUSTLE wanted to distance themselves from the bad image of organized crime so they dropped FEG's backing. Problem was, they didn't cut their costs, so suddenly they were a modest promotion still spending insane amounts of money like they were as big as WWE. Eventually the money just ran out, they couldn't afford to pay guys anymore, and that was that. It didn't help that they lost a couple of their biggest names like Takada, which badly affected the public's interest in the promotion (therefore attendances) already.

After reading about everything, I guess i'll throw my two cents in on the entire Hogan/TNA scenario.
Number one, this deal benefits Hogan and Bischoff far more than it will TNA. Hogan has complete creative control over TNA. A great way to gimp a lot of hard workers and make himself look the immortal he always claims to be, and wouldn't you know, it comes just in time for his Hulkamania tour of Australia. I won't doubt this may pull in some numbers for a few weeks, but most of what I've read(take that for what it's worth) says this deal is short term for Hogan at best.
Bischoff on the other hand managed to snag a hell of a first look development deal on all new TNA programing for his production company. This obviously includes getting nice and cozy with Spike TV brass.
This is just how it looks from my point of view. Who knows, I could be wrong, but I just don't see what Hogan and Bischoff stand to do to improve this company as opposed to their own financial situations. Dixie Carter has a history of just blindly tossing money around for things that amount to nothing more than short term gains(Sting, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Mick Foley...I could go on).
If you require proof for what Bischoff thinks of TNA, just check out the comments he made with The Sun earlier this year doing press for CCW,
The Sun- What was the thinking behind doing CCW? Surely you and Hulk could have made a lot of money by going to TNA or even going back to work for WWE?
Bischoff- Neither one of us were interested in TNA. It's a small organisation that doesn't have very much vision...There was nothing exciting there for Hulk or myself.
The Sun- Have TNA approached you at all about working for them? What would be your advice to them if they want become a true challenger to the WWE like WCW was?
Bischoff- There's no vision for that company...They are people who have never been to the dance. They've never been a part, really, of any of the decision-making processes that led to the success of the industry. For me to sit down and say "listen guys, this is what you have to do to be successful" would be like telling a three-year-old how to fly an aeroplane. You can try all you want, they're never going to get it.
Once again, not saying these are his feelings today, and who knows, maybe Hogan and Bischoff really want to try and make an effort to make TNA legit competition for the WWE....I just honestly doubt it is all.
Thoughts?
