I agree with u, man!

Randy Orton should'nt have win that match. He got lucky. The ref was down when he tapped out. But John Cena's peformance was'nt good.
What's crap with that is we'll still have WWE title matches with Orton.
And it's like that since Wrestlemania 25.

That's beyond laughable honestly. I'm willing to bet more people internationally watched the Super Bowl earlier this year than an entire season of Entourage.

Cool, I guess we'll all just forget about you saying that Shaq being Shaq meant nothing? Cause THAT's beyond laughable.

SO true. WWE has always been about entertainment, not ''real'' pro wrestling. Pro wrestling fans watch Japan, Indies, midcard WWE matches... WWE fans want the Cenas and Batistas and DX segments. Steel chairs, hardcore matches, girls getting stripped to their bras and panties and beer are NOT pro wrestling.

compared with guys like Madden, Emmit Smith, Warren Sapp, Gerry Rice, Jason Taylor i'd say that Roethlisberger ain't as well known internationally, and just cause the Super Bowl is broadcast in dozens of countries every year don't mean that everyone watches it, and therefore knows who all the football players are. outside the US the NFL ain't as all that exciting

Having Oroton as champion since WM 25 isn't crap, what IS crap is that we've had non-stop matches with Cena/Batista going up against the person defending their title since they became such a muck around the industry, and that was WAY before Wrestlemania 25... Time for a change in heart for Cena? It would be so hilarious if he went into the heel side for once... Starting to actually miss the retarded gimmick of him pretending to be a rapper.

And honestly, with all you guys complaining about who's the guest host, does it really matter? I mean, seriously, it's a host for one day, it's not like they're really doing anything, they're not in charge, Just more like "this is an alternate way of getting more money...

Haha okay, Jason Taylor a bigger star than Big Ben... righto. I'll admit the Shaq thing was a poor judgment; yeah he's Shaq... but my original point was simply that Ben is one of today's biggest NFL stars.

I love this amazing theory you have about how Cena is a God in the WWE, and things that could actually do him good would never happen... Oye, first off, Cena CAN suddenly change Heel. And heck no, I'm not going to think of the kids for this, seeing how more than half of the crowd's population that actually cheers for the ass are nothing but kids.

Not to mention, I'm watching the same CRAP over and over again. You're sick and tired of watching Orton "cheat" scriptingly, while I'm sick and tired of seeing the person he fights happens to be Cena. Honestly, I can't see how people enjoy this guy. He sounds like a retard on the mic, he's got barely any moves to throw up against, it's like I'm watching a re-run. The guy needs a heel change because it's the same old crap, he makes kiddy jokes, then when finally something happens to where he gets beaten down badly by Orton and his crew, he gets all pissed off and chants "Come get some..." Honestly, who likes a retard that throws out gang symbols? Some role model for kids to look up to huh?

So please tell me, how would this actually ruin Cena? Because all the kiddies lost a hero? Last time I checked, Bret Hart went heel yet he had hundreds of little kids looking up to him as a hero... I don't see how this could ruin him, seeing how if he did turn heel it'll be whenever Vince or whoever writes the stuff feel that it's time for a change. You sir, just wrote something that made me laugh until it hurt.

It would not "ruin" Cena. It would ruin t-shirt sales...hence, it won't happen.
but it will be interesting to se him heel as for his sales goes who cares it's about time someone else get there share of the deal rather than having cena get all the glory

and the bragging rights ppv hmm a smackdown vs raw ppv isin't a bad Idea wait what about ECW is that a brand or a sideshow

Vince McMahon...just off the top of my head. While it does indeed suck to see John Cena, Superman, every week, it would make ZERO sence to turn the WWE's biggest merchandise selling star against the **paying** customers. Economics beats Thug-a-nomics everytime.
but it will be intersting to see him heel he's been a babyface for far too long now as a matter of fact most of those guys who has been wwe champs has been babyface for far too long it's time for some interest in them instead of the same stuff everytime

Not saying a Cena turn is going to happen or that I even care, but consider that people said the same about Punk. "He has some of the highest merch sales of anyone in WWE, and his clean image and natural body type is exactly what the company needs right now; it makes no sense for him to turn heel in the foreseeable future." Look how that turned out.

I quite don't understand Punk's sudden heel change if his character is meant to show off how such a good person he is by being a Straight Edge or whatever... That doesn't make sense to me. Here you have a guy that does so many good things and all of a sudden you make him into a bad character... Yet, I don't really care much of Punk anyways but still since we're on the topic.

All face wrestlers should suddenly change heel here and there, not wait five years before the sudden change. I mean, we've already had wrestlers do that, from Edge, to Jericho... and even from being a heel to a face with Triple H and Batista.

And while others are bringing this up, doe merchandise really matter? You've got other wrestlers who do good with their products, I don't see how merchandises will be effected with a sudden heel change. Rey Mysterio may not be the biggest superstar WWE has to offer, but he has a lot of his products being sold a lot, same with Edge, Triple H, Taker... I don't think anything would be ruined by a sudden change in character.

Well Cena's a kid character because he's so kid friendly, that's why he sells merchandise. If he turned heel, kids wouldn't love him anymore. There's a few cases of heels who sell big merchandise like Edge because they're just too cool, but Cena isn't cool enough to be a big merchandise sales as a babyface.

BUT, I don't think it's that big a deal anymore. If fans stop buying Cena merchandise, they'll just buy Rey or Taker or Tista merch.

Cena will turn heel for sure, but not just yet. I'm sure it'll take a while.

i've got a bit of sad news to report:

WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was recently forced to pull out of a number of previously scheduled appearances as a result of a serious illness. In a sad update on the situation, I can confirm that his cancer has returned. However, this time it's believed to be terminal as he's not expected to live much longer.

According to a well-placed source within World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon has informed creative to prepare to scrap a segment or two for next week's Raw as he is planning on running a few video tributes honoring the wrestling legend — just in case.

Piper, 55, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in November 2006 after doctors found a cancerous tumor on a disc in his spine. Back discomfort had forced Piper to leave WWE's tour of Europe and return to North America in order to undergo surgery. In the weeks that followed, Piper spent the majority of his time in a local hospital, undergoing extensive radiation treatment in hopes of vanquishing the cancer that had invaded his body. While the cancer would eventually disappear, as noted, it recently returned.

Several websites such as Rajah, Lordsofpain, and Wrestlezone reported that Roddy Piper was diagnosed with terminal cancer and only has a short time left to live.

PWInsider.com is reporting that these rumors are 100% untrue. According to Piper's representatives, he was advised by his doctors to take a break from his work schedule to recover from some health issues and is doing so.

NoDQ.com reported yesterday that Piper canceled some scheduled appearances due to health issues. But when we heard about the terminal cancer story, we were very skeptical of it and decided to wait until there was a further update on the matter.

Want to know how many people watched Super Bowl 43? One billion. Close to 1/6 of the world's population watched one football game. If everyone in the world didn't know about Big Ben, they certainly did after that game. Know how long it takes for WWE to get to one billion viewers? At the rate they go at (usually somewhere between 6-8 million per week between the three brands), we're talking about anywhere from 2-3 years, including PPVs. I think it's reasonable to say that Raw is having all of these guest hosts to try and spike ratings, regardless of walk of life. Nobody watches Raw because there's this little thing called Monday Night Football. Maybe you've heard of it. Smackdown? Nope, that's on Friday, and anyone with a social life isn't sitting in front of their TV watching it (note for any hypersensitive people/fanatics... that was sarcasm). ECW might as well stand for Extremely Crappy Wrestling, because that's what it is, since it can't even pull a million a night sometimes.

Also, let's talk about the guys you mentioned. Except for Jason Taylor, none of them are relevant anymore. Sure, they're in the Hall of Fame (except Sapp), but nobody talks about them unless they're already talking about something that a current player is doing. It's also laughable for you to try and say that a defensive player has more notoriety than a quarterback, especially a defensive player whose real claim to fame is Dancing With The Stars. Would you rather have had Sidney Crosby as a guest host when it was in Pittsburgh? I'm sure that would have gone over real well.

I'll only begin to scratch the surface about how wrong your claim that the NFL isn't that exciting to other countries is, because yours has ITS OWN FOOTBALL LEAGUE. Plenty of Canadians care about the CFL, or else it wouldn't exist. NFL Europe was pretty successful before the economic downturn, and that was in 5-6 different countries. American football is really catching on in Japan as well. If the NFL marketed itself in other countries the way the other three major sports leagues did, they would be so huge that it would be ridiculous. They don't do it simply because they don't need to.

an update on Piper, with more to come:

source: twnpnews.com:

In regards to our earlier report that Roddy Piper had been diagnosed with terminal cancer, one of Piper's representatives contacted us to say that Piper has taken time off for health-related issues after wrapping his most recent film, but that he has not been diagnosed with a terminal illness or terminal cancer. Piper has been advised by doctors to rest and take a break from his work schedule. Piper's representatives may be releasing an official statement soon. Please do keep Roddy in your thoughts and prayers as he's not all that well these days. There is said to be more behind the time off.
