Why should this make me happy? Without Booker T Steiner is certain to not be tag team champ.

I am happy for TNA though, it's clear Booker has been a pain in the ass for the company.

-- WWE has changed the name of it's February pay-per-view to the Elimination Chamber, according to the Upcoming Pay-Per-Views list on WWE.com. The original name was No Way Out. Seriously? What is it again that they're trying to accomplish here?

I also wonder what's the interest of changing the name of every ppv.

Seriously? What is it again that they're trying to accomplish here?

there trying to increase the ppv buy rates and own the dominince of the ppv
but I do agree that an elemination chamber ppv sucks what's next a steel cage ppv? a ladder match ppv this is getting ridiculus

It's nothing new, WWE already did it with the three brand elimination chamber matches in one PPV, and I'm sure that's what this one is going to be as well.

Naming the PPV after the match type is incredibly dumb. What are the wrestlers who aren't in the gimmick matches supposed to say in their promos leading up to the show?

''Dolph Ziggler, at Elimination Chamber, I'm gonna beat your ass''

Except that makes it sound like Dolph Ziggler is actually going to be in an elimination chamber match. No Way Out was a fine name for a Chamber PPV.
exactly what I said the match names turning into ppv names suck dick big time well except two matches itself royal rumble and survivor seires{but I think they need a differnt way of doing it than a 5 man elimination match} but what you said abvout three brands doing an eliminationchamber never happened because the ecw title was never defended inside the elimination chamber{and i'm not talking about the ppv december to dismember}it was defended in a singles match so yeah all in all elimination chamber ppv sucks big time needs to go back to no way out but with a different match type

And now Mick Foley has heat in TNA for all his lobbying bullshit; No surprise there, just like Booker T, it's obvious that Foley has gone to TNA to do whatever the fuck he pleases, regardless if it's better for the company or not.

from twnpnews.com

seems WWE ain't done with the PPV name changes:

» WWE have sent out another survey to their mailing list asking the fans to help rename yet another PPV. This time it is Judgment Day. According to the list on the survey, fans can pick from the following names: Judgment Day, Riot Control, Multimania and WWE War Games.
Multimania? You've got to be kidding me. I'd vote for that just to hear how stupid it would be for the commentators to promote it and for someone to say they challenge them at MULTIMANIA!!!!!

The war games! SHOCKMASTER!

Good lord though, I don't think they "listen" to these polls though. No way people are telling them these are "cool" at all... Multimedia wtf?

War Games returning would be fucking sweet.

Or at least a tag team elimination chamber match.
I don't think so as for them changing judgement day please wwe don't we don't need anymore special match types ppv than what we already have or had

I'm laughing at all these sudden changes with the ppv names... I really am. It's hysterical, we the fans now have an opportunity to name a PPV Multimania... Bahahahaha
It's all the PG crap now. I guess "Judgement Day" isn't family friendly. But they have a PPV named Hell In A Cell. Go figure. Whats next, instead of the Royal Rumble its the Royal Get-Together

Piven calling it Summerfest wasn't actually a botch on his part, he just accidentally spoiled the name change.

lol. The "Multimania" name change shit isn't real, it's was started as a trolljob on an imageboard, which the dude later admitted in a thread which is still up. The guy shooped a WWE.com poll, posted it as "news" for lulz, then some retarded dirtsheet believed it, picked it up, and then all the other dirtsheets followed suit. That's where you get your pro wrestling "news" from. 4chan trolls.

It has nothing to do with it being PG. Like you said, that theory doesn't make any sense since they changed one of the titles to Hell in a Cell.

They're just looking for naming PPVs after themes.
I know wwe pg sucks and the new ppv name changes suck well exept bragging rights but I would rather have cyber sunday than a smackdown vs raw ppv

...Cause you were always opposed to the idea of Booker joining TNA. But your right. Steiner is on his way out too because of Jarrett's hiatus from the company. Question is, where is Steiner gonna go? In every interview, he shits on Triple H so I doubt he'll ever step foot again to the WWE.

He's going to be out of television, where he should be.
He doesn't even do correct Frankensteiners anymore... last matches I saw him(and I don't see him often) were just paaaainful to watch. I could see a four year old look more believable.

bfg was perdy good.

lmao @ the ref botch during the monsters ball match.

my only complaint about it was the weird endings to a few of the matches. didnt like the end of the morgan/angle match, and i really didnt like the end of the sting/aj match.

I was opposed to Booker T going to TNA? Gotta say I don't remember that at all.

Steiner is old, rich and injured. He doesn't have to work, hasn't had to for a few years now. He had fun in TNA bringing back the Frankensteiner, doing some proper wrestling again like amateur takedowns, tagged with Rick Steiner again and won the tag team championship. He says goodbye to his career by putting over the new wrestlers and taking one fuck of a bump by getting bombed through a table off a ladder. It was pretty brutal considering how old Steiner is and how many injuries he's had.
I'm satisfied, I think it's a pretty good way to end his career. Maybe he'll do a few more indy shows but he'll stay off TV I hope.

As for Bound for Glory. I thought it was the fucking shits.
