It was great to see Regal wrestle, just like it's great to see u back Ghost Dragon.. :)

Olympic I think it was his old music, don't quote me tho.

I don't know what's the bigger shock, Kane tapping out to the crossface or Lita actually looking cute at the end of Raw..

Which music did Regal come out to?

The music he had in 2001-2002, watch your Royal Rumble 2001 dvd, that song.

Speaking of William Regal, I actually like him now, I also like the fact that he handed HHH his ass, until Eugene attacked him. Willia Regal is underrated, and it's good to see him back in the ring.

Theres a famous story about Regals wrestling ability
-He wrestled since 15
-While backstage, WCW wrestlers would insult those in the ring, however no one could ever pick a fault with him!

He is the most under rated wrestler in the entire industry, a great face, an even better heel, lets hope WWE uses him properly.

BTW a question I have been wondering, does Eric Bischoff actually have power in the WWE, or is it all an angle, because he would have had some more WCW wrestlers back if he had enough power.

I really like seeing Regal in any match. He brings class into the ring.

I don't think Bischoff has any power other than being able to bring up ideas with creative control. But then again he was well liked in WCW by most of the talent and had a great deal of support in opening talks to bring Goldberg & Steiner in.

Just read the results from last night's RAW... Sargeant Slaughter?! Is that THE Sargeant Slaughter?! Isn't he like 50 years old or something? Geez what a fast paced match it must have been...
From the looks of it, it seems like another episode I won't regret only being able to see in four weeks time...

Shiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!! Man, the last time I saw Sargent Slaughter it was obvious that his age caught up with him. He was really heavy, but last night that man almost looked like he was 12 years younger, except or the hair. I mean DAMN, he really got in shape and he looks like he can move around in the ring pretty well. Sure as hell looks faster than Hogan! grin

Damn, all he needs to do is start watching Billy Blank's Tae Bo and in 3 or 4 months, he'll be prime for a comeback! grin

Hmmmmmmmmm... maybe it's the Tae Bo that's gotten him into shape recently.

wow Someone needs to interview than man to see what kinda workouts he been doing to look that good.

JR - SHADES OF THE DYNAMITE KID!

Raw pretty much sucked. Stacy looked hot. Edge Jericho match was a good match to watch. Diva search = Booo, they already have signed the winner. Regal/HHH was a good match. I like Regal, hes a great worker and Eugene and HHH is always entertaining. What can I say, the rest of it was crap as usual.

You didn't like the Kane/Benoit match? I heard it was a very good match.

Anyways, what the hell was up with the pairing of Sgt.Slaughter and um, Rhyno? Sght.Slaugher and Rhyno? what the hell? and sence when did Rhyno turn face? did I miss something here? am I asking to many questions?

What the hell is up with all these weak-ass build ups to there PPVs. Vengeance is next week and they barly started making matches THIS WEEKS! and the WWE wonders why there buyrates are so low. HYPE YOUR PPVS BETTER!

Yea I forgot, that was a pretty good match too. BUT Kane shoulda won that shit. I know you woulda been happy as would I and alot of other peeps. The ending was stupid, Benoit had him in the Crosface and then Kane rolled him over so Kane was on top of Benoit reaching for the ropes and he tapped. I was pissed.

On a side note, cuz Benoit's shoulders were down and Kane was on top of him, I think Kane shoulda won the match. If you saw the match you know what im talking about.

Slaughter was on just because it was 4th of July coming up and they hyped the USA a lil bit, tho they still lost to those French goons.

Rhyno has been teaming with Funaki I believe on the house shows, take that as u will, but he may be taggin from now on..

Yeah, I'm thinking he meant Tajiri! Funaki is on Smackdown. Any way, My review of Raw is that I thought it was really good. Since I don't give a flyinf fuck about Smackdown right now, anything on Raw is ok. This whole Lita/Kane/Matt Hardy thing is insane, someone say Jenny Jones or Oprah! LOL!!grin

Also the Eugene/Triple H thing was hilarious shit, and Regal looked in pretty good shape, no ring rust at all. Next week should be interesting.

Sting/Flair, Booker T/Cena On AOL, WWE/TV Guide:

There was a picture in AOL's "Did You See That" section of the sports part on their website of John Cena slamming Booker T from the PPV this weekend.

The webcast extras for the Bash PPV at WWE.com were great. Ric Flair did talk about Sting, saying that Sting can still make a run with WWE and he talked about how much he admires Sting and that he has not spoken to him since the final Nitro. The rest of the interview just discussed some of the things in his book.

In the July 4 - 10 issue of TV Guide which comes to newsstands this Thursday, but most subscribers are getting today, in the Cheers and Jeers column they have a jeer for The New WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield! It reads as follows: Jeers to pro wrestler John "Bradshaw" Layfield, who got fired from his day job as a CNBC analyst for giving a Nazi salute during a match in Germany. Why did the cable net hire this dummkopf?

Current WWE Vengeance PPV Card:
The following matches are scheduled to take place at Vengeance, confirmed on RAW this week:

- Randy Orton (c) vs. Edge for the Intercontinental Title.
- Chris Jericho vs. Batista.
- Chris Benoit (c) vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title.

Sting's Autobiographical Film On DVD, Trailer Now Online; More:

The autobiographical film titled "Sting: Moment of Truth" is now available on DVD. The film stars Steve "Sting" Borden as himself and it takes a look at Borden's life from a Christian point of view.

A special website has been launched that gives background information about the film, a trailer for the film, and much more. The website also mentions some special appearances by Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Lex Luger, and Jeff Jarrett in the film.

Several months ago footage for the film was shot in Nashville, TN using several NWA-TNA wrestlers. Bert Prentice is noticable in the trailer - which also features some old footage of Sting's WCW matches.

The complete film trailer, a film synopsis, and DVD ordering information can be found at the official website for the film, StingMomentOfTruth.com.

Live Report From A Fan who Attended WWE RAW Last Night:
Thanks to John Massey for the following:

About 75 percent of the top concourse of the Coliseum was tarped off and I would estimate attendance at around 5,000. The crowd was hot for the dark matches and Heat tapings as well as the first hour of Raw and then the main event. There were some things that killed the crowd though that I will get to.

During the show and the opening tag team match, the fire alarm went off for a good five minutes. After a minute or so, the crowd chanted "Y2J" to the beat of the fire alarm then erupted with cheers when it finally went off (if you noticed a crowd pop during a rest hold during that match).

After the show went off the air, Chris Benoit took the mic and said "I proved that I am the best technical wrestler in the world and Kane, tonight you joined the 'You tapped out Club.' "

Some other notes:

For nearly fifteen minutes after the opening tag team match, there was nothing for the fans there live at the arena. After a hot opening segment and good tag team match, that idle time began to kill the crowd.

After the opening segment, Evolution headed to the back then their music played once again and Batista and Orton made their way out back out during the break.

There were only four matches on the show. In addition, the matches involved Evolution, William Regal, La Resistance, Chris Jericho, Edge, Kane, Benoit, Rhyno and Sgt. Slaughter. Rhyno hasn't been used in a long time and there was no explanation for his team with Slaughter. In addition, of the 12 actual wrestlers, only 11 are full time wrestlers and only 10 used frequently (on a roster of 38 guys with about 32 healthy). And creative says that they don't have anything for a lot of guys...

The only other talent on the show was Bischoff (a non-wrestler), Coach (another non-wrestler), Matt Hardy (not in action) and Eugene (played the role of a special referee). I should also mention that the mix of Eugene/Evolution was featured in six of eight segments on the show. After the first 70 minutes of the show, it was clear that Raw has become focused around those men.

The Regal/HHH/Eugene setup was done well, but the match was poorly executed. It had the potential to be so much more. The crowd felt cheated by the quick ending after a short contest and the half-hearted effort put on in the match. In addition, the crowd didn't know how to react to what was going on with Eugene attacking regal. The most amazing part is that this was the point when the crowd turned on Eugene and led to when Bischoff announced Eugene would be interim GM next week as a point where I believe they greatly damaged Eugene. In the course of two hours, the crowd turned against Eugene (remember "Blue Chipper" Rocky Miavia being shoved down our throats and what happened?). The crowd was estactic at the possibility that Flair would be interim GM, but once they found out it was Eugene, that changed quickly. It is also quite obvious that Triple H will use Eugene for his Vengeance match against Benoit to win the title back (like he always seems to get back). It also seems apparent that Kane did not chokeslam Lita because of the fear of a miscarriage, but later on down the line, it could result in one still happening but the baby being Matt Hardy's or a third person (why not Eugene right?). Then again at the WWE, the birth will happen in eight months (two months WWE time) and Lita will give birth to a alien baby dragon that breathes fire. And she'll call it Kane Version 2.0.

I must also mention that during the Smackdown rebound, the crowd booed a great deal. Furthermore, it seemed like no one in the audience knew about the results of the previous night's event. That says two things. A) No one ordered the event and B) People in the area chose not to go, despite Norfolk being less than an hour away from Richmond. The fans seemed quite disgusted with the footage of the Taker/Bearer angle and Layfield winning the title (you must remember, this is old Mid-Atlantic and NWA stomping grounds).

Vengeance only has three matches and it already looks WAY better than the great american bash.

The whole Eugene/Evolution/Regal thing is starting to grow on me. its actually starting to become really funny. just as long as Triple H doesn't win the title back. Than I'll start liking him even more now.

I am amazed. I mean I am truly amazed. I didn't think WWE could fuck up any more. I thought they had hit the bottom and could only go up (or stay at the bottom, like they even try). But I was proven wrong.

JBL as champion? Bullrope (get it... heh heh...) He's being made champion despite his stupidity? Someone like Eddie Guerrero gets pressured into snapping back at the crowd (which, how should that matter since you could consider it playing heel to the crowd), and getting punished. Yet JBL plays Hitler for a minute, actually committing a crime in Germany, and not only DOESN'T get punished, but made champion? Jesus Christ, how do you top THAT double-standard?

Undertaker "killing" Paul Bearer? God, I hope not. Bearer was thrilled to be back in WWE, and now they do this. What's the fucking point of bringing anyone back if you're gonna send them off in short time? The only reason Taker would kill Bearer is because Heyman has the Urn. I would like to believe that they'll eventually have someone else take possession of the Urn, thus taking control of Taker, but then again, I'm not on the WWE creative team, which means WWE still has no creativity.

If the creative team can't think of anything to do with the 50-60 superstars the WWE has, fucking fire them and get some people who will. It's just plain stupid that it no longer matters how good your in-ring skills are, your mic skills, your talent with the crowd, none of it matters anymore. Your career is now dependent on a group of brainless twits who, if they decide to not do anything for you, pretty much fire you.

There's many a good superstar that could be a great part of WWE if they got their heads out of their asses and realized it. Randy Orton, Mordecai, Taker, Eugene, Jericho, Kane, Benoit, Flair, Batista, Cena, Dudleys, ect. If they used what little brain they had, the creative team should find ways to use these superstars like they should be used. Train them, make them wrestle, make them do things that heels/faces do, and quit wasting out time with bullshit promos, 20-minute trash talking, and other unnessary crap. A 2-hour wrestling show should have WRESTLING, with the storyline as the backbone (and the storyline has to be good, where the hell has THAT aspect been)?

Excuse me, I need to play Smackdown 2, use Stone Cold, and play a few matches kicking Vince McMahon's ass all over the place.

The "Old Wrestlers" sometimes bring a little bit of enjoyment for me. I like Srgt. Slaughter and I really was hoping he and Rhyno would have kicked ass. La Fem Resistance are a couple of panzies who don't deserve to be tag champs, it spits in the face of every good team to have ever won those titles. Alpha_Q_Up, don't completely give up on WWE just yet. Raw is actually pretty good so just stick to watching them and foget about Smackdown right now.

Official WWE.com RAW Preview (7/5): Eugene As GM!
The following is from RAW.WWE.com:

INTERIM GM EUGENE
July 5, 2004

Throughout its incredible 10-plus-year history, Monday Night RAW has featured some of the most unpredictable moments in sports-entertainment history. But this Monday night's show -- live from Winnipeg, Manitoba -- may just be the most unpredictable, the most outlandish, that we've ever seen.

General Manager Eric Bischoff is taking a vacation this Monday night, and he announced that he's handing over control on a one-week interim basis to his nephew, Eugene! That means Eugene will be calling the shots on RAW!

With just six days to go before Vengeance, absolutely anything -- and we really mean that -- could happen this Monday night on RAW.

And don't forget that Winnipeg is the place where Chris Jericho grew up. What will Y2J -- who will face Batista at Vengeance -- have in store for his hometown fans (and for Batista) this Monday night?

Watch Monday Night RAW at 9/8 CT on Spike TV to find out.
