SD! needs to do more with Mordecai, I would have rather seen him fighting for the US title, this would have make the match more interesting.
SD! needs better writers, having Eddie vs Layfield again! NO THANKS, the highlight of the card for me (apart from Sable vs Torrie) is the US title. IVE HAD ENOUGH OF EDDIE VS LAYFIELD!

Amen. I wish Guerrero would lose the title to Booker T.

I would bet that GAB gets the lowest 'buyrate' out of all PPV's this year.
The card looks absolutely dreadful, JBL is not a headliner, especially two ppv's in a row.
None of these matches had any type of good build-up, and the Sable vs Torrie match has no reasoning behind it.
And now no more Paul Bearer?? They said tonight is his last night in WWE, so there goes that angle..
On the bright side, Raw is on tomorrow night..

Black_Dragon, I seriously doubt that the accuracy of your predictions, but we'll see. I plan on getting it, I'm watching with a friend.
BTW, anyone know who's thread on this board has had the most replies, is it mine?? I hope I'm catching up.

TNA PPV Buyrates and Cable TV Ratings, PPVs Moving To Orlando:
We have some news regarding TNA's recent television viewership statistics this afternoon.
It is believed TNA is drawing about 7,000 buys per week for its Pay-Per-View shows. In terms of doing weekly television, the company is losing at least $70,000 per week.
The debut of TNA on Fox Sports Net on 6/4 scored a 0.16 rating, which would be about 110,000 homes. While at face value it may seem like this is a very low figure (this past Monday's RAW had 27 times more viewers - almost 3 million homes), a 0.16 is much higher than Fox Sports Net had been getting in that time slot prior to TNA Impact taking it over. Executives at FSN and TNA both anticipate Impact's viewership to grow over the next several months.
In a related story, there continues to be talks of moving the weekly TNA PPVs to Orlando, Florida - where Impact is currently taped. Travel costs would be reduced and the production quality is much higher at Universal Studios.
Major Possible *SPOILERS* For Great American Bash:
- Torrie Wilson vs. Sable was a modification from the initial plan which was for the SmackDown! divas to participate in beach-related tournament of events. It is not expected to be a good match, but to be fair, very little on this show is looking good.
- Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio is one of the few matches those backstage are looking forward to, but due to the fact that the storyline buildup was weak and the title has little value, it's almost a meaningless match at this point.
- If Mordecai vs. Holly and Kenzo Suzuki vs. Billy Gunn do end up on the final card, neither is expected to be good. The hope is that Mordecai goes over Holly in a big way, but with Holly's veteran status and attitude towards young wrestlers, things may not go in an ideal fashion.
Update on Paul Bearer's WWE Status, Wrestlemania XX, WWE Home videos:
- According to several people Paul Bearer will once again be dropped from the scene after the Great American Bash PPV tomorrow. As you may have noticed, since Wrestlemania, Bearer has only been used a handful of times on television along with the Undertaker. It's unknown if Paul will take a role backstage or if he'll be dropped completely from the company. As reported earlier, WWE announcer Rue DeBona was let go after her contract was not renewed and WWE creative team member Dominic Pagliaro has also quit the company.
- Only three WWE videos managed to make it on the Billboard's Top Recreational Sports chart for the week ending July 3rd. 'Wrestlemania XX' took first place, 'Judgment Day 2004' was in third and 'Backlash 2004' was in eighth.

Mordecai VS Holly? Did this match get any build at all?! Can't remember seing Mordecai on SmackDown lately, I'm trying to figure out how are they supposed to push him if he doesn't wrestle... I think he's probably the second best character on SmackDown at this moment (being The Undertaker the first of course) but they're more busy joking around with JBL.
What they did with the cruiserweight title was a complete joke... first they put it on Jacqueline, now they fire her... then they put it on Chavo Classic, they fire him... nice going.

No the Mordecai/Holly match didn't get much build to it at all. They both were seen brawling in the back on SD last week and suddenly they're both in a match, go figure!-:)
I personally don't like Mordecai, so I hope he loses. As for what you said about the Cruiserweight title, I agree, it's sad that they are wasting a good title, not only by giving it to people who shouldn't win it (Jackie and Chavo Classic), but also, always the same guys fight for it.
killax, old news bud. Yeah there are allot of pages to this thread, pretty good if I say so myself, lol! So, TNA had a vignette of Hardy on
Impact, looks like this is a long term deal between both parties.

I seen it coming with Jaqueline being fired. She's been there for awhile. If I can remember correctly the 1st match she had was against Sable in A Bikini Contest match at the 1997 or '98 Fully Loaded. The PPV with Ken Shamrock and Owen Hart fighting in the Hart Dungeon.Triple H vs The Rock in a 2 out of 3 falls match.
Good Times...Plus she was in WCW for awhile.I think the following will be released soon:
Matt Hardy(I haven't been watching wrestling lately but I heard he has some kind of story going with Kane and Lita over Little Hell Boy(Kane's Baby).
Spike Dudley-HE HAS TALENT.BUT THE WWE WON'T USE HIM!
Mordecai-His name...'Nuff Said
Chavo Gurreo-I don't see him being in the WWE for a long time.He was good in WCW though. He wasn't breaking up and making up with Eddie all the time.By the way are Eddie and Chavo really related in real life?
Hardcore Holly-He's okay. But he's one of those wrestlers that just pop up every once and awhile then die down again.
and just for fun:
VINCE MCMAHN!

During a documentary called Monday Night Wars, Eddie says "he was worried about his nephew Chavo" in regards to the WCW situation, so they seem to be indeed related in real life.

Yep, it's official, Smackdown! sucks a big one...
The ONLY good thing that can come of this, is someone new like RVD or Cena winning the title, tho it will probably go back to Eddie...
In any event, JBL sucks, Smackdown! sucks, this whole thing sucks...
thank god for Raw..

Even with JBL as Champion. I still think SmackDown! is lightyears ahead of Raw right now. Theres still alot more things happening on SmackDown! that are better than Raw. Like Undertaker turning heel and siding with heyman and the dudleys.
also, JBL winning the title is a shocker. I'd never thought they do it. I just wanna see where it goes from here.

Exactly, I couldn't agree more. Smackdown is dead to me now, for awhile, at least until JBL loses thee title. What a shitty ppv. Was ok in the beggining, but went down the toilet during the divas match, and never recovered. Stupid ending, but I must say congrats to Rey and Cena, didn't think either were going to keep their titles. Oh well, Raw is waaaaayyyyy better, so I guess I'll watch until they do something stupid.

As much as I respect your opinion, I do not agree that SD is ahead of RAW. I would much rather have HHH as a champion than Bradshaw. But I do agree that the Undertaker angle is good. Oh well, I guess it's all based on preference.

How can someone say SMackdown is lightyears ahead of RAW, just compare BAd Blood to Great American Bash, Bad Blood was so much better.
I cant believe that Bradshaw got the title even after the incident in Germany. I bet that won't settle well with too many people in the back.

WWE SD! sucks.
It use to be the superior show, back when it focused on wrestling. But you know, WWE hates wrestling, if it were up to them they wouldn't even have a ring...WWE originals anybody.
SD! has the cruiser division, Cena, Eddie, RVD, Taker, Booker T, RVD, Charlie Hass, Angle, and Heyman...and you mean to tell me we get Bradshaw as Champion, Paul Bearer Murdered, and the following Matches (Torrie/Sable, Mitsubishi/Gunn, Mordechai/Holly, and Reigns/Hass)...inexcusable.
