I don't usually trust sites like Gamespot or IGN for reviews, but allot of the time they get the scores right on, when they say a game is bad/good it usually is bad/good.

Jeff Hardy/WWE, New WWE Agent, Backstage SD News:

- Even though it's currently unknown what kind of commitment Jeff Hardy has made to NWA:TNA, Jeff was scheduled to go to Impact today, so if he has signed a deal with NWA: TNA, it's all a moot point anyway. Even if Jeff hasn't signed a deal with NWA:TNA, WWE's position on Hardy is crystal clear. As you may or may not know, Jeff left the company because he would not deal with a personal problem that they felt he had, largely because he felt that he didn't. He would only ever be brought back to WWE if showed that he had addressed that problem and people close to him have said that he still doesn't believe he even had a problem to begin with, so it appears that the sides are at a stalemate any way.

- Gail Kim and Nidia, two Raw divas, attended the Smackdown tapings this week and made very different reactions on wrestlers. Gail Kim, who is said to be dating Doug Basham, got over very well with the talent. She was described as "extremely nice and considerate." Nidia, on the other hand, also attended the show and came in with what was described as a real “Diva attitude.”

- Good things are being said about the job that Steve Keirn has been doing as an agent for WWE. People have said that he has been very helpful with the talent and is already becoming very well liked.


Kid Kash Trashes NWA:TNA; Says He Wants His Release:

In what was meant to be a a phone call checking on his condition, Kid Kash shared that while he has indeed suffered a broken fibula, if this was ECW he would be more than willing to wrestle through the pain.

Kash stated his frustration with TNA comes from only a select group of wrestlers being allowed to have merchandise such as T-shirts and videos, delays on receiving royalties on what promotional items have been made, and the basic salaries paid to the wrestlers.

The big payouts to Lex Luger-types, the independent booking fee, and backstage politics were also mentioned by Kash--who has previously asked for his release from TNA, which may be willing to grant it with a 90-day non-compete provision.

A perceived favoritism to certain wrestlers (Raven, AMW, Styles) combined with things such as water no longer being provided to drink in the locker room, has affected the morale of other wrestlers in TNA--who feel they have no real alternative until WWE knocks at the door.

Brooke Hogan/Britney Spears, Brooke Hogan Notes; More(HOGAN'S GOT A COCKY DAUGHTER!):

Brooke Hogan is getting a lot of publicity out in the air with her first single "Everything to Me," which is getting a lot of radio play in the Tampa area. There was a photo of Brooke in Sports Illustrated where she talked about singing the national anthem at the Tampa Bay Lightning games and Hulk Hogan being the unofficial mascot for the team, ripping his shirt off before the games.

Brooke had tried out for both "Star Search" and "American Idol" though didn't get picked, even with her name and father Hulk's connections. Brooke said that she realized her father could open some doors for her, but she has to have enough talent to get through those doors. There will be a Brooke Hogan special on MTV next month. In the article, Brooke also made the comment that she has the potential to be ten times bigger than Britney Spears.


Member Of WWE Creative Team Quits Company:

We have heard that a member of WWE's creative team, Dominic Pagliaro, resigned from his position this week. He had been telling many people backstage that his genius within creative was not appreciated. Dominic was not happy with the company, as he was not given the raise he thought he had earned, and he also gained a reputation of being a video producer that did not understand the business and had no idea what he was producing.

Stephanie McMahon had shown some favoritism towards Dominic for quite some time, but it has been said that he rubbed many people the wrong way with his disrespectful attitude towards many of the wrestlers' hard work and sacrifices.

As an example, before all of the workers set off for their European tour Dominic was overheard bragging about how he flies on the WWE company plane. That did not sit well with many, as a lot of talent travels to destinations either on normal flights or by car.


Mordecai Scared, Takako Inoue News:

Vince McMahon is still very strongly behind the Mordecai character. Vince continues to think that the character will be a major success in the long run, though the word in the locker room is that Kevin Fertig has some potential but he is too nervous right now to get over properly. One source has even said that "He's terrified before he even goes out there."

New WWE signee Takako Inoue from Japan is headed to Minnesota to train under Brad Rheingans so that she can familiarize herself with the American style of pro-wrestling. On a funny note, John Laurinaitis had asked her how old she was during her tryout. She told him that she was 35 (which is true). Laurinaitis instantly got a shocked look on his face and told her that she looks like she's 23. Takako was reportedly thrilled to hear that.

Backstage Eugene News, Writers Pushing Eugene Too Hard?; More:

Many members of the RAW locker room are very happy for Nick Dinsmore, in that the Eugene character has taken off more than anyone originally thought that it would. There is some concern with the character though, as many feel that the writers are pushing the Eugene character too hard at this point in time.

There are some people that feel writers should try and pull away from the character a bit so that it can stay fresh long-term. There was an article in the Louisville Courier-Journal about Eugene recently which stated, "Showbiz is full of smart folks who were smart enough to make a mint by playing dumb. Add Nick Dinsmore's name to the list." Dinsmore adds; "Some guys have careers that last one or two weeks or months, and some guys know how to evolve themselves and change with the times. Eugene is one of those guys, I think."

Whoops, my bad! I just got it now! I get a little too ahead of myself!

I normally don't get TNA much any more compared to before. My friend and I get it, or I just get it. I thought last night's was worth getting, it was except the ending. OK matches, and I forgot to mention a few Legends. I only recognized Larry Zbyszko and Harley Race and Dusty Rhodes, not sure who the other old-timers were. Pretty funny when Larry and Russo thought they outsmarted Jarrett and smashed his guitars. All in all, an ok show. Here's too another year of TNA, may they finally get guys worth watching. LOL! J/K!

I mean LONDON pulled off some crazy moves in there. and Shannon Moore did an awesome Hurricurana elimination over the top rope which looked pretty badass. Forgot who he did it to. the WWE REALLY need these guys to wrestle on SmackDown! more often. leave the shitty guys like Jindrak,Gunn, and Holly on Velocity.

Dupree vs RVD was a pretty good match. Booker T cracked me up while comentating.

Kenzo's wife is pretty hot. but Kenzo's match sucked though.

Cena Vs Undertaker was a damn good main-event IMO. nasty cut on Taker's arm though.

Dude, they should have more Smackdowns like tonight more often! Undertaker kicks ass! Kenzo is just another wrestler that starts off big but really starts to suck later in his career. Sucks John Cena lost but Undertaker was the better wrestler.

Cruiserweights = ratings. Nice to see them put some effort in their booking.

Well, one of the Rumor Matches for Summerslam is Eddie vs Undertaker for the WWE title in a casket match. If its true, I would love to see that match, and I wouldn't mind if Taker won the title either sence hes been on a role sence returning at Mania.

Yeah, Smackdown was alright. I guess. The Cruiserweight match was a let down for me. I was hoping someone other than Chavo would have won the thing. I'm getting tired of WWE only using the same 2 guys over and over again.

Huge News: Ken Shamrock Scheduled For TNA Next Week?

NWA: TNA continues to pull off major bookings as well placed sources in the company are now reporting that former NWA champion Ken Shamrock is scheduled to make his return to the company next week.

Shamrock, who won the NWA championship at the very first NWA: TNA PPV in June of 2002 has recently been training for UFC. The Most Dangerous Man made his return to the Octagon last week where he defeated Kimo via knockout.

TNA who booked Jeff Hardy and Big Vito on this past Wednesday’s PPV have already announced that Dennis Rodman will appear on NWA: TNA Impact! next week and now there is a good possibility Ken Shamrock will make his return with the company as well.

Paul Bearer Done, Rodney Mack/RAW, Johnny Nitro; More:

The current plan for Johnny Nitro is that he will return to RAW as a babyface after heading down to Ohio Valley Wrestling for some training.

We have heard some talk of WWE bringing back Rodney Mack with a refined character once he returns to the RAW roster. There was some talk of him possibly doing a takeoff of the Junkyard Dog character, as Junkyard Dog actually was the original trainer of Mack and his wife Jazz. Mack's "Red Dawg" character in ECW was a similar character to that.

There is much indication that the Paul Bearer character will be completely killed off in the coming weeks, most likely as soon as Great American Bash this Sunday on PPV. It has been said that Undertaker has not put up much of a fight to save Bearer since he realizes that he would be fighting in a losing battle. Also, Undertaker has been said to not be too thrilled about having Paul Heyman as his manager, as Taker has had heat with Heyman since late last year.


Jeff Hardy/TNA Update; Raven:

Jeff Hardy had missed his originally scheduled flight to Nashville on Wednesday for his TNA debut against A.J. Styles at the 2-Year Anniversary show. There was some concern on the TNA management side, and they even went as far as to look at their possible alternative plans. However, Jeff Hardy made it at the show in time to work his match. Hardy did not show up at the Impact! tapings in Orlando last night, leading some to believe his appearance last Wednesday was a one-time shot.

Raven was not at the Wednesday pay-per view due to a bad case of pneumonia. It sounds as though they aren't going through with the planned tribute to The Sheik, instead displaying a scarecrow with a picture and Raven's quote.


Undertaker Full-Time Heel Turn?; Benoit/Edge,TNA:

FX Officials were said to be very impressed with NWA-TNA's debut of Impact and have expressed interest in bringing the show to their prime-time slots on the network.

The Benoit vs Edge match at SummerSlam isn't a sure thing as there is still talk of HHH moving into the picture for the title match against Benoit.

It looks like there may actually be a heel turn in the Undertaker's future. There is currently some talk of having him stay with Paul Heyman and the Dudley's, eventually leading to a feud with Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Title.

Unfortunately Canadians don't get Impact on our Fox Sports Net. I really would like to see it though. Hopefully we'll get it eventually. Canada never got TNA until a couple of months after their formation.

Jeff Hardy's TNA Return Date Revealed, Billy Gunn Backstage At TNA Taping:

Billy Gunn was backstage at the TNA Impact! tapings this week. Gunn lives in the Orlando area and just stopped by to visit several friends. Former WCW worker Kid Romeo and Apollo were also backstage.

We have been told that Jeff Hardy is scheduled for next weeks Impact! TV tapings.

Despite Chad Collyer and Hotstuff Hernandez working the Impact! tapings this week, they have both not signed contracts of any sort.

TNA has now stopped referring to themselves as "NWA-TNA". They have been plugging just the TNA name in general and have been plugging the website as TNAWrestling.com. The only time the NWA name is used is when they refer to championships as NWA titles.


Charlie Haas & Jackie Gayda Dating At TNA Show:

Charlie Haas and Jackie Gayda (who are now currently dating in real life) were sitting in the crowd for the TNA Impact! show this week.

Even though Impact isnt the official TNA show, I still am impressed with it. I would love to see the real show go from PPV to Cable. If it did, I would watch it every night it was on.
