Two questions. First, who's this Mordecai guy? I have yet to see him in action. Are ya'll sure he's not Brock Lesnar with an image change (Owen Hart/Blue Blazer)? Also why did Brock Lesnar leave the WWE?

There trying to make Mordecai like Jesus. He looks like Raiden in his Alternate costume in MKDA.I guess he's supposed to be this really powerful wrestler but as MKGeek pointed out he's only wrestled Cruiserweight's.

Thanks guys, I've only left WWF(well WWE now) for a few years and its all gone crazy! SO many different belts and wrestlers etc. From what u guys say it seems a little messy and jumbled, but maybe thats cus I haven't been following it for a while. More questions, how are the Hardy Boys doin these days? I used to love watching em flip around the ring like mad men! And who is the best/most dominant wrestler in WWE now? Cus I think I saw Chris Benoit AND Eddie Guerro(sp?) with Championship belts? I mean, wtf?

Actually, it is very organized. It just sounds a more confusing than it is. And yea, right now, Benoit holds the World Heavyweight title, and Eddie holds the WWE title. As for the Hardys, Matt is on Raw, but Jeff left the company. There have been rumors of Jeff coming back, but who knows if that is true.

Jeff Hardy left? Any reason in particular why? He was my fav of the two, and used to pull off sick moves! Like backflippin of the top of the cage! Another question!hehehe, how often are cage matches used now? cus they were always a fav of mine...

Well, I think Jeff had some drug problems. Im not sure. And there still is the occasional cage match. You just missed one between Jericho and Christian a couple of weeks ago. It was nice and brutal. lol. And there is gonna be a Hell in a Cell match at next Raw PPV. That should be cool.
wow... i guess KSRX would benifit to watch some FMW from Japan, or something like old ECW.
Granted, I have completly given up on WWE. They seem not to care about the talent they have, as shown with the lack of push for amazing workers such as Paul London, Spanky (he ruled in Ring of Honor and NJPW), the entire ECW Alumni, the whole InVasion (which I was at that PPV... boy did WWE edit out a LOT of boos for the WWE "superstars"), while continuing to force-feed the fans stuff like Justin Layfield and this new Mordachai, while telling him not to sell to anyone anymore.
I saw earlier someone complaining about how HBK deserves everything he gets. I don't agree. Yes, he can put on great matches, but so can a great deal of other wrestlers (Chris Benoit, Amazing Red, AJ Styles, Lance Storm, etc.). Yes, it has been WELL documented that he uses his political (and some people say his "religious", which I find funny, since Christianity stands for helping God's fellow child) connections (i.e. "The Kliq) to get stuff that he doesn't need. Chris Jericho NEEDED that clean victory back at Wrestlemania XIX, but HBK got it, and it did NOTHING for either career.
I have given up on WWE, and now with the direction NWA:TNA is going, I am just about done wtih them (Rod and Dick Johnson, anyone?).
Man, isn't EWR/TEW a GODSEND!!!
Well, I must say I'm glad to see other professional wrestling fans in here!
Also, someone asked about the wrestler Mordecai earlier, asking who he was. Mordecai went by the name "Seven" back in Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE's "farm league", along with Luther Raynes (I probably just butchered his name there, but he went by Horshu), Matt Morgan, Johny "Nitro" Hennigan, Matt Cappotelli (who was ORIGINALLY supposed to win the Cruiserweight Title instead of Jaqualine, but went down with an untimely injury, thus leading to the WORST CRUSIERWEIGHT CHAMPION.. .EVER!), Eugene (Nick Dinsmore... can't they just let him wrestle like he did against Chris Benoit without this "special" gimmick, which is apparently a rip at a mentally deficiant child that follows WWE from town to town.), and others. Also, Brock Lesnar, Charlie (and originally his brother, Russ, who sadly passed on weeks before their big debut), Shelton Benjamin... the list goes ON and ON! It's amazing to see how big Ohio Valley Wrestling has been for WWE. If only they would allow people to keep the gimmicks they had in OVW than the "supernatural" gimmicks that they get in WWE...

Drfatality Wrote: krsx66 Wrote: MetadragonX Wrote: No problem. Well, Raw and Smackdown talent are exclusive to their own shows. Sometimes a wrestler will get traded or "drafted" to the other show, but it doesnt happen that often. The time you saw was right after Wresltmania, when Vince tried to change the roster around a little bit. So no crossovers, unless the wrestler is officially changed to the other show. As for PPV, each show will usually have their own PPV. (like Smackdown just had Judgement Day). But the big events, like Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, are comprised of matches from both shows. Did that make sense, or did I jumble it up? No that was clear as crystal, thanks. Thing is why did they separate the two? And finaly why did WWF, WCW and I think ECW all join together, and what year did it happen? I think in 2000 Vince bought the companies.A bad move IMO.Rumor has it that they split the rosters to save money another bad move in my opinion. |
Actually it happened in 2001. It was a bad idea, but then again it was a good idea because it enabled guys from WCW and ECW to wrestle for WWE fans who may not have seen them before. If it had been done right, the "Invasion" angle might not have been as shitty as it was. Vince just didn't use his resouces available to him very well. The Roster split was done to save money yes, and if it too had been done better, it might be worth while.
sinlessknowledge, to answer your questions, Lesner isn't Mordecai with an image makeover, the WWE ain't queer eye for the wrestling guy, and number 2 Lesner left the WWE to make a name for himself in the NFL as a "football playa", I think he's a goof and good bye too him.
Yeah, remember Wrestlemania XX, where the chant going around was "Fuck You, Lesnar!" and such. The MSG fans knew Lesnar left WWE for the NFL. Whatever, just don't come back!
The InVasion angle could have been the best thing ever! They did good by lightly sprinking Mike Awesome, Stacey Keibler, and Lance Storm over the product, just to salivate the fans. Then they breathed new life into the InVasion by bringing in the ECW name. Then it all went to crap when they used the SAME stars to promote the WCW name (Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, the entire McMahon family, making it another "McMahon vs. McMahon fued..."). However, bringing in people like Steiner, Goldberg, and Bischoff after the InVasion angle failed, along with the nWo, did NOTHING for the long term, and cost the WWE quite a bit of money. I'm glad none of those people are still with WWE (Well, Steiner is, though he's injured, and Bischoff doesn't have too much stroke around the "offices"... that's Triple H's job!)

It was absolutely amazing how quickly the Brock to NFL rumor spread, I'm still in awe of that. I love the Eugene character; though, I'd like to see him start sticking up for himself, not just have rondom superstars come to his aid - though, that Rock segment is going down in history. Also, if Gail Kim only had an ass...man, that would be top tier.

Goldberg Hand Injury Update, Steve Austin's Return; & More:
As reported here earlier this month, Goldberg had to pull out of the 5/8 HUSTLE-3 show due to a hand injury. As a backstory, Goldberg was rushed to the hospital when his hand swelled up prior to a K-1 show on 4/30, and needed medical attention and surgery. The wound had been left open to heal and hadn't closed, and right now Goldberg is resting the injury which should be healed within a week or two. As of right now Goldberg is scheduled to main event the July HUSTLE show, but no other information is known right now.
Dream Stage is still in talks with Steve Austin. There were some hints at the last HUSTLE show earlier this month in Yokohama that the company may indeed be very close to a deal with Austin, though at this point Austin is not in much of a hurry to make a big move in wrestling or rush into a big match. Though, Austin is very interested in the marketing opportunities in Japan and it has been noted here in the past that Austin has been looking into merchandising over there.
Update On Bret Hart's Current Whereabouts:
This is not 100% confirmed at the moment, but Bret Hart is looking to do a childrens play "Aladdin" in November and December of this year in Toronto.
It will be more of a personal challenge for Hart to see if he can handle the pressure and remember the lines of the play. As mentioned in an earlier post, Bret has made a tremendous recovery though a serious stroke such as the one he suffered still leaves behind devastating affects.
Hart was also expected to film a piece on 5/19 for the Discovery Channel on the physical punishment involved in being a professional wrestler.

Triple H vs Shawn Michaels in Hell in the Cell has been annoucned for Bad Blood. that should be a great match IMO.
Fact: Bad Blood 2004 is the first time sence Summerslam 2002 that Triple H was not in a World Title Match at a PPV. and both non-title matches have been/will be against Shawn Michaels.

I'm just gonna come out and say how damn good RAW was. Letting HHH and HBK go at it like they did, including mowing over Bischoff in his own office, was great. Hell, they went ahead and ditched any buildup to the brawl and just had HBK attack HHH out of nowhere (along with the sudden security and referees that somehow did the same thing). And it was funny that every other RAW superstar had to hold them apart when Bischoff announced Hell in a Cell. Hell, HHH interrupted Bischoff by breaking out and going back after HBK. That was just great; piss off Bischoff more.
I had a feeling Benoit would be Eugene's tag partner. I know you can't really beat The Rock coming out to his aid, but Benoit can get the closest crowd reaction possible.
Y2J getting on Orton was good too, because I could see these two getting involved in a feud. You could even bring Christian back into it, since Christian is a former Intercontenintal champion. Though I'd prefer they twist it by having Christain start a feud with Orton first, since Tyson Tomko took care of Jericho instead of Orton doing it. But of course WWE won't go that route to mix up the rivalries.
