Thats what I was thinking. Its not the person himself, but the other person that is always around that person.

Heres an interesting peice of news...
WWE.com currently has a yet-to-be-named RAW PPV on October 19 Tuesday Night, but there have been many rumors that the Halloween Havoc name is being brought back.
being that the PPV is in October, it would make sence to name the PPV Halloween Havoc. I could imagine how cool a WWE HH set would look like

Eddie Guerrerro's UPN Special Rating, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman Possibly Headed Back To WWE:
- The Eddie Guerrero special that aired last night on UPN "Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story", scored a 1.6 overnight rating, with a 2 share.
- As reported yesterday, Sean "X-Pac" Waltman spoke with some of his old friends at Judgment Day. There are rumors going around that WWE is interested in giving Waltman another shot. Waltman would not be a full-time wrestler due to his neck problems. If he were to get signed, Waltman would be a TV character and have a backstage role. His relationship with Triple H and Vince McMahon may help him get another chance working with the company

Jeff Jarrett/WWE, Ed Ferrara; More:
There is a picture of Jeff Jarrett in the Backdoor section of WWE.com as a part of the "This Week In Sports Entertainment" feature of the website. Jarrett won the WWF Intercontinental Title back in 1999, this week.
Former WCW/WWF writer and TNA commentator Ed Ferrara aka "Oklahoma" is teaching a "Writing for Television" class at Columbia College in Chicago.
More Austin News; Easy WWE Return, Barry Bloom, Japan; More:
Austin has been talking a lot lately with Barry Bloom, who is the agent for Mick Foley, Bill Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Triple H among others. From what I've heard, there has been nothing signed between the two parties but if something get signed we can expect Austin to begin working matches in Japan and appearing for DSE's HUSTLE promotion.
The feeling out of WWE is that they hope Austin signs something with Bloom, as they feel dealing with Bloom about a possible Austin WWE return would be a lot easier compared to Austin's current management, which WWE claimed were giving Austin bad advice. The feeling out of Japan is that Bloom is a tough bargain, and it would cost them (Dream Stage) a lot more money to sign Steve Austin if Barry Bloom was involved with him as well.
WWE Notes: HBK, RVD, Hogan, Nowinski, & More:
Couple of media mentions:
-Today's "Sun Herald" of Mississippi has an interview-article with Shawn Michaels. It's online now located at SunHerald.com.
-Today's "St. Petersburg Times" has a detailed piece on Brooke Hogan (Hulk Hogan's daughter). The article talks about her singing career, famous father, and more.
Just a reminder, Rob Van Dam, Chris Nowinski, and Chavo Classic will be the guests on today's WWE.com "Byte This!" webcast.
Stephanie McMahon/TV Update, Hart, More:
Stephanie McMahon made an appearance at a house show in Dublin, Ireland yesterday. There has been a lot of questions flying around as to weather this is a hint to her WWE TV return or not. To clear this up, there is no word yet if she will be returning to TV any time soon or not, weather it be on Smackdown or RAW. It is believed that it was just a one-time appearance for the Ireland crowd with her husband HHH.
We earlier posted an article from ESPN.com about Bret Hart, for those who havent noticed, it said that Owen Hart was Brets father. However if youre a wrestling fan, you would know that Owen is his brother, and Stu Hart is his father. I guess that just shows how much research ESPN.com does into their wrestling articles.
Bret Hart/ESPN; News On The Rock, More:
- The Rock's latest movie "Walking Tall" is scheduled to hit stores on VHS & DVD by 8/3.
- Speaking of The Rock, he made an appearance last night on CBS Country Music Awards, to present one of the awards.
The following is on ESPN.com:
"10. Bret Hart, pro wrestler
Seriously. My casual interest during the sport's heyday was only because of the "Hit Man." He grew up in a wrestling family, coached by his obsessive, tyrannical dad, Owen Hart, and worked his way up from the Stampede Wrestling circuit out of Calgary to become one of the top stars of the World Wrestling Federation. Even if you're not a wrestling fan, and I'm not, check out the documentary, "Bret 'Hit Man' Hart." It details how he tried to fight wrestling's slide into seamier storylines and was paid back by betrayal. A family man with integrity amidst the snakes, at least Hart gets to punch out Vince McMahon."

LOL, I don't really get that (call me slow or dimwitted!!) but it's funny.
Anyone catch that Eddie Guerrero special last night? I'm sad to say I missed it.

Hogan Speaks Out, Guerrero Special Ratings:
Hulk Hogan was on FAN 590 in Toronto yesterday. He was mainly on to talk about the upcoming Tampa/Calgary NHL game, but had some wrestling mentions. He said Tampa would beat Calgary like "he beat up Bret Hart, dude!". He went on to claim he'd have been in the NHL if he had not pursued pro wrestling. Okay. The interviewer then asked if he'd spend a lot of time in the penalty box, to which Hogan said something along the lines of "no, but I'd be body checking and body slamming players just like I did Andre the Giant." The host then referred to Andre as a 900 pound wrestler. Close enough, right? Hogan also talked about how he punked The Rock out at SkyDome, which is why Toronto is his favorite wrestling city. Said to be a pretty sad interview.
Eddie Guerrero's special drew a 1.6 rating on the overnights, which will result in a much lower final rating when it comes out. American Idol pulled a 21.3 during the hour it went head-to-head with the special.
Stacy Keibler News; TNA TV Deal Changing Things Backstage?
Rob Van Dam's comic book store in Lakewood, California will be having WWE diva Stacy Keibler signing autographs June 10th from 6-9pm. They are going as far as to let fans buy an autograph ahead of time and have it mailed to them. For more info, email info@5starcomics.com.
The mood in the NWA-TNA locker room has changed since the company acquired the FOX Sports Net TV deal. While it's safe to say everyone is exciting about the added exposure, some of the younger guys are getting nervous about the big step. In addition, those same guys are worried that with the TV deal a push to bring in higher-caliber established names in could begin, which could wind up with them being lost in the mix. Those guys are apparently being informed that if such stars are brought in, it will be for a few shows only, and that their spots are secure.
Stephanie McMahon Update, Final Guerrero Ratings, More
"Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story", the special on Eddie Guerrero which aired last night UPN, ended up doing a 1.1 broadcast rating, with a 2 share. That is definitely not a good rating.
As previously reported, Stephanie McMahon made an appearance at the WWE house show in Dublin, Ireland. To update on this, it is not out of the ordinary that a McMahon comes out to greet the crowd while doing shows overseas. For example, at one show overseas a while back, Shane McMahon came out to greet the crowd, however he did not return to TV. This may not be the case with Stephanie as there is a very large demand to see her back on TV. However, there is still no word on any plans for Stephanie McMahon to make an appearance on WWE TV.

Chris Jericho & Triple H Injured, Stephanie McMahon Update:
Chris Jericho hurt his arm agaisnt Tyson Tomko on the first night of the Europe Tour. From what we know it is nothing serious.
Triple H is also said to be working through a small arm injury as well, though like Jericho's, it is not too serious.
The latest word on Stephanie McMahon appearing on shows during the Europe Tour is that she's just there to represent the WWE, and we have no word on when she will be back on television as of right now.
Official WWE SmackDown! Preview (6/3): Undertaker vs. Booker T
The following is an article from WWE.com:
The Undertaker will be competing in a rare televised match this Thursday night on SmackDown!, as he goes one on one with Booker T in a Judgment Day rematch! Booker claims that he is not scared of Undertaker and will "shock the world" and defeat the Phenom. Will his boasts come true? Find out this Thursday night on UPN.
In addition, the lovely Divas on SmackDown! will be in action this week, as Torrie Wilson, Miss Jackie, Dawn Marie and Sable square off in a Summer Break Out Bikini Contest! Miss Jackie gave Rico and Charlie Haas a sneak preview last week, and "Charles" was very impressed, to say the least! (But Rico promised that Miss Jackie would look even better this Thursday night.) This huge competition also marks the return of Sable to SmackDown!
Last week, General Manager Kurt Angle named John Bradshaw Layfield the No. 1 contender to Eddie Guerrero and his WWE Championship. The two Superstars will battle for the title at The Great American Bash (Sunday, June 27 in Norfolk, Va.). Angle also made the unprecedented step of allowing JBL to select the stipulation for this match! JBL will reveal that stipulation this week on SmackDown!
And speaking of Angle, the Olympic gold medalist has forbidden Eddie Guerrero from wrestling until Latino Heat signs a release form clearing Angle of any liabilities if Guerrero is injured inside the squared circle. Will Latino Heat sign the form?
All this and much more Thursday night at 8/7 CT on UPN.
Victoria's Bikini, Test's Return, Mae/Moolah:
UPN 9 New York featured a story about Mae Young and the Fabulous Moolah. They took a look at the upcoming women's wrestling documentary, Lipstick & Dynamite, as well as their WWE work. The documentary will be released in some theaters towards the end of the year before being released on DVD.
Test had been out of action for a long period of time with a neck injury, but he is back on the road as of this weekend. No word when he will be back on TV at this time.
WWE has started up their auction site once again. Right now up for auction is an autographed Ric Flair DVD, an autographed Victoria Silver Stud Bikini, an autographed Stone Cold book, autographed Eddie Guerrero Fuzzy Dice, and much more.
HHH Gets What He Wants, HBK, Eddie Guerrero News; More:
A few sources are saying that the pressure of holding the WWE Title may be slowly getting to Eddie Guerrero, especially now that house show attendance is so poor, and the champion is the guy who should supposedly be a big draw in the company. Sources point to Eddies huge blade job at Judgment day as a possible sign that he is trying too hard right now, and that the pressures may be getting to him.
There is a lot of speculation making rounds that Triple H actually set himself up with the main event Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels at Bad Blood so that he can still hold the main event slot on RAW, despite not being the World Heavyweight Champion. I don't think that comes as a surprise to anyone.

Kenzo & Hiroko Suzuki's WWE Meeting, Hirohito, Playboy; More:
Hiroko Suzuki recently did an interview in Japan where she announced her WWE signing, as well as the details of how it went down.
She stated that she went to a meeting with Vince McMahon where he laid down the Hirohito gimmick and the ring costume for Kenzo Suzuki. Hiroko said that she let Vince know all of the problems with the gimmick, and everything that the Japanese would dislike and discredit about it.
Kenzo doesn't speak English, so Hiroko was his translator for conversation between Vince and Kenzo. She apparently refused to allow Kenzo to use the gimmick because of what it meant culturally in Japan.
WWE Management was said to be very shocked that Hiroko was so strong about the subject and the problems with the gimmick, and Vince ended up offering her a job as a ring attendant for Kenzo, mainly so that she can travel with him and be his interpreter.
Hirohito was slated to be in RAW's second biggest program this summer, but that will no longer happen. Also, Hiroko has been in talks recently about doing a Playboy photo shoot.

Bert Hart & Hulk Hogan At Odds Again?
Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan have once again become bitter rivals. Not exactly inside the ring this time, but on the hockey ice as Hogan has been an avid supporter of the Tampa Bay Lightning and on the other side, Bret Hart has been cheering on his Calgary Flames. Hart takes a few jabs at Hogan in his weekly column which you can read here: http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/Hitman/2004/05/29/478418.html
Edge Turns Heel In England & WWE Raw Brand Injuries:
WWE did a heel turn angle with Edge last night in Manchester due to the fact that he was up against Ric Flair who has been getting huge reactions from the crowds throughout the current European tour. Plus, Edge was getting booed anyway.
Kane got a bruised quad muscle during the second show in Dublin. Even though he was injured, he toughed it out and still worked injured last night in Manchester with Chris Benoit.
The first night in Dublin, Chris Jericho injured his arm while working with Tyson Tomko. That injured his apparently feeling better, however he is suffering with a sore neck. He was said to be in much pain last night in Manchester.
Austin/WWE Update, Who WWE Blames For Austin's Loss, Rock; More:
WWE still feels as though losing Steve Austin was the fault of Austin's high powered attorney, who is said to not even watch pro-wrestling. Austin's attorney talked Austin out of a deal that would have earned him over $1 million a year working one day a week most weeks.
While WWE had talked of possibly even allowing Austin to use the Stone Cold name in non-WWE ventures with their permission, as of right now it seems as though WWE and Vince McMahon are dead set against Austin using that name or giving him rights to use the name anywhere.
This is kind of a strange situation, seeing as Vince had made a deal with Dwayne Johnson (Rock) which ended up giving him full rights and ownership to "The Rock."
Possible Great American Bash PPV Card:
The following was taken from norfolkscope.com:
WWE Championship
Bull Rope Match:
Eddie Guerrero vs. John Bradshaw Layfield
Handicap Match:
Undertaker vs. The Dudleys
United States Championship Match:
John Cena vs. Booker T
Flag Match:
Rob Van Dam vs. Rene Dupree
Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Jindrak
WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
Rico and Charlie Haas vs. Guerreros (Chavo and Classic)
The in-ring debut of Kenzo Suzuki
Divas Beach Compeition:
Dawn and Sable vs. Torrie and Miss Jackie (sub for Sable would be Jacqueline)
The Divas would get on top of each others shoulders and wrestle each other down into the ocean (a game of chicken fighting). The first Diva to fall off of the top of the others shoulders loses
Beach Volleyball Match
Of course nothing as of yet has been confirmed, so please don't assume this is the final card the for PPV.

Hart takes a few jabs at Hogan in his weekly column which you can read here: http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/Hitman/2004/05/29/478418.html Edge Turns Heel In England & WWE Raw Brand Injuries: WWE did a heel turn angle with Edge last night in Manchester due to the fact that he was up against Ric Flair who has been getting huge reactions from the crowds throughout the current European tour. Austin/WWE Update, Who WWE Blames For Austin's Loss, Rock; More: WWE still feels as though losing Steve Austin was the fault of Austin's high powered attorney, who is said to not even watch pro-wrestling. This is kind of a strange situation, seeing as Vince had made a deal with Dwayne Johnson (Rock) which ended up giving him full rights and ownership to "The Rock." Possible Great American Bash PPV Card: The following was taken from norfolkscope.com: WWE Championship Bull Rope Match: Eddie Guerrero vs. John Bradshaw Layfield Handicap Match: Undertaker vs. The Dudleys United States Championship Match: John Cena vs. Booker T Flag Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Rene Dupree Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Jindrak WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Rico and Charlie Haas vs. Guerreros (Chavo and Classic) The in-ring debut of Kenzo Suzuki Divas Beach Compeition: Dawn and Sable vs. Torrie and Miss Jackie (sub for Sable would be Jacqueline) The Divas would get on top of each others shoulders and wrestle each other down into the ocean (a game of chicken fighting). The first Diva to fall off of the top of the others shoulders loses Beach Volleyball Match Of course nothing as of yet has been confirmed, so please don't assume this is the final card the for PPV. |
Something seems like the WWE is getting on there feet.Taker on the beach?I wonder how thats going to look.I hope he comes out with that raven bird again. That was cool.

Huge Update on Brock Lesnar's Football Career & More:
Mark Craig of the Star Tribune recently sat down with Brock Lesnar in Arizona, where Brock was working out. The two spoke about which football team Lesnar could be headed to, and the use of steroids. Lesnar also gave a deep explanation of him leaving a $9 million a year contract for a possible minimum contract of $230,000 a year.
The following is a short excerpt from the article:
If it takes a minimum of two years on a practice squad and possibly two seasons in NFL Europe, as some have suggested, then why in the name of WWE founder Vince McMahon is Lesnar doing this?
Lesnar pushes himself during a set of squats.Ralph FresoSpecial To Star TribuneHe said he was tired of traveling and performing 280 nights a year. He missed his 2-year-old daughter, Mya, and craved the kind of unrehearsed competition he experienced in amateur wrestling.
"I wanted to play football out of college, but I followed the dollar signs instead of my heart," Lesnar said. "I decided I didn't want to look back when I was 50 and wonder if I could have played in the NFL."
Last week, as Lesnar neared the end of another steamy day of training at the high-tech Athletes' Performance Institute (API) in Tempe, Ariz., his "performance specialist," Luke Richesson, told him to reach down, grab a barbell weighing more than 500 pounds and stand up with it twice.
Major Brock Lesnar/NFL Update, Tons Of Information:
A very informative article has been printed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, with the focus being Brock Lesnar's quest to make it into the NFL. The article gives just about all of the information possible about what Brock is currently up to, and what his chances of making it may be.
It is a very enjoyable read, and it can be found at the following URL:
