What? That is such a cheap, easy reason. It's just silly, why would Shelley risk his neck out there just for that?
Also, why the hell werent the titles on the line? Why the hell did Team 3D lose, they lose all the freakin time! AND, who the fuck are the babyfaces and the heels? I thought LAX were the heels?

TNA abandoning the NWA titles is so retarded. I was hoping the female division would get the N\WA womens strap, but I guess not. Damn, TNA is just so bleh now. It's depressing.

So is the legacy of Vince Russo in TNA! Just like in WCW, nothing in TNA makes any f**king sense! Loved the "FIRE RUSSO" chants during the Abyss/Sting match, you can't make that shit up!
Interesting TNA Lockdown spoiler:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Just announced live at the TNA iMPACT taping in Orlando, Florida. Team 3D will be taking on Latin American Exchange yet again, this time in an Electrified Steel Cage Match.

Japanese shit is the best on the planet, period. Women, food, landscape, gaming scene, cars, porno...everything.
I agree ^ Japan owns all.
What's with Russo's obsession with gimmick matches? Sunday's pay per view featured an inter gender team bull rope match, last rites match, best two out of three falls match, winner must use the crossface chickenwing match, hardcore brawl match, elevation X match. Only three matches didn't have special stipulations. It's so ridiculous. Doesn't anyone learn from Russo's mistakes?

Oh, but i can't fucking stand most anime/manga....forgot about that one. Oh well, can't win em' all.
Yeah, Russo is a gimmick whore, I thought it was just a phase, though. I don't know why we just don't have decent singles and tag matches. I mean seriously. Some REALLY good matches could be put on..."sigh." I downed the ppv but haven't watched it yet, lol. Maybe I'll do that now.

WWE is changing it's ppv formula:
** WWE issued the following press release today confirming that all future "B" pay-per-views (Backlash, Judgment Day, etc.) will feature talent from all three brands:
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In the spirit that has made WrestleMania the premier brand in the pay-per-view industry, every future World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-views will feature talent and storylines from all three WWE programs: -- "Monday Night RAW®," "Friday Night SmackDown®," and "ECW®: Extreme Championship Wrestling(TM)."
Starting with Backlash® on April 29, WWE fans will see all their favorite Superstars on every pay-per-view. This is a change from 2005 and 2006, when only four of WWE's 16 pay-per-views featured talent from more than one WWE brand.
"We have seen over the past two years that WWE pay-per-views have significantly better buy rates when more than one WWE brand is involved," said Kurt Schneider, Executive Vice President, Marketing. "WrestleMania, with an average of one million buys per event over the past three years, is the perfect example. This new direction will give our fans more of what they want in every one of our pay-per-views."
Schneider said that the tri-branded WWE pay-per-views will benefit from promotion on all three WWE prime time programs - "Monday Night RAW," (USA, 9/8C), "Friday Night SmackDown," (CW, 8/7C)and "ECW: Extreme Championship Wrestling" (Tuesdays, SCI FI, 10/9C). WWE has had the No. 1 prime time shows on USA, SCI FI, and The CW each week in January and February among households and total viewers, compared to programs with two or more telecasts. Throughout January and February, WWE programs reached 15.7 million viewers in 10.8 million households during the average week.

Good for profits, bad for anyone other than main-eventers.

Not an ECW fan, or just not a fan of the current ECW?
IMO, I think this is a good thing. The sorry lack of talent, and the sorry state of all the different divsions, this could be the best move WWE has done since they did the stupid roster split! They need to wake up and see that they have talent on all three brands, and that they need to be equally promoted. I think that Raw and Smackdown should re-unite and it could just be WWE and ECW, instead of WWE, WWE, and ECW!
They should just have Smackdown! change to WCW. It would be alot more like the old WCW than the new ECW is to the old ECW. And it would make more sense. It really doesn't make sense to have two WWE world titles and two WWE world tag titles. Smackdown! even has the U.S. title and World title that looks just like the old WCW one.
In regards to the PPV thing, I think it's great for storylines and showcase of talent. It'll obviously force the guys to work extra dates but I dont know how their salary works, maybe they will get paid more? Probably.
I'm especially hoping that this will help the CW division get stronger. Surely this means the title will be defended more often.

Nah, Just have Raw. They got rid of the other shows cause they all sucked, so why bring back the Saturday shows and Sunday Night Heat, when they were crap to begin with?
I agree with Zent, that maybe WWE should morph SD into WCW, then have ECW, that would be sweet. I think that was once the original plan, back when WWFE first purchased WCW.
