Which is why I stopped watching. I knew who would win the big matches and it pissed me off that it was so predictable.
Back in 1998-2000 I usually had no idea what was gonna happen next. Soon, I started catching on and it got old. Then I just kinda stopped. I stopped caring.
And it's sadly been very predictable for a very long time, especially in terms of Royal Rumbles and Mania main events. Oh well.
Also, I do hope Bryan Danielson becomes the next NWA heavyweight champion! Now THAT would rule.
But I do hope Samoa Joe doesn't beat Cage for the TNA title this sunday, that wouldn't make any sense for Cage to drop the belt so fast. He should retain against Joe, then against another big name, and finally drop it to Kurt Angle.

Hi guys, this last weekend 5 spanish wrestling fans (one with his girlfriend and his fan brother from Malaga, one from Valencia, and me from Barcelona) went to Liverpool to see RoH. Seriously, this is da f'n best thing in the life, better than a EWE show or a WWE TV program or House Show in Barcelona.
The Saturday midday we attended the FanSlam with nearly all the wrestlers in the two-day events (except the marvelous Sara del Ray, two Shimmer female wrestlers and Pac, a great british wrestler). Photos and autographs (incluiding in a Spanish Flag) with everything, but the best moment was when we see Samoa Joe, our facials wasn't price. Even Joe was signing his TNA action figure (I have one
). The FanSlam was a great preview of the events.
In the Saturday event, we had silver tickets (second row) in the right side (looking from ramp to ring). For our surprise, the first match was Davey Richards vs Homicide w/Julius Smokes. A great opening, with funny moments (specially for Julius, but also for the great work like heel for Davey and the "Gayvey" chants) and good false endings. Homicide won with the Cop Killa! (I think that is the second most spectacular non-flying move to see in live, after Canadian Destroyer).
The next match was the Shimmer match between Alisson Danger and Sara del Ray. I'm impressed with the new phisical look from Alisson, is now really beauty... but Sara is a amazing woman, and like Alisson, also a great wrestler. Good match, Sara won with a Tiger Suplex.
The third match was the tag team match between Colt Cabana & BJ Whitmer against Jimmy Jacobs & Jimmy Rave. The match started with a brawl in the ringside and into the crowd. One of spanish expedition is a Jacobs' fan, and he did a Jacobs' sign, And Jimmy saw it, gave to him the hand, show it to the camera and Jimmy took it to strangle Cabana! After this, the sign dissapeared (the next day he made another one that saying "Someone stole my other J.Jacobs' sign", but in the sunday event, we find out that was Jacobs who remained it, so he edited his new sign to "Jimmy stole my J.Jacobs' sign" for the laugh of RoH crew). The Jimmy's team had notable heel heat, and after some false endings, Jacobs connected his Contra Code on Whitmer to win.
The next match was one of my favourites. Matt Sydal against Delirious in the two out of three falls match. Delirious is f'n crazy, and both delivered a great match. The first fall was took by Sydal after a low blow and pinning him with a small package. The second fall was obviously for Delirious, after connected the Shadows over Hell and put him in the Cobra Stretch. The last fall was the most disputed, but finally the Open The Brave Gate Champion winned after the Cyclorama (Belly-To-Belly Moonsault Slam off the top rope).
After this, we had the 20 min intermission, and after this, Jetta & Eden Black (two female wrestlers) challenged Alisson & Sara in a tag team match for the next day. I think that both are good heels, because the fans booed them and chanting "boring"... or maybe was because they had zero-interest in them? lol
The first match after the intermission was Roderick Strong defending his FIP Heavyweight title against Pac. One of the best fights in the night, with some high risk moves, like moves against the apron from Strong, 450os from Pac in the ring and a crosckrew dive to the ring. Finally, Strong retained with the Tiger Driver. All was impressed with Pac's work, and after the match we chanted "Bring Back Pac".
In the surprise of the weekend, Shingo & Naruki Doi (of Dragon Gate) defeated the Briscoes to win the RoH Tag Team Titles, in the best match of the night! Shingo was the star of the match in overall, though Doi showed better technically, and the Briscoes... simply the Briscoes were the showstealers of the weekend. Amazing match with a lot of double moves and false endings (to increased exponentially the japanese win), until Doi pinned (after the Doi 555 aka Fireman's Carry lift into facebuster if I remember correctly) Mark to win the RoH Tag Team Titles! After the match, Jay complained to lose again a tag team titles (like NOAH's ones) in his first defense, and in one night only, challenged his brother Mark in a Briscoe vs Briscoe Match, for the fans' delight!
And in the Main Event, Samoa Joe battled the Liverpool's RoH british favourite wrestler Nigel McGuinnes. Another good match, and Samoa shake hand with our Jacobs's fan (f'n bastard! lol ) before a Ole Kick. In one moment, Samoa Joe hitting a Muscle Buster from top rope to apron! After that the referees tried to retire Nigel and stop the match, and Samoa called Nigel a pussy and that returned to the ring to shake the hand, but Nigel returned to slap Joe's face and restarted the match, and the people believed in another surprise victory, specially when Nigel kicked out a Muscle Buster, but Joe kicked not one but two Lariats, and finally put Nigel in The Choke to win the match. After the ME, Samoa Joe delivered a big speech, about RoH and put over Nigel, calling him the future. A very good show!
But the next night was more greater that this! After BJ, Nigel & Colt signed my gold ticket, and Alisson & Sara del Ray signed my sign "Real Women Do Real Wrestling" (incluided a "Hell Yeah!!" from Alisson!), we took seat in the first row in the left side (opposite side of the last night), with the spanish flag between england one and commentary table. Prior the official start, BJ Whitmer attacked Jacobs into the crowd in a brief glimpse of his later Falls Counts Anywhere Match. Unlucky, was in the other side lol.
The first match was the predicted one, between Delirious and "Colt Daddy" Cabana. F'n hilarious match, with Cabana making a spoof of the old british wrestler Big Daddy. Cabana put his disguise (baby incluided) in Delirious before the ring bell, and after this was Cabana who behaved like Delirious lol Cabana did jokes with the baby, and finally throw to the crowd, but later Delirious asked to return the baby, and put it in his mouth ("Eat that baby" lol) to start the match! Later Cabana messed up Delirious mask, and he tried few times to pin the referee with two-counts from Cabana! After this, they wrestler a little and Delirious took a surprise victory (I expected to win Cabana) with a Roll Up. We loved this match.
Like the past night, the second match was the Shimmer one. The people was more animated from the start, and was another good female match, when my lovely tag wins after another Tiger Suplex from the amazing Sara. Good ovation for the four females after the match.
With no time to recover the breath, BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs started his Falls Counts Anywhere Match! The first half of the match was between the crowd of the north side and the second balcony. A lot of fans we didn't see anything and chanted "we can't see this", but the other people replied with chants like "BJ winning" lol The best moment was when Jacobs throw down BJ from the second balcony, and jumped over him with a crossbody block dive! After this, Jacobs put BJ into the ring, and busting him open with a big spiked nail! Good work and false endings (like a big Tombstone from BJ to Jacobs) in the ring, finally both fightin in the entrance ramp, and BJ connected the Explorer to win the match and took revenge against Jacobs. Great ovation for both.
In the "Battle of High-Flyers", Matt Sydal wrestled against Pac. Another very good match of both, with a lot of high flying/risk moves, but also a submission moves from Sydal. Finally Sydal wins after a great Shooting Star Press. Another great ovation for both wrestlers.
And before the intermission, the best match in the weekend, the Briscoe vs Briscoe. Both work faces, and the people initially chanted "Let's Go Briscoe/Let's Go Briscoe" and the Briscoes asking the crowd "which one?", so the people starting with "Let's Go Jay/Let's Go Mark". Both executed his best repertory of moves and counters, with amazing spots and false endings. Nearly the 30 min draw, Jay connected the Jay Driller for a ten-count, both recovered before ten, Mark connected a Lariat and a Reverse Death Valley Driver, and no one were able to recovered again, so the match ended in a No Contest by 10 Count Limit. Initially a part of crowd booed (probably a 30 min draw was better ending, but also probably both weren't able more to work in this f'n level of intensity), but fasting all the arena dedicated a standing ovation for both Briscoes.
After a much needed intermission to recovering forces, they restarted with the Tag Team Match between the Japanese Champs and Strong & Richards. Another great tag team match, with Strong but specially Davey playing a good heels. This match (specially for the facials) remembered me a bit the Dave Taylor & William Regal vs Paul London & Brian Kendrick of the Smackdown! House Show in Barcelona, but obviously without no-one restriction of any type. Both showed a good tag teams, and Doi connected the Doi 555 from the top rope in Richards. I prefered the last night one, but this was also a great match.
Later we had a "Fighting Without Honor" between Nigel McGuinnes and Jimmy Rave. A very good no-dq match, with Nigel playing a good face (seriously, my opinion of Nigel changed much in positive in these events) and Jimmy a very good heel (Die Jimmy Die!) and took even four spots in a guard rail put for Nigel between the official one and the apron, incluiding a backdrop from ring to the rail, o a nasty trademark DDT into the rail! Jimmy prior of that also "eat" the post, and connected a kick into a chair to the Nigel knee. Finally, Nigel connected a stiff lariat to the win. The fans cheered Nigel, but also chanted "Thank You Jimmy" after the match.
And in the final match in the night and in his RoH's career, Samoa Joe wrestled in his 130th match against Homicide w/Julius Smokes. Julius is funny as heel (brrraaaa, like a machine gun!), and in the first moments of the match Joe fooling (moking a Homicide's failed crossbody, and later went to the bar to drink a beer!) until Homicide slapped him. Then Joe acted like the f'n Samoan Submission Machine, and both delivered a good match, incluided Joe hitting the Ole Kick to Smokes, and the end became when Samoa Joe hit the Muscle Buster from the top rope!
After the match, the entire RoH (Liverpool) locker room stood in the ramp, and Samoa Joe make a great farewell promo, about RoH, Gabe, the roster and the fans. We interrumped sometimes with chants like "He's a Legend", and he slapped hands with fans before moving back with the other wrestlers. Very emotive.
Amazing two nights, I can't wait to return to Liverpool (well, not only for wrestling, but also for women lol ) to see RoH, but for now, the spanish expedition (for now the Valencia one and me, and two fans of Madrid) will return to Liverpool to see the KoE Cup. In the next days, the photos![wink](/m/b/M11IGVT0HL1UqvhRVfl6iwOu0xtzQsQmu85tozt61hWZCKVh8NuVluq5t7OIloI67TVYixBsDeS7zFApIzSdi5GF0Osgb)

Zent, you haven't given us an update on how the wrestling is going in awhile.
Yeah, well it hasn't really been going for awhile, lol. We're starting to film skits to promote our show/school and our wrestlers but we've only released one yet. Our ring should be arriving in a month (the guy who we ordered it from lied to us about when he sent it, the bastard) and then hopefully we'll spend a few months training and then start promoting our shows (we already have a show scheduled for another motorbikers convention for july). Till then, I'm just awaiting the call from EWE when they decide to do another show. We were going to work the one show in Madrid on the 23rd of February, but it had to be changed since our ring hadn't arrived yet (or sent for that matter).
Thanks for the love though, TheMkGeek! Nice to see people are interested.

Are you kiddin', man, it's sweet to be able to chat with someone actually in the business. Gives new perspectives on things, and I wish all the best for you.

Raw Preview for next week:
** The following is from WWE.com:**
This past week on Raw, Randy Orton told partner Edge he wouldn’t have his back in the main event, citing a meeting with Mr. McMahon’s Executive Assistant, Jonathan Coachman. Wednesday morning, WWE.com found out the reason for that meeting: The Legend Killer’s potential participation at WrestleMania 23.
WWE.com has learned that on Monday night, Orton will face Carlito and Ric Flair in a Triple Threat Qualifying Match for the final spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania. While Coachman granted Orton’s wish of a chance to qualify, he also gave Flair and Carlito a second chance. The two battled in what was supposed to be the final qualifying match last Monday, but The Great Khali attacked both, ending the match in a No Contest and leaving the final spot vacant.
Will Orton completely fulfill his wish and move on to WrestleMania, or will Flair or Carlito make good on their second chance at the Money in the Bank?

i can totally see this happen:
Shawn and Cena keeps up their little "Do you really have my back" thing for a while. When Wrestlemania comes, HBK will win the belt (I am for sure this will happen but if you huge John Cena fans are going to argue with me, please don't) Shawn is gonna win, and Edge will be the winner of the Money in the Bank thing once again, and he's probably gonna turn in his thing right away and beat Michaels right at his weakest point. Because the championship match is gonna be a huge long one where both guys at the end are barely even standing. I can see this happen because my other man Edge is the cruelest heel i've ever seen. so yeah, i can totally see this happen.
And the Trump won't go bald. It's not a prediction, it's a for sure.
And I don't see Orton getting there just yet.

Sub-Frost055, I hate Cena but there's no way he's dropping the belt to Micheals. They wont have both belts changing hands on one event, and Undertaker is already going to beat Batista. It really wouldn't make much sense to put the title on Micheals anyway. Babyface vs Babyface title changes are very hard to pull off right. Also, there is NO WAY Edge is going to win the money in the bank match again. That would make zero sense. Unless you're a huge name like Stone Cold or HBK, you're not going to win an anual special match twice in a row. Kennedy is in line for the top heel push, he's going to win the title shot. And yes, Orton will be in the ladder match.

Unless you're a huge name like Stone Cold or HBK, you're not going to win an anual special match twice in a row. Kennedy is in line for the top heel push, he's going to win the title shot. And yes, Orton will be in the ladder match.
Sub-Frost055, I hate Cena but there's no way he's dropping the belt to Micheals. They wont have both belts changing hands on one event, and Undertaker is already going to beat Batista. i can see where youre going with this. but Cena IMO was only holding the title for so long because of his movie. And no duh Undertaker is gonna win (And if he loses I'm going to kick everyone's ass because they are not going to let something like that happen even though its all scripts, but still) Edge could win the game because from what i've been hearing from people who do work at the events (My cousin has a son-in-law who is a security guard there) said that Edge is making his way to get to be one of the top guys. But another point from my friend's point of view, she said that someone is going to interfere in the HBK/Cena match for some reason and knock out Cena. Having Stone Cold come down and run into the match and kick the guy's ass (I forgot who she said was going to interefere) and make Shawn cover and get the win. That's what she said. other than that, i'm sticking to what i said before. I wasn't referring to Orton not being in the ladder match, i don't think he'll win. or if it comes down to two, whoch it will be, Edge and Orton battling on two ladders to get to the thing, and somehow Randy will lose by a ladder tip or something.
There are many ways to rise to the top, and Edge has already won the money in the bank. It wont happen again.
Also, Cena is not holding the belt because of the movie. He's holding it because of the movie, the album, the action figures, the toy belts, the live appearances, the talk shows and all the other media stuff. And that whole story with someone running in the HBK / Cena bout and Stone Cold coming out doesn't make any sense at all. I dont know your friend but she doesn't seem to understand wrestling very well. Cena's a bigger draw than Micheals, and he's younger, and he's just not going to drop the belt to a babyface (unless he turns heel himself, of course). The next WWE champion is probably going to be ... wow this is actually hard to predict because RAW simply has no big heel stars aside from Edge and Orton, and Edge cant be the next WWE champion because he's already had his run as Cena's rival, and Orton is always in the doghouse so he wont be winning the belt anytime soon. Hmmm... Khali isn't a good enough wrestler for even the WWE to put faith in... Nitro, Masters and Carlito are still midcarders, so they wont be getting the strap unless WWE gives one of them a sudden huge push... if Kennedy goes to RAW, he'll defenetely be the next champ... but that would really leave Smackdown with even less star power than it already has.
I can guarantee you that Edge will not win the ladder match; it would not make sense at all. Infact, the only thing that does make sense is for him and orton to take themselves out by either hitting each other with their finishers, or brawl outside the ring while Kennedy takes the briefcase.

i know who's in the roaster right now duh...
but let see, Edge has been in the industry for how many years? what are the chances that he won't be able to get anything now? its pointless to have a wreslter whos been in the game for a decade or two and not get to teh big tops.
and i don't care about smackdown or ecw becasue they all suck with cruiserweights and i just don't think Ecw is any entertaining. i just watch raw.
all that i am worrying about is if my friend's soccer game isn't happening because, well i have to just finish my softball practice, get change into my dx jersey and then im outta there, she's the fourth person to come with me to see raw live when its here in chicago. home of what jr. personally said in his book the #1 best crowd ever, and its the monday right before wrestlemania which means its gonna be the best episodes.
ever notice how the ones before ppv are always so mind chillingly awesome? but that's because they always do that. this is gonna be sweet!![grin](/m/b/l8Bt2tqLc2qFeRcvOfVMC06hYniXgfZotDGt2i72HE1SD6F1Wu70HjIWWFe0TjTjWTBjia1u1gFb8IozIlbs7mIAJfZ7)

Well, pretty much every wrestlemania I've seen, the title has always changed hands.
Also, you say that it wouldn't make much sense for some of the things to happen but I think that the unpredictablity of certain matches and endings is what makes it interesting. One second you think this is gonna happen and next thing you know THAT happens.
I'm all for unpredictablity and wierd champions. Remember when Shane was Europeon champion

Well it's roster (duh) and I didn't mean to point it out to you, I was just pointing out to everyone including myself who the stars in WWE are right now. Also, you're missing the point completely. I'm not saying Edge isn't getting anything- he is one of the top heels in the WWE, and I'm sure he will only rise even more. He just wont win the money in the bank. Oh, and wrestlers dont get stuff by being in the business for a long time. Look at Cena, and then look at Chavo Guerrero.

So you didn't see John Cena retaining the title at Wrestlemania 22, or Eddie Guerrero retaining the title at Mania XX? That's just two off the top of my head, I know Hogan has retained at Mania aswell.

i just don't see him retaining, it think they're going to go somewhere a little bit. but then here's what i came up with during school today during second block
Edge doesn't win and Randy does, those two go after it and Backlash is where it comes down where winner takes all, John Cena and Shawn Michaels battle it out a few until Backlash, I'm not commenting who won at wrestlemania, but mostly there is always a match for the belt once again with the same wrestlers.
that's all i can think of, and to the guy who asked what's wrong with being a kennedy fan? nothing, i just admire this guy's spirit for saying kennedy will be champion. im not making fun of that.

Do you even watch Smackdown! at all? Kennedy is the only rising star who is a heel. Edge and Orton have both already been world champions. The Ladder match is a rising star's match. It's point is to elevate someone, not keep someone at the top.

they should be on raw, not wher there cruiserweights wondering around having the dreams to be fullfilled. i only watch smackdown when there really is something incredible going on. other than that its just raw, i've been a raw fanatic for... since i could remember, even though an episode of smackdown was the first time i saw my first true love... edge... i've stopped watching it when most of the fun ran out... basically when they started with the drafting where mcmahon takes over raw and flair takes over smackdown, i liked that story, but they just suddenly completely destroyed wwe from there IMO, not saying what you or anyone else thinks about it, but i personally beleive that they destroyed wwe right from that story. and also another reason why i hate smackdown, Michael Cole and JBL, that's all i have to say![furious](/m/b/4OhmyiQUevtezUjJHp8tpHnnhawCEaCjwfJ2CA7U0acx5F5NHEGhKvTWvu09seAUOqf8yHg5s7JUvjSRKsOOsdWcyBIm2)
